Chapter two. " You're... you're Ash's father?" Brock stuttered. " He told us you died three years ago." Charizard/Anthony sighed. "Delilah just didn't want you to know the truth." "Then, why did you scorch Ash every time you came out of the Pokeball?" Misty asked. "There are times when the Charizards' instincts are too strong. They have become hard to cope with since I evolved." Charizard/Anthony explained. "Maybe you can help me find a cure for it." Nurse Joy said excitedly, but Anthony/Charizard shook his head. "The only known cure is to drink from the River of Moltres." "The River Mol... but that place is a myth!" Nurse Joy protested. "It has been searched for and never found." "Only the family of the Ketchum's and the Edwards can find it. It is in the mountains of the Kangashkan, at the top of Mount Atlas." "That's a volcano!" Brock protested. "How is Ash expected to drink lava and survive?" "That has been a mystery for many years, but the Edwards's and the Ketchums' bodies have not been affected by the lava, and it works as a healing potion." "The risks are too great. How will we know he'll survive? And why didn't you travel to the river when you transformed?" Nurse Joy asked. "I was only a small Charmander at the time. And a trainer caught me. My time limit ran out soon enough." "Time limit?" This from Misty. Charizard/Anthony sighed again. "Perhaps I should tell you the whole story." And he sat down on the floor and began his tale. Pretty strange, huh? I still need more time to work on Charizard's/Anthony's story, so give me a few more days. Oh, and by the way, I realised that in the Strangers I changed Tracy to Brock. I must apologize for this. I had no idea that this had happened. I must thank the person who informed me of this, who asked to remain anonymous.
