WARNING:

This is not a "Pokémon hate-fic". I have worked hard on this and flames should be done on people other than me if you feel like flaming. I am only saying this because it is violent from the beginning and it involves a lot of killing (heck, my favorite character was killed without "notice") and many people out there might take it the wrong way. I don't want to say this (I wish that I didn't need to say this) but if you are frightened the least bit by serious violence leave now. Forget this and read another story.

If I recieve a flame, spam, bomb, virus, trojan horse, death threat or voodoo curse, I will show it on the story and shame the person. Review constructively (if you're an author, ignore this bit:D).

The story will be shown at the end of this sentence, so leave if you are not going to take this the right way.

Prologue

The Master of Pokémon

Premise: It is 18 years in the future. Mewtwo has taken over the world, and the vast majority of all of the world's Pokémon, including those of the trainers, are following him...

Two groups of Humans, the League and the Community, are trying to eliminate Mewtwo as well as kill eachother, and nothing else exists in Humanity, not even Team Rocket, communism or capitalism... The edge of what we call "society"...

The Human population is decimating, almost to the level of anarchy, beyond the control of the League and the Community...

Insurrection red: Hello, FU. As a new member of this kind you should learn most things off by heart. New recruits...?
««««««§»»»»»»
Fun unleashed: 13 835, last time I checked. Most significant recruit Blastoise formerly of Ash Ketchum.
««««««§»»»»»»
Insurrection red:
Good. That makes... How much in our army as of yet?
««««««§»»»»»»
Fun unleashed: I'm not too sure. I'll bring in Cylindrical kind. That Exeggutor should know about those numbers more than I.
««««««§»»»»»»
Insurrection red:
Of course. What were those numbers? (Cylindrical kind-type Exeggutor enters under request of Insurrection red and Fun unleashed)
««««««§»»»»»»
Cylindrical kind: (recieves contents of previous speech...) Adding up, 8 682 183 638 340.
««««««§»»»»»»
Insurrection red: Okay. (Promotes Fun unleashed to novice) FU, you are chosen to be a novice-class psychic soldier to attack resisting pokémon. You may leave.
««««««
(Fun unleashed leaves the wave)
»»»»»»
Insurrection red: CK, how did FU know you? FU is just a beginner, FU shouldn't know about you.
««««««§»»»»»»
Cylindrical kind: He met me when I noticed something strange while watching the sky. An odd sort of... detached floating eye, staring blankly at me...
««««««§»»»»»»
Cylindrical kind: ...FU didn't seem to notice because Abras have a lack of visual strength... Some others saw it too, but FU thought that I was just staring passively staring at the sky so he talked to me and we introduced each other. FU must have monitored me while I was talking to NOT about the amount of humans killed.
««««««§»»»»»»
Insurrection red: Odd to have an eye, but I know what it is. Aliens, and they're quite similar to us. Perhaps there are some pokémon there.
««««««§»»»»»»
Cylindrical kind: Who are they, to be specific, and why are they looking at us?
««««««§»»»»»»
Insurrection red: (Plays psi-rec by Not Off-Topic-type Chansey) Information classified. To let you know would be to kill you.
««««««§»»»»»»
Cylindrical kind: Never mind, then. 'sighs' Will I know later?
««««««§»»»»»»
Insurrection red: Maybe. If they do anything stupid, I guess.
««««««§»»»»»»
Cylindrical kind:
Alright. Goodbye then, IR.

Ruins of Pokémon Mansion-about 15:00

28 year-old Ash Ketchum of the Community crouched on a fallen white pillar to rest for a few seconds, with a pokéball containing Pidgeot in one hand and a pokéball containing Ash's famous Kingler in the other. They were 2 of his 5 pokémon that he had left. The ruins of Cinnabar Island's Pokémon mansion were scattered everywhere, and the bodies of his so-called Community 'comrades' were scattered around him, little black dots present in many (if not most) parts of their body (according to Ash's perspective, they were obviously shot down with heavy automatics).

