Pokemon: A New Legend 1 Other Trainer By: Pokemon Of The Past DX ========================================================================== Before you read stuff. This section is for descriptions of places, people, Pokemon, and moves seen throughout the story. I don't like to waste time putting descriptions unless they're needed, (clothing change, something appearing fancy, Pokemon doesn't look the way it does normally, ect.) This will have descriptions of new things in the episode. If you don't know what something looks like, then read this. Unless you don't care about detail. Onawa region: The area where the story takes place. More will be heard as new cities and towns are explored. Cho: (The o makes an O sound) He is a small, seven-year-old boy who lives in Luminous. He is short and has short, dark black hair. It's really messy like the common anime kid or wild person. His eyes are black and have the big anime look to the. He wears a black shirt that has the symbols that the TCG cards have on them. Regular blue jeans and carries around a backpack a lot. Pichu: The pre-evolved form of Pikachu. If you don't know what it looks like then you should even call yourself a Pokemon fan. Cho's Mom: She is the exact example of homemaker. She wears a green dress with a white apron with pink flowers on it. She smells like flowers too. The strings of her apron are tied in a fancy bow behind her. She has blonde hair and blue eyes that also have the big anime look to it. Her hair is long and tied with a bow on the back. Cho's dad: He is a big executive in Alpha Corp. Always in a gray suit and doesn't talk much. He always says yes to Cho because he doesn't like having work interrupted. Like Cho, he has short, dark black hair except his is always neat and never messy. His eyes are dark black like Cho but he has the serious guy look to them. The kind that look evil, angry and secretive all the time. Dragonite: Same as Pichu Luminous: A small, lush and green town in the middle of the forest. There are pebble streets and flowers are abundant everywhere. Only 20 houses are in the town that are all made of wood. The town gets it's name from the bright reflections of the sun from the dew in the morning. There are tall mountains to the north and east that surround the area. A giant river runs through the west of the town. Though it's kind off in the middle of nowhere, the city isn't far from it. It lies south of the town. To pass to other areas, one must head south of the town, into the city, then west from there where a bridge spans across the river and north. The area far past the east mountain is the Hoen region. Mystic Wood: The name of the forest that surrounds Luminous. A long time ago, many rare Pokemon and unusual Pokemon existed in the forest so the people of the past considered the forest mystic. However, it is said that someone enraged the guardian Pokemon of the forest by cutting down a tree nicknamed the Epoch, since it dated back to the prehistoric times, and because of this, it unleashed it's rage and upheaved the land to the north and east, forming the mountains, and split the land west, forming the massive river. Many of the amazing Pokemon that lived there left because of this and now only regular Pokemon like Pidgey and Sentret live there. Although, some people, on rare occasions, find one of the amazing Pokemon in the forest from long ago. Episode 1: The Journey Begins It's a bright and sunny day in the town of Luminous. The many residents were all gathering in the town center to celebrate the departing of the new trainers. The cries of people filled the air. Then the mayor stepped up onto the stage with the trainers and started his speech. "Today is a most joyous day. Our young, ten-year-olds have finally received their first Pokemon and now going off on their adventure to become great Pokemon trainers." "Wow, this is so cool! I wish I could be up there setting out with all of the other trainers!" said a boy in the crowd "Don't worry, you only have one more year." said his mother "Stupid kid. If you want to become a trainer then get off your butt and do it yourself." Cho thought to himself "No way I'm waiting three more years to become a trainer. I gotta' start now. Who knows what else I could miss out on. Like the downfall of Team Rocket. I was to young to become a trainer so I missed it all. And then there was the crowning of a new champion. Who knows what else I could miss if I sit around and wait three more years!" "Your saying your thoughts out loud again." said his mother The whole crowd was staring at him. Cho's face grew bright red and he had the big sweat drop on his head. He quickly ran off. Later on that day, he began to prepare to leave for his journey. "Alright, I've got everything needed in my bag. Now I'll be ready to set off." said Cho excitedly "Gonna' get yourself beat up out there? Just don't rack up your medical bill." Cho's father said casually while he was working on his laptop "What's that suppose ta mean!?" yelled Cho "You don't have a Pokemon, remember?" Still looking at computer "Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Uhh, could I-" "No, if you want one, why don't you ask Professor Maple. Ohh that's right, your too young." Still looking at computer "A dad is supposed ta help and encourage his son!" "Then here." Still looking at computer Cho's dad tossed him 3 Pokeballs. Two of them were average balls but one of them had a pink and purple top with an M on it. "Hey, a Master Ball! You're really giving this to me?!" "Yeah, go on an catch your own first Pokemon with it since you're so impatient. But you