Author's Note – I decided to scrap the idea of Ash's friends coming back as it said at the very bottom of the last part. This change was made to go along with the genre. Also, from now on, Pokémon speech, whether it be psychic or not, will be in quotations because there obviously aren't any humans left. Lastly, the next few chapters are not like the last one which was a spin- off of The Twilight Zone, but it will still be named The Poké-Zone for the small fact that Planet P is a zone for Pokémon.

Welcome to Terra

_____

(Ash's POV)

I'll miss every one of my friends and family. I still can't believe I did that, and all because I struggled to stop Mewtwo…

"How far away is it?" I asked the others.

"Who's to say? We are traveling to a galaxy far, far away. We'll know when we're near…" replied Mew.

I was lagging behind a little because I wasn't used to using my mind to move myself instead of my arms and legs. I struggled to catch up, but that just made me slow down even more. Mewtwo saw me struggling, and signaled the others to stop, saying "I think we need to teach him how to control his new powers, or we'll never get there."

I sighed, sensing a long and boring lecture come upon me.

_____

I don't know how long it took, but they finally taught me how to teleport, use Shadow Ball, Confusion, Slash, and how to use my new telekinesis. I tested out my Shadow Ball first; throwing it towards a random planet, knowing it would dissipate before it entered the atmosphere. After that, we were going to continue, but a searing hot beam of energy shot through the void right past me. Then a few more went past us, each one getting closer and closer.

I turned towards our attackers to see a few dozen weirdly designed ships, each mounted with two laser cannons.

I sensed Mewtwo reach out with his mind to whoever was piloting it, but he stopped and got a blank look on his face. "There's nothing living in there…"

I turned towards him with a questioning gaze, but was interrupted as more blasts shot past us. I, again, turned towards these ships and I looked through the cockpit's window, seeing a metal being with two red beady eyes, these obviously being robots, but they only existed in science fiction stories, didn't they?

They kept shooting at us, and I grew impatient as they grew nearer and nearer, getting into a more accurate range, and I took off towards one of them, intent on destroying these non-living things before they killed us.

As I got closer, a few of them started shooting at me, which caused me to take evasive maneuvers if I didn't want to get killed. I flew past one, slicing it with my claws, causing it to become disabled. I then turned, throwing a Shadow Ball at one of them, then I tore through another, creating large holes in each, disabling them.

As I turned towards a few more, a smaller blast of energy went past me, singing my skin. I turned around to see the robots shooting at me through the holes with pistols. Obviously, I would need to take out the pilots too, if I wanted to get out alive.

I was about to go back and destroy those, but I saw my three companions destroy them, and help me with this fight.

I went back to fighting these machines with the help of Mewtwo, Mew, and Celebi. Even with our powerful minds and attacks, we were slowly tiring out, and before long, we had used up all our energy, and had to flee, or die.

Luckily, there were only about sixteen more left, so we wouldn't have that much trouble getting away. We turned away from them, and took off, swerving so they couldn't get any good shots at us. This continued for about five minutes, then they started turning around, back to their base, but not before one shot at me, which I didn't have time to dodge.

I screamed for help, and covered my face from the blast, but before it could hit, it just vanished, and in its place, a bluish hued Pikachu, who looked a lot like mine before the earth was destroyed. "Never forget us, we'll always watch over you, Ash…" he said, very solemnly.

It then disappeared, leaving no traces of it left, and I vowed to never forget my friends and family, but even so, I could not help but cry as I turned back towards our destination and take off, leaving my tears to float forever in the vacuum.

_____

(Mewtwo's POV)

While we traveled even more, we had to occasionally go down to planets for nourishment, otherwise we would have died long ago. That reminds me, every time we go eat somewhere, Ash eats less and less, looking even more depressed than usual ever since our fiasco with the robots piloting spaceships. Back there, I sensed a ghostly presence, as if there was a ghost talking to Ash, but I could only hear whispers throughout my mind. This disturbed me, we were so close to finally cheering him up, but then something happened back there. I guess I can't blame the dead, but still, they should not have shown themselves if they wanted him to stay sane.

Back to the present, we are flying in the middle of nowhere, slowly getting close to our destination. I can sense we are very close to it, within a few weeks of reaching it. This has lifted my spirits greatly, knowing I get to meet more kinds of Pokémon, and new friends, and maybe a way to cheer Ash up.

All I can do is hope…

(Ash's POV)

I'm getting more and more depressed, I can feel it, and I have good reason to, each time we visit a planet, memories of my friends flood my mind, memories of all the good times we had, and visions of what could have been. Then I can faintly hear my friends and families voices, saying, "Never forget us…"

My companions keep telling me I have to move on, and that it isn't worth it to dwell on the past, but I can't help it, I miss them so much it's tearing me apart. So much, in fact, that I feel weaker every time I wake up from slumber. But I have to at least show my cheerful side to the others, if more for their sake than mine.

_____

Many weeks have past since I last thought anything, we are now arriving at our destination, a medium sized planet, which looks very similar to earth. I can feel my stomach lurch in anticipation to entering the atmosphere, knowing that it will probably use up all my psychic energy to block the heat, and how much turbulence there will be.

I looked over at the others, seeing determined expressions on their faces as we approached the planet. I turned back, and quickly created a psychic shield, and floated even faster towards our destination. As I entered the atmosphere, I felt my psychic barrier start to fade, so I strengthened it with even more energy. Because of the strain on me, I wished we could just teleport there, but we can not pinpoint a spot, because we do not know the geography of the planet, and teleporting might take us all the way to another planet, maybe even another galaxy.

As soon as we left the atmosphere, I smiled for the first time since I destroyed Earth, knowing I had accomplished something. But then I noticed how fatigued I was, and I started to lose consciousness. Before I plummeted to my death, I felt myself land on top of a giant, scaly, wet bird-like thing. I deduced that it was a Lugia before I lost it, failing to hold off my fatigue.

_____

I awoke I don't know how long after we arrived, and I looked around, noticing some strange, and familiar creatures around me.

"He's a Draco! He must be killed before the psychics get their hands on him!" a Hitmonlee screamed.

"What about these others? They're psychics, too!" another creature I couldn't see said.

"Kill them all!" ordered the Hitmonlee.

All the creatures nodded, and pounced at us, ready to draw blood, but there was a bright flash, and we were in what looked like a deserted human city. I looked around, and noticed some more creatures, these with cheerful expressions.

"Why did those creatures try to kill us?" I asked of them.

"Because they fear psychic types, we are the leaders of this world, but they wish to oppose us," one creature that I had never seen before said.

"So it's always like this?" I asked.

He nodded, and said, "Welcome to Terra."