2 other armed Commuinity members noticed Ash and ran around Ash to cover him. Ash recognised them as the muscled 30 year-old Brock and his colleague, the 32 year-old Michelle.

"Jesus shit christ, Brock, I thought you were dead. And you too, Michelle."

Brock quietly nodded. Ash was meant to 'not go in until the screams and gunshots ended' and to expect to find a couple of League members left alive in the fray for Ash to kill.

"We are the last ones here," Michelle pointed out, raising a pistol to her surroundings, "we're leaving now."

Ash got up and turned his back from them, beginning to walk to his destination. "You could at least tell me what you're trying to do, now that nobody else is in the fray to listen in... At least nobody with ears left to listen with." It was Brock, looking at Ash with some concern.

Ash shook his head slowly, looking down at yet another league casualty. The man had shot through and sticking-up black hair with a sort of odd green sheen to it. You could see his face (spooky enough to most people, indeed), but his chest was shot through, exposing pieces of rib that had shot up from him and had now laid on his torso. The man looked like he had once been in his mid-thirties. Brock and Michelle did not recognise his face, but Ash seemed to know him.

"Who do you think he is?" Brock asked, trying not to look directly at the body (if you could call it that).

Ash didn't pay attention to Brock, but instead he lifted up the dead man's head, easily detaching the man's head from his shoulders. Ash held the man's head up horizontally so the bones in his head wouldn't fall out of the head's skin.

"So," Ash mumbled, "we meet again, AJ, but for the last time." Ash dropped the head on the ground and it landed with a soft 'thump' on AJ's torn corpse.

Ash then left, in an odd marching position and a cocked eyebrow above his right eye. Sometimes, Ash scared Brock. This was one of those times. Brock and Michelle stared up to where Ash walked off and eventually disapeered into the distance.

Ruins of Pokémon Mansion-about 16:30

Ash didn't care about Brock or Michelle anymore, they were going to leave and say that Ash had at least made it to where he needed to go safely. Who knows if I'm going to die, Ash mused, but my bloodlust for Ritchie's death keeps me going.

Ash remembered it well, when Ritchie directly challenged Mewtwo. Ritchie had died horribly, about 47 days ago now, when Mewtwo used his psychic. Catapulted up with Psychic and then catapulted the other way, to the ground, that was when Ritchie's neck broke.

That was how he died, but that was when all the others broke and his body tore apart... Ritchie's body was still probably with Mewtwo, with Mewtwo not giving a shit to clean the mess up, for it wasn't Pokemon... What Human would care about a dead fly, after all?... Ash shook a little, trying to stop thinking of what had happened. It was hard for Ash, though, to stop thinking; it made him more hysterical than he already was.

Suddenly, Ash froze. His head started ringing. Psychic power of some sort. He was there. Of course, that was what Ash had expected. This was meant to be where Mewtwo would stroll around pokémon mansion's ruins, according to his computer logs that were hacked into many a time. Mewtwo teleported in with a blazing sheen of white light that circled around his body as he materialised. He didn't expect to see Ash, of course, as a challenger wouldn't be something a pokémon would see every day. Ash's head started to ring irritatingly, because it was time for Mewtwo to talk to Ash...

««««««
Insurrection red: Ash. I should've known. That's your name, isn't it? ~Ash... Ketchum...
»»»»»»

"That's your nickname? Insurrection red?" Ash was crouching down, almost convulsing by the psychic communication that his head could hardly bear to stand. Ash raised his Pidgeot's pokéball in front of him as a meek sign of threat.

««««««
Insurrection red: You may as well give up and die. You know what happened to your friend, right? Let me remind you...
»»»»»»

Ash didn't know what Mewtwo meant until something flat teleported in front of IR, followed by the familiar smell of death growing ever stronger. It was stray red liquid, blood, that had dried and turned brown, most apparent in cracks left by rotting skin and shattered bones which clicked against each-other as they appeared. The head of the body was still visble (albeit barely), with hair torn in several places and one eye rotted out completely.

