The storm raged through the forest, shaking the trees and washing the sky, leaving a dull gray behind. Evan Norman, formally Evan Commons was sitting in a large hollowed out tree with his friends and fellow circle members, Minda Etom and Alton Stoner. He and Minda were still pokemon, but Alton was human due to the fact his pokemon form couldn't fit in a tree and couldn't handle water.
*Hey guys, I think the storm is passing, * He said looking out at the clouds. *Why, you're right. The rain is getting lighter, * his butterfree companion said fluttering down next to him. A few seconds later, the rain completely stopped. *Hey mister Stoner, the rain stopped, * Evan said.
"Don't call me mister. Ether Alton or Stoner will do, * Alton said, walking out from the back of the tree. He was huge brown skinned man, seven feet tall and eleven inches, all muscle. He had spiky gray hair and a beard. He had black eyes and was wearing a brown muscle shirt, gray sweat paints, and brown hiking boots. *Ok, mister Alton, sir, * Evan said nervously, the much smaller jigglypuff looking up at the huge man. "Let's get going," Alton said with a sigh. He picked up Evan and walked out, Minda flying behind him.
Now that the storm was over the forest was a much more cheerful place. The small group moved though Viridian Forest with Minda in the lead. They were going to use her pokedex Susan to access information on the pokemon league. She leading them back to the clearing wear she had hid all of here stuff in a tree.
Evan started to sing in the cloudy afternoon, happy to be going somewhere and doing something. *Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere. With Trouble brewing and Laughter in the air, * he started, but was shushed by Minda who heard a noise.
*Listen, * she said *I heard some one cry out over there. * She pointed and antenna at some near by bushes. "Stone Hammer," Alton cried forming a large war hammer from the stones of the ground.
{Attack: Stone Hammer Type: Rock At: 550 Ar: 100% A hammer-like weapon is formed from rock. A human to use rock type moves more efficiently uses it.}
The hammer's pole was a smooth gray, with streams of mica and marble running around it. The head was a huge obsidian block, with the symbol for rock types on each of the diamond striking faces. "Let's check it out," he said. He grabbed it from the air in front of him were it was floating sideways with his right hand. Placing Evan on one broad shoulder, He held his weapon with both hands and moved off the path, Minda following him.
What they found was a girl stuck in a net in a tree. Lying on the ground beneath her was a green beret, a sketchpad and a forest green backpack. She looked over to them and said "Hey mister, could you help me down. I was minding my own business when this net caught me." "Hey Norman, could you get the rope with a Cut attack?" Alton asked. Evan replied by jumping off of his shoulder doing several flips and ending off by jumping and cutting through the rope holding the net up with a sideways chop. He landed on his feet without a sound, as the girl fell. She was caught by Minda's confusion attack, and gently lowered the rest of the way.
A few minutes passed and girl had straitened her cloths. She was wearing a forest green button short sleeve shirt, black jean shorts and white sneakers. She had curly red hair and was wearing a green beret on top of it. She had placed her sketchpad in her backpack. "My name is Ann," she said introducing her self, her brown eyes studying them closely. "I am a pokemon watcher and artist. And I must say thanks."
"No problem. Well I must be going on my way," The big man said. Minda landed on his head and Evan hopped back on his right shoulder as he turned to go. "Um, wait. I never got your name?" she said with a frantic note in a voice. "Name's Alton Stoner," He said walking away. (He seems nicer then he lets on. His pokemon are kind of young, just entering the maturing stage. But they also look very strong. I wonder where he is going.) The 13-year-old thought, then she followed them.
"So were is this clearing?" Alton asked Minda. The butterfree lifted off his head, looked around, than floated of to the left into some trees. The two boys followed. As soon as they came through a bunch of trees, the found Minda floating in front of a huge net full of beedrill. *Who could have done something like this? * Minda asked the other two.
"We could!" exclaimed a male voice. "Allow us to introduce ourselves," said another female voice.
"To blast the world with dedication," "To conquer all people within every nation," "To renounce the principles of truth and remorse," "To denounce the world without a recourse," "Henry!" exclaimed the male voice walking around from behind the net with his arms crossed. "Starr!" exclaimed the female voice flipping from a tree above the net and landing to do a pose. "Team rocket, flying in to the night," "Give in now or lose," *Ditto, * "Right!" said a ditto.
