{Noon one day after the missions have been given out}
Sunlight shone down on the route 37. The harsh light of the noonday sun irritated Kiersta Streams. Being a water type, the heat started to severely dehydrate her. However, one of her two companions, Jennifer Flora the grass focus holder, loved the added sun. The bellossom reveled in the light, skipping down the path. Sidney Bane the poison focus holder, her other companion, was having almost the same amount of trouble. The muk was starting to harden, due to the lost of moisture. *I cannot stand this infernal heat any longer. I'm using Rain Dance, * she said. *Fine, but I'm keeping the sun. Solar Reflector, * Jennifer said.
{Attack: Solar Reflector Type: (Grass) At: 0 Ar: 100% Sunlight is reflected to the user by four large spinning leaves regardless of weather conditions. This allows grass type moves to be powered up with out helping the opponent like sunny day does. Thunder, lightning storm, and thunder break accuracy drops by 50%. The user can't be frozen. }
The green leaves created a screen above her, focusing the intense sunlight even more. *Ready when you are, * she said with a smile. Kiersta shrugged and raised her arms to the sky. Dark angry clouds formed above her as her eyes started to glow blue. A navy blue aura surrounded her, rippling like a bubble as the hot still air began to smell like rain. *Um, you might not want to put that much energy into this. We want a small shower, not a torrential downpour, * Sidney said nervously. The wind started to pick up as the storm prepared to break. *Rain Dance! * Kiersta screamed as the rain started to poor down. The dusty path was drenched in seconds. But the area was dry around Jennifer. She was standing in a column of sunlight. The leaves were glowing white and spinning around her in a circle, creating a clear spot just above her. *Let's go, * said to a happy golduck and a rather annoyed muk. *First I dehydrate, now I'm going to drown, * Sidney muttered as the trio started north to Ecruteak City.
The minute the trio entered the city however; they knew there was something wrong. The city was filled with rockets. They were hurrying out of the rain, but still in the entrance of every building, they stood. *Uh oh! I read the report on these guys, * Sidney said as they ducked into some trees across from the local pokemon center. *Their bad news for pokemon. We'll get further if we are human, * he continued. *Ok, let's do it, * Krista said.
Rain fell like tears from heaven, filling the air around the golduck with added moisture. A large round puddle of water formed underneath her. In it the symbol for water types torrent. The rain stopped falling and hovered around her. The puddle rose up in a waterspout and the drops were sucked in. The blue fluid collapsed to form a opaque blue bubble of energy, which popped to reveal a 19-year-old girl with short blue hair the just reached her neck and red eyes. She was wearing a dark blue life vest, black diver pants, and blue sandals.
The trees above them rustled with the wind. The leaves that fell were pulled to the bellossom. Petals and cherry blossoms magically joined the spinning leaves. The whirling plant matter formed the symbol Timeless in the air in front of her for a second, then it span around her forming a dome. The dome collapsed and in a flash of dark green energy and a rustle of leaves a 30-year-old woman appeared. She was wearing a dark green ball gown and matching elbow length gloves. Her dark green-black hair was done in two ponytails and tied with flower shaped bows. Her black looked out with calm amusement.
Black smog obscured the muk's form. The noxious gas dripped acid on the ground, burning the symbol Hazard into the ground. Out of this rut, purple glowing slime rose up. It consumed the haze and formed a sphere in mid air. In a flash of light purple radiation, a somewhat chubby 36-year-old man appeared. He had neck length purple black hair and a goatee. He was wearing a light purple low radiation suit, with dark purple gloves and black boots. His black eyes had hint of suppressed excitement.
"Alright, now we will find out what's going on," said Sidney.
Henry was having a very bad day. First the science division was having severe problems with the test subjects, and for allowing an intruder for finding the base the boss yelled him at and finally when he was going to go on a picnic to relax, it started to rain! "Spinner, my day couldn't get any worse," he said to his spider pokémon. He sighed and leaned on the counter of the pokémon center. *Well it could actually. The boss could give you an assignment, * he said. As soon as he said that, Henry's partner, Starr walked into the door of the pokémon center. She closed her umbrella, and walked up to her partner. "Henry, the boss called. He said that he wanted an experiment done on that electric pokémon and wants us to be there. "You just had to say something didn't you," he said. Spinner didn't answer him, he just recalled himself. Henry picked up his pokémon's poké ball and left the center with his partner, putting on a black raincoat as he did. The two white shirts walked through the rain to the brunt tower. Had they been more aware they would have noticed the three people that were following them through the moderate drizzle.