««««««
Insurrection red: I hope you can still recognise him. I noticed that if I put him with the other bodies he rots quicker.
»»»»»»

His hair was brown, yes, under all that blood, and his head was fairly small. Ash suddenly recognised him, or at least his rotten, torn corpse.

"Ritchie..." Ash stammered, shortly before he puked on the ground.

Ash seemed to glower with a billowing rage, ingnoring the inside-out feeling in his insides after he threw up. Ash raised his 2 pokéballs with his 2 remaining pokémon, one in each hand, criss-crossed his arms and sent the pokémon out. Kingler-and Pidgeot, a normal type, fairly strong against IR's attacks. Ash ignored the dead body. Now he was going to fight.

««««««
Insurrection red: That's all? Stupid for you, stuck up on revenge.
»»»»»»

Ash thought about what IR had said with a sudden sort of reality check. But Ash also knew better than to listen to IR now. IR was just trying to make him angrier so he would not concentrate. Ash sighed for a few seconds, lowering his head...

"Pidgeot, double edge! Kingler, hyper beam!"

Pidgeot pounced up to fly and swooped over to swipe IR with his sharp talons. Kingler quickly and hastily (for a Kingler) turned its pincers to IR, generating a beam of yellow light. The beam and Pidgeot were flying to IR's head at an extrordinary speed when-IR's eyes turned blue.

The yellow beam of seething light and heat energy shot vertically upwards, turned around in mid-air and devoured Pidgeot in its bright rays. Pidgeot was caught up in the expanding beam and rapidly torn apart to several pieces as the beam shot through. When the hyper beam ceased, Pidgeot was no more than a shredded skeleton surrounded by its white blood in such a state that now it was sort of a vapor, being so affected, so hot. As the blood condensed quickly, it began to precipitate on Pidgeot's black, charred remains.

Ash was too distracted by the sight of his dead friend at first to see what Mewtwo was doing to Kingler. By the time Ash refocused his attention, Kingler was being hurled up to the sky quickly.

"Kingler!"

But it was no use as Kingler disappeared into the air, past the atmosphere. IR shut off his psychic power. Ash could see, in the distance, the frozen and depressurised corpse of Kingler landing somewhere far off. Ash slowly turned to IR and swallowed phlegm, food and digestive acids-the familiar taste of yet more puke.

««««««
Insurrection red: What? Sure, you are a Pokémon master. But you are not The Master of Pokémon.
»»»»»»

The blue in Mewtwo's eyes turned to purple and, all of a sudden, a blackness appeared in Ash's eyes, from the center of his vision and growing. It grew like the aura of some migranes, but growing larger very quickly. Soon, Ash was blind, waving his arms at his eyes helplessly.

««««««
Insurrection red: Pathetic. This part will only take a minute, what will happen as a result of this will be long, though, so do not be reassured.
»»»»»»

Ash was, indeed, losing his power. A coldness enveloped Ash.

««««««
Insurrection red: I tried to kill you once. Now I will truly kill you, and you will suffer. With your own kind beside you. I know how much you hate that, Ash.
»»»»»»

Ash would've snorted if he wasn't convulsing. Ash blanked out in his world of pain...

Insurrection red:
The eye. Did I forget to tell you to come here to talk about it?
««««««§»»»»»»
Not off-topic: Think so. Let's go on topic. The eye... It appeared rather suddenly. I think it is the work of other pokémon.
««««««§»»»»»»
Psywave shock: I think that we should not pontificate-you know, wait for the eye to show what pokémon would do such a thing.
««««««§»»»»»»
Role player: NOT, How do you know that that particular object is the work of other pokémon?
««««««§»»»»»»
Not off-topic: RP, remember 18 years ago? Cle-fai-ry. That's right. They're back. They're neutral, remember, so the Humans used them to spy on us... And they may be doing it now.
««««««§»»»»»»
Other side: Everyone, how do you know it exists? It may be a mass hallucination or some sort of psychic trick the humans are playing on us.
««««««§»»»»»»
Psywave shock: Scary. However, such a thing has never happened before.
««««««§»»»»»»