better not waste it on some weak, crappy Pokemon like a Aipom or Wiggytuff. Capture something powerful like a Kingdra or Tyranitar. Maybe even something legendary like one of the Regis or Lugia." "I think you're thinking too big." "Good luck." "Alright, I'm going to go out and catch a Pokemon right now!" "Cho, it's time for bed." said his mother "But I was about to go capture my first Pokemon." "You can do it in the morning. Right now it's bed time." "7:00 p.m. isn't even that late." The next day... "Alright, this time I'm ready to go out and catch my first Pokemon!" "Cho, get something nice on. We're going to visit grandma." said his mother "Why now of all times!? Do we have to!?" "Ahh, I sympathize with you son. Visiting the mother-in-law is never easy. Especially the cooking." WHACK! "Don't talk bad about my mother!" said Cho's mom "Ohh well, I guess I can try again tomorrow." Cho said disappointedly The next day... "Alright, this time no interference. I'm gonna' catch my first Pokemon today!" "Cho, get your uniform on. You have a soccer game today." said Cho's mom "Argh, of all days it had to be today! Why did I even join? Well, tomorrow is another day." The next day... "Now for sure! I'm gonna' catch my first Pokemon!" "Cho, today is your check-up, remember?" said Cho's mom "This is getting old." The next day... "NO DISTRACTIONS AT ALL TODAY! I'M GONNA' CATCH A POKEMON!" "Cho." said his father "Argh, what now?" "If you're going to catch a Pokemon, at least get dressed. In case you forgot you just got out of the shower." "Oh yeah, can't forget that." "Don't worry about a thing today. You should be able to go catch your Pokemon just fine today. Your mom shouldn't be waking up soon today. We had a long night." "What does that mean?" "You'll understand when you're older. Well, I'm off to work. See you son." "I don't get adults at all. Now let's see... where's the best spot in the forest to capture a Pokemon. I guess the southern forest. I'll need to head to the city after I catch my Pokemon to start my journey. It'll be a big time saver." Cho thought as he looked at his map Cho left his house and headed to the forest. "I wonder what I can catch out here?" he thought to himself He looked around and spotted a huge, black Dragonite. It was at least the size of two cars. "WOW, AMAZING! And here I thought that all the rarities in this forest were gone. What a find! And it's asleep too. Capture doesn't get any easier than this. The Master Ball will be perfect for catching it!" Cho threw the Master Ball at it but right as it was about to make contact, it was caught by someone. "Hey what are you-!" "Thanks for the Pokeball kid! I needed one! See ya!" yelled a girl as she ran off "Stop, you dirty thief! Come back with my master ball!" Cho's shouting came as a rude awakening to the Dragonite trying to enjoy it's rest. It woke up annoyed and angrily and started shooting off it's Hyper Beam. "Ahh, curse the stupid thief! Not only did she make me lose my catch and steal my Master Ball, she made this Dragonite wake up!" Cho screamed as he ran for his life He ran as fast as his little legs could carry him, screaming at the close shaves from the Hyper Beams. The Dragonite kept in pursuit of him until it suddenly stopped. Cho stopped too and wondered what was going on. Then, a pair of glowing red eyes showed through the darkness of some trees. The Dragonite ran off and the creature let out a roar. The force of the sound from it blew Cho back and he slammed his head on a tree and went out cold. "Hey, kid! Wake up! Are you even still alive?" a figure said "Huh, what's going on? What happened?" "You got knocked out." "Oh yeah, I remember. A Dragonite chased me and then some huge thing just roared and I guess I went out after that. Well, thanks for the-" Cho suddenly went silent as he took a look and saw what saved him. "Hey you're a-" "A Pichu. I'm sure that's obvious." "But you're talking! Pichus can't talk! That's crazy!" "Maybe you are crazy." "I must have really hit my head hard then." "I'm just messing with you stupid. I really am a talking Pichu. But that isn't the only thing special about me. I'm a lot stronger then most normal Pichu. For instance, I can use electric attacks without shocking myself." "So can any electric pokemon. But out of all of them, a Pichu is the weakest of them all. So what if you don't shock yourself. Pichus are still weak." "Hey, I'm not weak! I can prove it too!" "Does this mean I can capture you?" "Where did you get an ideal like that!? I'll just battle the next Pokemon I see. And anyway, aren't new pokemon trainers supposed to battle and catch wild pokemon with their starter pokemon?" "Well, ya see about that... HEY, HOLD ON A SECOND! HOW DOES SOME NEW- BORN POKEMON KNOW THAT!?" "I told you I wasn't your average Pichu. AND I'M NOT A NEW-BORN! I just don't evolve." "What kind of pokemon can't evolve!?" "Again stupid, I told you I'm not normal. Now did you want a battle demonstration or not?" "Yeah, sure. Let's see what you can do." "Well, here comes something now. I'll just warm up with a few stretches and I'll be ready to go." "Hmmmm..." Cho thought to himself "He's not paying attention right now so I could..." Cho started laughing evilly to himself. He got up, picked up a near by branch and smacked Pichu on the head. "Now he's knocked out! Pokeball go!" The pokeball went off and captured Pichu without a struggle. "Hahaha, alright! I caught my very first pokemon!" he said while doing the Ash pose when he catches a pokemon. "Alright, I'll just go heal him up at the Pokemon Center and then I can have a battle with someone."
