Chapter four.

Everything was a blur. All I could see was a blue fuzz and a black, hazy background. The last thing I could remember was striking at a Hork-Bajir.

< Well, well, well. The famous 'Andalite' bandits have finally been captured. >

I recognised the voice at once. It was Visser Three. The leader of the Yeerk invasion of Earth. Slowly, I opened our eyes. I was in a small cage, just big enough for me. Around me were five smaller cages, holding Jake, Cassie, Rachel, Marco and Ax. They were all in their human forms (Even Ax, I later found out he had morphed at the last minute for an unknown reason). Visser Three knew our greatest secret.

The others were starting to come to. I could see Marco trying to morph to gorilla, but for some reason could not.

< Ah, foolish humans. > Visser Three sneered. < I have given you implants preventing your morphing capabilities. The only way to remove them is to give yourselves large electric shocks. >

"Darn!" Jake said in exasperation.

"Why haven't you tried to take over our brains yet" Marco sneered. "Or do you want to finish us off nice and slow?"

< Nice and slow, actually. > Replied the Visser. < You see, with controllers, there's always the chance of the host getting freed somehow. > Visser Three motioned to Jake at this point, who had once been taken over by a Yeerk. < So I've decided to get rid of you once and for all. > He continued. He clicked his fingers and a sort of archway rose up from the floor.

< This, > He announced. < Is the exterminator. It detects and destroys non-controllers. >

"You tried that a few months ago, and we easily dodged it." Cried Marco. "It'll never work."

< Au contraire, for now, it is deadly, but silent. Sub-Visser 7345, take them through. >

A large and very ugly looking Hork Bajir undid the bolts to our cages and held us together with amazing strength. We put up the best fight we could, but it just wasn't enough. He pushed us through the archway and everything went black.

Another cliffhanger. I love suspense.