Sidney, Kiersta, and Jennifer stood inside of the burnt out tower. They had noticed Starr's white uniform and correctly guessed that she was at a higher rank the other rockets they saw running about. They had entered a few minutes after Henry and Starr. However, the found that all of the halls leading out of the main foyer were blocked off by brunt debris. This was confusing, because there was no sign of the two rockets either. "They couldn't have vanished," Jennifer said. "Perhaps there is a hidden passage out of here," said Sidney. "That's ridiculous," Kiersta said as she leaned against a statue. A moment later, the statue of a magmar slid in its hidden grooves opening a hidden hatch in the floor. The three focus holders looked down the hidden looked down the ladder. "Ladies first," Sidney said.
The trio reached the bottom of the ladder and looked around in surprise. What was once a simple basement was now a huge geo-front. Metal support structures crossed the ceiling from a large metal column in the center of the dome. The center of the dome was a bowl with the column sticking out. A ledge ran around the circumference of the chamber. A large in one wall there was a small door with a large red R painted on it. All three looked at the card reader next to the door. "Ok, now what?" Kiersta asked. Sidney said, "Kiersta, you and Jennifer change back into pokémon. Jennifer will eat through the door with acid." "And what will you be doing all this time?" Kiersta asked. "Providing a distraction," Sidney said.
Henry stared at each security monitor with a bored expression on his face. To him this was another tedious assignment. Team Rocket had completely sealed off Ecruteak City. The only resistance was at the Tin Tower and when the project was complete, that would be dealt with. Suddenly alarms started to go off for the main gate. He calmly looked into the monster and saw black smoke fill the main entrance way. "Attention all rocket members, we have a intruder alert in the main entrance way. Please intercept," he said in a monotone. (What a tiresome assignment,) he thought.
{Sidney's POV}
Acid Armor was very useful. The hole that Jennifer made was very small. The smoke from the smog attack was just to confuse the rockets. I dropped the girls of at different points. I was going to see if there were any non-rockets in the base. I traveled down many corridors as puddle. No one looked down. I slipped under a door with a sign saying contraband. I looked around at the rows of poké balls. Walking as a human I took each ball and placed them in a sack I had created out of poison energy. When I had finished that I noticed a large case in the back of the room. Melting the sack with Acid Armor and pulling into my self for temporary storage as I walked to the case. I opened it to find a laptop computer and a backpack. "I wonder what is on this," I thought aloud. Opening the device, I turned on the power.
ATTENTION, IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN THIS LAPTOP IS STOLEN. MY OWNER JARED MURASAME IS HERE: the monitor displayed a location using GPS. (That must be the prison,) I thought. I closed it and placed it in the backpack. Opening the door, I looked around the hall for any more rockets. Since all was clear, I walked down the hall. Following the map I had saw I quickly came to a hall. At the end of it was a room guarded by two rockets. I placed the backpack on my back, and created a sludge bomb in my hands. Bowling it down the hall, it grew bigger as it approached the two surprised gangsters. It hit them and the door and exploded before they could do anything. Walking through the slime, I entered the busted door. I walked slowly down the open hall, looking into each cell as I did. All were empty except for the one at the very end. In it was a ten-year-old boy with spiky brown hair. He was wearing a tan short sleeve shirt with blue jeans and black sneakers. His black eyes looked at Sidney with disgust and annoyance. "What do you want rocket," he said. "One, I am not a rocket, two I'm going to set you free," I said.
In a few minutes, I released the boy and returned his bag and pokémon. He still didn't completely trust me, but he was willing to work with me to get out. "Now that you have your supplies and you friends, let's introduce ourselves. I'm Sidney Bane," I said. He looked surprised by my words for a second, and then said, "I'm called Jared Murasame." "Well mister Bane and young mister Murasame, it looks like you both will be permanent guests of Team Rocket," said a female voice behind us. We turned to look at the door in surprise.