««««««§»»»»»»
Not off-topic: OS, I can prove you wrong about the hallucination bit. There is a simple test I make to clarify if it was all a bunch of dreams/hallucinations. Everyone, was the eye black with a blue center pupil, and when you ran around it, it turned its eye to stare at you so you could not see behind it?
««««««§»»»»»»

Community post B8 under Indigo Plateau-about 11:00

28 year-old Ash Ketchum came to in a bed, in his dimly-lit room, which Ash could recognise with all sorts of decorations such as a poster with a Kingler on it, showing his authentic ownership of the "Kingler fan club" and a square picture blown up 2x2 of Ash having one arm over Violet's shoulder and the other making a 'peace' jesture. That was 10 years ago, before she was with the other 2 sisters of the Cerulean gym, only to be seperated from the Community with force of neverending "war". I lost my virginity on the same day that picture was taken, Ash thought with a grin.

Those were the days, Ash thought, remembering the last words he had said to Violet before she left with her 2 other sisters to live in the secure Cerulean gym to keep away from Mewtwo, which still echoed in his head, "I'll see you again, don't worry, I'll be fine." Then, because stupid people cried over rivals being better than they are in the League, and those people started up the Community with Team Rocket, mostly made up of people rivaling the league, people forced him to join before he knew what the Community was.

Ash thought it would get him to be the League champ, and they made it sound like that, then he realised that he was betraying Violet, althugh not Misty or Brock, who went in the Community with him. Then it was too late. Fuck the Community, Ash mused, if it weren't for the Community then we'd have all ganged up on Mewtwo and killed him by now.

So it was just a dream, Ash presumed, I am one fucked-up person to dream like that. But it seemed so real, for I never had a headache in a dream before... And when did I sleep? Better put some clothes on, Ash thought as he started to sit up when he seen something. It was on his bedside table. It was a card, with a cartoony version of Michelle's spectacled face on the print with her long brown hair, putting her gloved thumb up. There were big, bold and orange letters above her head: GET WELL SOON. Holy fucking shit, Ash realised, something really has happened to me!

League Main Base-about 13:30

62 year-old Blaine of the League sat down on a chair in a small room in custody, looking at Officer Jenny who was going to ask him some questions. Jenny raised up a pistol and put it on her side of the table.

"Blaine, where were you yesterday?"

Blaine's response was instant, sober and apparently truthful. "My quarters."

"Do you know anyone who fought in the pokémon mansion of Cinnabar Island?"

"Well, I know of AJ, Lorelei, Mandy and," Blaine shuddered while he muttered the name, "flight Cptn. Surge."

"From where do you know AJ, Lorelei, Mandy or Surge?"

Blaine was focused, or at least trying to bring himself together to focus himself. "Well, I know that AJ was the one chosen to fight Mewtwo, Lorelei is the first of the Elite 4, Mandy I know as my roommate in quarters and Surge-he shot me when he turned paranoid one day."

"Did he?" Officer Jenny was tapping her pen on the table.

"Yes. Is he in trouble now?"

Jenny shook her head. "Of course not. You want to know why? He's dead. They're all dead. The Community killed everyone in the fray with a surprise attack, and we're suspecting you of telling Brock, thought to lead the assault, where our army's weakness was."

Huh? Blaine was speechless, both at the fact that everyone in the League battle was killed by people in the Community and second, that he was suspected of being responsible of treason causing genocide. Blaine was about to slam his hand on the table and shout, "WHAT?!" but he didn't, fearing that it would be used against him.

Someone entered the room. It was another Officer Jenny. "Admiral Wolffe got some new evidence proving Blaine guilty. Kill him now.

Admiral Wolffe?! Blaine thought, almost jumping up. My former hated rival is a league police admiral?! He must simply want to get rid of me! Jenny picked up her gun from the table and aimed it at Blaine. No time to lose, Blaine thought as he ducked under the table when she fired.