{Jennifer's POV}
I ran through ventilation duct after ventilation duct, looking for anything interesting. I stopped and looked out of one grate to see some words painted on a door across from it. The words were Main Research Lab. (That seems interesting enough,) I thought. I used Razor Leaf to cut a hole in the metal and in the door. Jumping in the hole I released a cloud of spores in a Spore attack. I looked around and noticed that the part of the lab I had entered was empty. (Whoops!) I looked around the lab at things the shimmered and pointed. A lot of the equipment I could see as I walked looked like medieval torture devices than scientific equipment. I walked into a room labeled main testing area. What I found shocked me. In transparent boxes were two of the three legendary cats, Suicune and Entei. Entei looked mad enough to burn the entire complex down, and Suicune looked out with a tired but pained expression. *Hey are you two all right? * I asked. "We are fine, little one. But it is our brother, Raikou that we are worried about," Suicune said calmly. "Those the rockets experiment on are never the same," Entei said calming down a bit. *Let's get you out and find Raikou, * I say looking around for a release. Seeing one on a panel to my right, I use a Vine Whip to reach it and pull it down. Both of the boxes open at the top and the roofless walls slid into the ground.
"Thanks little one, but your kind doesn't normally learn vine whip does it?" Suicune asked walking toward me. As I was about to respond, a roar ripped through the lab. "RAIKOU!" Entei and Suicune said together. Entei tore off toward the sound, and I just managed to jump on Suicune as she followed. We rushed past more scientific equipment till we saw a metal door ahead. Entei just blasted it open with a huge Fire Blast. *Remind me not to make him mad, * I tell Suicune as we leap through the smelted ruins. We paused in horror the minute we did however. On each side of the hall we were in there were cages in the wall like the ones I found Suicune and Entei in. Inside were pokémon. But the condition they were in was deplorable. Pokémon were crammed into the small cages and all of them had not been cleaned in ages. Some had awful scars, like a chinnchou was missing an eye and a slowpoke that had a huge gash on its side.
*Hold on, I'll get you out in a second, * I said.
"Rakiou?" Suicune asked cautiously. I understood her hesitation. He was now covered in sliver armor. The glimmering metal covered most of his legs and torso. His tail, lower face and feet were visible. He was wearing a helmet with a small antenna and a black visor coved his eyes. Yellow glowing eyes appeared in that sea of darkness as the voice from before order him to attack.
{Kiersta's POV}
I stood in front of the main control room ready to make my move. (Subtle or forceful?) I asked my self. Inside several rocket's worked on different computers. Some monitored different parts of the complex, while others controlled basic operations. One rocket was crossing the door to the highly armored and secure door to the room it blew off its hinges and fell on him. I step through the door, and used disable, effectively stopping all of the rockets in the circular room. I noticed a door in the back of the room, but paid no attention to it as I proceeded to knock all of them unconscious. With that done, I set the bases electric core to overload and self-destruct. But I should have watched my back. "Spinner, Spider Web!" said a voice behind me.
I jumped to the side as a net of sticky silk flew and covered the console I was at. Turning I saw one of the rockets that we had followed in. "You must have a trainer, otherwise you won't be here. When I capture you he or she will come looking," the 18 year old in the black hat said. *Sorry, but no one can capture me, * I reply. *Hydrogen Strike! * I yell throwing my hand forward toward the spider.
{Attack: Hydrogen Strike type: (Water) At: 180 Ar: 95% Moisture is gather around the user. Water is shot forward in a spinning column. It acts like a drill as it smashes into a target. Lowers targets defense by one level. }
Spinner was knocked pass his trainer and back into the observation room from which they had come. I ran out the room as I heard the sound of a poké ball opening.
{Jennifer's POV}
We stood in watched in anticipation as Rakiou charged up an electric attack. Jumping down from Suicune's back, I landed in front of the other two legendary cats. *Take Root, * I said just as he released a Spark attack. The wave of electric energy surged across the arena, fusing the very sand into glass as it blasted it away. It hit me, and was immediately canceled out.
{Attack: Take Root type: (Grass) At: - Ar: 100% Roots are sent down in to the ground. Not only does this heal the user for as long as they are rooted, electric attacks are made useless and defense is increased by two levels. Also any move that does damage to both the user and the opponent only hurts the opponent. The user cannot use physical attacks without canceling the effects.}
I smirked at everyone's surprised expressions. *Suicune, Entei, get out of here, I'll take care of Rakiou, * No sooner than I said that then a voice started on the loud speakers. "ATTENTION ALL PERSONAL, ATTENTION ALL PERSONAL, THE MAIN ELECTRIC CORE HAS PASSED ITS SAFTY LIMITS. PLEASE EVACUATE. PLEASE EVACUATE. 20 MINTUES TO SELF-DESTRUCT." (Not good, not good at all,) I thought.
{Sidney's POV}
Jared and I stared down the female rocket member in a white shirt. She was one of the people I had followed in. "Jared, on my mark I want you to run for it. But first I need you to distract her," I asked him. Jared nodded, and then enlarged a poké ball. "Let's go lady!" Jared said with a smile. "Fine if you want to waste both are time. I will start with my strongest pokémon first. Come out Sunny!" Starr threw out a poké ball, which open in a flash of white light to reveal a handsome espeon. The espeon was a purple colored pokémon with a red ruby on its forehead and a tail that split at the end. It still had large eevee ears, but didn't have a ruff like the over eeveevolutions. "Sunny, Psychic!" Starr commanded as Jared called out his pokémon. "Go for it, Darkon!" He cried, releasing his umbreon. The psychic energy dissipated harmlessly around the dark type. "Hey, that's no fair, attacking before you opponent is ready!" Jared yelled, "Darkon, Pursuit!" "Team Rocket never plays fair, we never fight fair, and we never deal fair. Sunny, Hyper Beam!" Darkon may have had the type advantage, but Sunny was at a higher level. His Hyper Beam was faster and more powerful then the Pursuit attack. The glowing orange white ray fired from the ruby and smashed the dark type back to Jared's feet. "Her espeon took out all my pokémon before. If you are going to do something do it now," Jared said, recalling his fainted pokémon.
I made my move then. I created a Chemical Bomb behind my back and threw it between Jared, Sunny and the rocket lady. It burst to create a black cloud that obscured the battlefield. The espeon psychically cleared the room, but we had run by both of them. "Sunny, come on! We can't let them escape!" *Right, just let me catch my breath, I don't feel well, * He said.
{Attack: Chemical Bomb type: (poison) At: 190 Ar: 100% A sphere of various poisons appears in the users "hands". It is thrown near the target/s where it bursts. A black cloud envelops them. 50% of being poisoned, and a 15% of being badly poisoned}
"What! It looks like you have been poisoned. Return!" Starr said to her pokémon. The rocket pulled out another poké ball and gave chase. Meanwhile, Jared and I were backtracking to the entrance of the base. As we ran, I got the strange feeling that we were being followed. Turning I saw Starr running us down with an umbreon of her own. "Fallia, Pursuit!" Starr ordered. The dark pokémon rushed us, darkness energy surrounding her as she as she charged us. Jared tossed out another pokémon as we ran. "Go for it, Clara!" He said as the poké ball opened to reveal a clefable, a fairy like moon pokémon. Clara was ready for orders at the exact moment when Starr and Fallia reached us.
The Pursuit attack hit me in the small of my back knocking me down. The umbreon flipped off of me to avoid a Tri Attack from Clara. Landing perfectly, she vanished in a Faint Attack. Clara braced herself for impact as Fallia hit her from the left side, throwing her into the right wall of the hallway. Clara responded by firing an Ice Beam at her, sending her back into the left wall a great deal colder than before. The two adversaries stared each other down. *Not bad, I didn't expect this much resistance out of you, * Fallia said calmly. *Thanks, I think, * mumbled Clara. Suddenly we heard a message saying that the base was going to self-destruct in 20 minutes. Jared and I exchanged glances as he helped me to my feet. "Clara, sing!" *Right! * Clara said forcefully. She began to sing a beautiful lullaby. Fallia turned sleepy the collapsed in sleep. Jared and Starr recalled their pokémon. We turned and ran again as she pulled another poké ball from her belt. "You won't get away!" She screamed, chasing us again.
{Kiersta's POV}
I dodged the nightshade from the haunter. I retailed with a Bubblebeam, but I missed when the ghost flew into the ceiling of the hall outside of the main control room. "Phantom, keep her busy while I try to fix what she did," Henry said seriously. *Alright if you say so, * Phantom replied. Taking advantage of the momentary lapse of concentration, I used Psychic. A blue aura surrounded both of us as I crushed Phantom with powerful brain waves. Throwing the ghost aside, I charged the Rocket at the controls. He ducked underneath by scratch attack, rolling back and calling out another pokémon.