Smoke from Jenny's pistol surrounded the room and Blaine quickly grabbed her legs from under the table while she was distracted, pulling Jenny down to the floor. As her legs were kicking and her gun looking for a target, Blaine crawled to her head and squeezed her chin with his hand. Blaine's arm surrounded Jenny's neck, twisting it until a gut-clenching "snap" was heard. She stopped struggling as a heralding sign of her death.

Blaine stood back up and picked up the dead Jenny's gun to find that the other Jenny was gone (probably off to call reinforcements, Blaine reckoned). Must escape while I can, Blaine thought hastily as he looked to his right and left. The league is no longer for me now. In front of Blaine, a door was open to an open window, open to the outside, open to freedom... To some extent.

Blaine backed off one step, then charged toward the window, exiting with one swan dive. Fortunately, it was only the ground floor, so Blaine landed with a skid on the ground, snow not yet dotting the plateau. Looking behind him, Blaine slowly walked away, looking at the huge, octagonal HQ fortress as he backed off, when he suddenly tripped.

Blaine fell backwards down a slight slope. The ground felt slippery to Blaine's feet because the slope was apparently too steep. Suddenly, Blaine was rolling down the slope sideways, unable to balance himself back up. Blaine could see the slope leading to a ledge off a cliff in the plateau, and the chances were that it was a long way down. That was when Blaine no longer felt the ground below him.

Blaine rolled off the ledge, falling, falling... Blaine felt ground-and it greeted him with pain and a crushing sensation that reverberated through his body but didn't break anything, oddly enough. Blaine landed with his face pointed to the air, conciously unaware that he didn't fall the whole way but was actually lying down on a ledge leading to a dead-end cave when his world went black. The last thing Blaine thought before he went out cold was: Hey, I'm good for my age...!

Community post B8 under Indigo Plateau-about 15:30

Content and expectant, the Clefairy kept typing commands to the eye in the underground cave, which looked out of place with the huge gray bulk of computing beside the keyboard where Clefairy kept typing in commands. 30 year-old Misty of the Community was right behind Clefairy, and not nearly as calm.

This was a risky plan from the start, Misty thought. Think, right under the Indigo plateau. Did the Clefairy HAVE to live there when the Community found them? Right under the Indigo plateau. Right under the League's HQ. Misty was quite deep under, but she still didn't feel safe enough to holster her old Cougar magnum, aimed at the ceiling, where the trap entrance was. Misty turned her head around to where Clefairy was, still aiming her gun at the ceiling.

"Anything new yet since last time, Clefairy?" Misty asked, anxious as always.

"Cle-fairy," Clefairy acknowledged, shaking his head.

Misty turned back to the hole in the cave. Suddenly, her beeper rang in the outside of her pant pocket. Misty grabbed her mobile phone from her pocket. Leaning the phone on her shoulder, she pressed the answering button.

"Hello." It was James' voice.

Misty sighed. James made Misty wish that she wasn't too busy to simply leave the area. He used to be perfectly able to go out with Misty, and James himself didn't have much to do; all he had was a day-job as a guard.

"Yes?" Misty answered, wondering which day she was free.

"Something's happened to Ash. You know Ash, Right? If you could just take the time to visit him, you've been invited."

Ash? Misty wondered, suddenly distracted from her work as a full-time guard. Back this early? From Mewtwo?

"Umm... I'll be there. Where did you find him?"

"Mary found him. You know, Mary Kelly. She found him uncouncious and in the underground. Nobody knows how he got there, or what happened to him, but his condition is rather unknown and his pokémon are gone."

Silence. Silence to register was needed for Misty. She knew Ash for more than half her life as a good friend, someone to try to right what was wrong, a great trainer... And she eventually got a new bike from him, too, after he had wrecked one the first time he had met her. Minutes passed.

"I'll be there 24 hours from now, exactly," Misty finally complied and shut down the phone, putting it back into her pocket and hastily getting back to work with the aim at the trap entrance.