"Time to fight, Slither!" Henry said. The Arbok appeared in a flash of white light. *I see it is time to awe the masses with my presence, * said the purple cobra. *I'm less then impressed, * I said with a frown. A Surf attack soon followed my words. But the snake just dug under the floor before it could hit him. However, the main control panel was still in the way. Electric sparks and flashes of light exploded off of the panel as it shorted out. I leapt out of the door in a forward roll, avoiding the Dig and ran for the main entrance. "After her!" Henry screamed when he say the mess the controls were in.
{Jennifer's POV}
"I'm not leaving till Rakiou is free," said Entei. "Me nether," Suicune said annoyed. *Fine, * I shouted as I jumped over Rakiou's Quick Attack uprooting myself. Landing as he skid around in a turn. *Razor Leaf" I cry as I throw two bladed leafs, at the large electric tiger. They cross each other as the whistle through the air. Suddenly two guns rise up out of the amour on his shoulders. Two white-hot lasers disintegrate the leafs in mid air. (Electric lasers?) I ponder. The two blasters open fire on me as I begin a Sun Dance.
{Attack: Sun Dance Type: (Grass) At: - Ar: 100% the special dance said to call the sun. Evasion and speed is maxed out as long as the attack is going on. However, the user cannot do attack while doing this. }
Every duck, spin, jump, and graceful turn foiled the lasers and kept me intact. However, they were getting more and more accurate every shot. Landing after a neat sidewise flip, I noticed he had a bead on me. The next shot was going to hurt. Before he fired, Entei charged him from the side, throwing him into the wall. Entei fired an Ember at him, but he bounded into the air away form the fireball. Electricity blasted off him in another Spark, shocking the brave fire lion back. I concentrated my last bit of sunlight with my power. *Suicune, could you and Entei by me some time? * I asked. "We'll try, * she said running into battle as a dark green aura surrounded me.
{Sidney's POV}
"FITEEN MINTUNES TO CORE OVER LOAD!" said the loudspeakers. "Sparky, Thunderbolt!" Starr yelled to her jolteon. "Sarah, Razor Leaf!" Jared said to his meganium. The yellow green dinosaur like pokémon released a storm of deadly greenery from the flower around its neck. But the speed spiny electric type fired a huge bolt of electricity to fry the plant. The bolt passed through the leaf cloud, and both pokémon were hit with each other's attacks. The electricity didn't harm Sarah as much as the Razor Leaf did harm Sparky. However, a critical hit didn't put the electric eeveevolution down for the count. "Sparky, Pin Missile!" Starr commanded with a laugh. *I don't see why she's so happy. It's not like I am going to win, * Sparky said as he launched a storm of pins. The bug attack did a serious amount of damage to the grass type. "Sarah, Hyper Beam quick" Jared said to his weakening pokémon. Just as she fired it two shapes crossed her path.
{Kiersta's POV}
(That blasted crobat. She was too fast.) I thought. That rocket had switched when he released the snake couldn't keep up with me. I sensed an increase of power ahead. I put on a burst of speed and avoided a Confuse Ray that hit just behind me. I burst out of my corridor and crossed between a jolteon and a meganium. A felt a Hyper Beam pass behind me. Looking around I found that both the crobat and the jolteon were knocked out. The crobat's trainer arrived and recalled her. Another rocket trainer called back her jolteon. I looked back at the meganium who was returned to a kid, who was standing by Sidney. "Hi, Streams. Nice for you to join us," Sidney said.
{End POV}
"We have yet to introduce ourselves. So don't think you have won," Starr said, "Let's do it!"
"To blast the world with dedication,"
"To conquer all people within every nation,"
"To renounce the principles of truth and remorse,"
"To denounce the world without a recourse,"
"Henry!" exclaimed the male rocket.
"Starr!" exclaimed the female rocket.
"Team rocket, flying in to the night,"
"Give in now or lose,"
"Eevee!" said Starr's eevee that she just released.
*Nice, but let's end this little skirmish, * Kiersta said using Hydro Pump. The eevee used Double Team with any orders. The water passed through an image harmlessly. "Elvira, Body Slam!" Starr said. The small brown pokémon leapt up and landed on Kiersta, crushing to the ground her using velocity and body mass. The attack paralyzed the golduck. "Good, now use Double Edge!" Starr said joyously. Elvira jumped off Kiersta and landed a fair distance away. Dashed toward the down pokémon, she hoped to finish the battle. Suddenly water surrounded the golduck obscuring her from view. A trident made of semi-transparent blue crystal slashed out of the pillar of water. Knocking the eevee back toward her trainer. The water exploded out in a massive wave along with Kiersta's voice screaming "Tsunami!"
{Attack: Tsunami Type: (Water) At: 200 Ar: 100% A large wave of water is sent roaring across the ground. This attack produced more water the surf and can't be used outside of battle.
Attack: Poseidon's Wrath Type: (Water) At: 550 Ar: 100% A double headed trident is created out of moisture in the air. Powerful water attacks can be used with it.

As the water dissipated leaving the rockets unconscious on the ground Kiersta's human form could be seen. "Just don't stand there gawking, let's go!" She said to the two males.
The group of three watched as a huge explosion ripped out of the forest between Brunt Tower and Tin Tower. Electric energy and fire rose in the air, painting the cloudy sky red. "I feel that we are forgetting something," Sidney said. Kiersta thought for a moment. (We have the two rockets we beat. We rescued all of the prisoners. And all of the others evacuated and were caught by the police. So what could be missing?) She wondered. The idea hit them both at the same time; they had left Jennifer behind!
{Jennifer's POV}
The base exploded. Luckily, the battle had been carried outside of the base. Unluckily, we were not winning. Suicune had been knocked out. She was lying on the steps of Tin Tower next to me. Entei and Raikou were dueling in front of the steps. I still have not had the chance to use my attack. Entei's Flamethrower and Raikou's enhanced Thundershock collided. The fire and electricity pushed against each other, even until a burst of power exploded from Raikou's armor overpowering the fire and finally knocking Entei out. The legendary now focused on me. Still charging I couldn't move. He crouched to pounce on me light gleaming of the dented and scorched armor. But as soon as he jumped a huge blast of fire blasted him back. The Legendary bird Ho-oh landed next to me with her cry. "Now!" she said.
I nod and release my stored energy, not in a solar beam, blast or explosion, but in my ultimate attack.
{Attack: Earth to Sky Type: (Grass) At: 1120 Ar: 100% Power is sent through the ground in any direction from a straight line to a circle for up to a distance of three miles. Trees rip and other plants rip up from the ground and bloom. A huge amount of solar energy is released into the air afterwards. Total devastation results. Takes a while to charge. }
Raikou was caught on some rising trees. Light exploded from the new born forest as I screamed, *Earth to Sky! *
{End POV}
A huge dome of light could be seen for a few seconds, about ten minutes from after the explosion around Tin Tower. The dome however, exploded into a column and vanished leaving behind an over grown tower and a forest inside of a huge crater. The focus holders, the legendaries and Jared watched from the top as police investigated the area.
*Sorry about all of that. Especially you Raikou, sorry about hitting you that hard, * Jennifer said. "That's all right. I'm just now glad to be free," Raikou said a bit battered. "Well I am just annoyed that my tower is over grown," Ho-oh said. "Anyway, we came all of this way to ask you four a question. Kain's back and we may need your keys," Sidney asked. "Sure, that little blob jumped us a few months back. When we woke up, those Team Rocket fools had captured us," Entei said. "That is interesting," Jared said. "According to the files I got from that base, they just found you three in crater a few miles north of tin tower. However this Kain person is, he must be strong. I would like to meet him."
"I agree only because I have a feeling that it my be necessary to do this. You will need this power," Ho-oh said.
Entei roared as fire consumed him. A sparkling of fiery energy appeared before him. The energy and fire condensed to form a small badge in the shape of a half-globe. On the earth key was the Greek letter ß, or beta.
Water flowed around Suicune as she concentrated. A point of moisture formed in front of her. The fluid concentrated to form a badge in the shape of a crescent moon. The Greek letter ?, or gamma was on the moon key.
Electric energy surrounded Raikou as he called his power into being. A pulsing ball of electric energy was created in front of him. The electric force called forth the star key. The Greek letter d, or delta was on the white four-point star.