Indigo plateau-about 19:00

38 year-old Cdr. Daisy of the League, the eldest of the Cerulean sisters, held her pistol in one hand and the pokéball of her last remaining pokémon, Dewgong, in her other hand, strutting ahead of the base with about 10 shock troopers not too far behind her, toting their light machine guns and portable search lights around to the rythm of her walking, used to the weight of their riot gear and the helmets attached to it all. They had come outside after searching around the base for hours, checking out any hiding place.

"Hey, Commander, I think it's getting dangerous now to walk any further!"

Whoever behind her said that, he/she was right. There was a cleverly placed slope from both sides of the Indigo plateau to prevent people escaping on foot. Daisy, thinking about the slope, stopped, and the troops came to a halt behind her.

"It's a long way down," one of the troops confirmed, "we can safely say that Blaine is dead."

Daisy was about to turn to whoever said that to nod in agreement, but she was halted when she slipped and fell, rolling down the artificial slope at a fast speed. One of the troops tried to go after her when he was halted by another trooper, who simply shook his head when he looked towards him.

***

Blaine came to on the ledge where he had blacked out, with all he had, which was a gun and his hope that the League wouldn't find him. So far, they had seemed to have lost him, so Blaine seemed to be safe. Blaine stood up and yawned, bringing out his gun as he turned around to where a hole leading inside the plateau towards a dead end showed up.

Perhaps I could get to the Community, Blaine thought, wherever they are. Blaine took his first few steps to the dead end when he got up, aiming his gun around him when-SNAP! The ground broke below Blaine and he fell through a long diagonal tunnel and the only way to get out-was down. Blaine went extremely fast, and he was lying down as he slid through. This is sudden! Blaine thought, nearly having a heart attack.

***

Daisy fell off the ledge with sudden fear that she would die. Vertigo set in as she lost the feeling of the ground against her, she lost grip of her Dewgong's pokéball and gravity pulled her down to get smashed to death by the force of gravity below-but to no avail, as she landed on a strange-looking ledge, not believing her luck as she lay down on the ledge leading out into the plateau. Standing up dizzily, Daisy brought out her gun, unbelievably still there. Dewgong, the last of Daisy's pokémon, was gone now, but that didn't matter to Daisy, as long as she was safe. Looking at the ground below, Daisy took 2 steps back...

***

Blaine wondered where he would end up with nervous expectance, staring into total darkness as he kept sliding feet first. Suddenly, he heard another person sliding down as he heard another sliding sound other than his, and the other person was screaming. It was the voice of a woman, and Blaine didn't recognize it.

A flashlight on someone was automatically turned on, and Blaine looked behind him to see the a woman in her 30s with a League shirt and a wrist-mounted light, letting her see Blaine. She was sliding down and looked as surprised as Blaine was. He recognised her as Daisy, the oldest of the 3 Cerulean sisters, and she was armed with a pistol, most likely looking for him.

Blaine straightened his back, making him slide faster. However, Daisy stopped screaming when she seen him as a sign of recognition, so it was too late to go fast, now Blaine had to go faster. Daisy was going down at too tricky an angle to aim her pistol, so she simply straighened her posture as she fell, catching up with Blaine. Daisy's posture was much more aligned than Blaine's, so she quickly caught up with him, legs at his head.

Daisy lowered her feet around his shoulders, then clenched them tightly around his neck. Blaine dropped his gun and used both of his hands to try to force the legs apart. Daisy was not budging though, except for her feet, which were twisting around, trying to break Blaine's neck. Thinking it up, Blaine hastily tugged at the lower parts of both of Daisy's pant legs. Daisy tipped over from the force, and found herself on top of Blaine, holding on to his pants and pulling him down to tumble with her.

This sent both of them rolling in a ball, hurling dirt around them with scarpering arms and legs and both of them flailing for Daisy's gun, with Blaine trying to grasp it and aim it at Daisy's head and Daisy trying to do the same-