Henry was a black haired youth of 18. He was wearing a standard TR black cap backward; a white long sleeve shirt was a large red R on it, white paints and black gloves and boots. His sea-green eyes looked at bit tired. Starr on the other hand was an energetic 18-year-old with short fiery, red hair. She was wearing a whit shirt, which split up to the curve of the large R on it. She had on a black T-shirt underneath, with a white mini-skirt and red gloves and boots, which reached to her elbows and knees respectively. Henry's ditto stood between them with a very happy smile on its face.
Alton tightened his grip on his hammer and Evan jumped off his shoulder to land in front of him. "Team Rocket huh? Let's fight!" He roared raising his hammer high. Starr threw out a poke ball and an eevee materialized. "You should have run when you had the chance. Now team rocket will take you pokemon," Starr said. *Cool, my first fight! * Said the eevee! Minda floated in front of the eevee and Evan hopped in front of the ditto and the battle began.
"Elvira, Tackle!" Starr commanded. The eevee dashed to Minda who flew out of the way at the last second. Elvira landed and kicked up a cloud of dust. She turned and tried it several more times. Each time she missed the butterfly pokemon. "Arg, this isn't working, Body Slam! Try to paralyze her!" Starr screamed frustrated. Elvira dashed toward Minda again, with more speed. Leaping high she attempted to come down right on top of her. Minda was waiting for this opportunity, and spit out a large glob of honey hitting the evolution pokemon and knocking her out of the air. She hit the ground and rolled. When she tried to get up she found that she was stuck. *Hey what kind of an attack was that? * She asked. *Honey spit, * Minda replied glancing at Evan to see how he was doing.
{Attack Honey Spit Type: Bug At: +15 Ar: 55% A large glob of honey is fired at the target making them incapable of attacking or fleeing the battle. The trainer must switch pokemon to cancel the effects. Also gives target back some HP. }
The little balloon stood facing the ditto who had quickly changed shape on Henry's command. "Shifty, Sing," the rocket commanded seemingly quite bored. The ditto, now a jigglypuff started to use its sleep inducing song. But Evan countered with his own attack, Harmonics.
{Attack: Harmonics Type: Normal At: 0 Ar: 80% A cone of sound is created in front of the user. Targets are put to sleep. The target has a 60% of becoming confused. }
His attack was more accurate and louder, so the ditto fell asleep and was confused. Evan than followed it up with a Mega Kick, knocking the ditto into a tree. Henry recalled his fainted pokemon and sent out an Ariados, a large spider like pokemon. It was larger than Evan and filled with poison. *I going to make ya sick you little cream puff, * The spider threatened. "Spinner use Spider Web, Henry commanded, a little more attentively. Minda at this point intervened with a shout, *Queen Command! * Her eyes flashed green and so did the spiders. It turned around and fired its attack at Henry, tying him up. Starr recalled Elvira and Spinner recalled himself after another mental command from Minda. She ran over to her partner, who was trying to say something. "Don't think you've won! I have five more pokemon and you only have two!" she said to Alton. At this point an arrow flew threw the air and hit the net, releasing a swarm of angry beedrill.

The other's turned and looked behind them to see Ann holding a brown and green short bow. "Hi," The girl said nervously. A few short moments later and two clearings away, Ann was still following an annoyed Alton. "Why are you following me?" He asked. "Because you interest me. I have never seen a pokemon trainer carrying a huge ornamentally crafted war hammer before. And your pokemon seem to be very young to be battling with no commands from you," she said almost jogging to keeping up with the big man. Alton nodded to Minda and Evan to go ahead while he tried to get rid of the young watcher.
As the two went off they started a conversation. *Hey, how close are we to that clearing? * Evan asked making his way through the underbrush. *Right here, * she answered landing on the same stump she had seen when she remerged with her other half. All but a few of the bones of the evil pokemon remained. The rest had been already been removed by various scavengers, but the rest of the signs of the battle from the previous day was still there. * I left my stuff in a tree over there. We only need the pokedex. The rest I don't need anymore, * Minda said. She took off and floated over to a tree with a hole in the middle of its trunk. Reaching in she pulled out her old set of cloths. She reached inside her pants pocket and pulled her pokedex Susan. It was no worse for wear after being stuck in a tree for a day. *Got it! * She yelled excitedly. *Great let's get back to Alton and tell him that are mission is complete, * Evan said.
Alton and Ann however were currently busy following a strange team rocket member. They had spotted Meyer walking with a butterfree and Alton worried that it might be Minda followed him. And Ann followed him just because she was still curious. Ann could move as silent as a cloud shadow on an almost windless day. Alton could be just as quiet surprisingly. The duo followed the elite gangster to a cabin in the woods. They stopped just outside of the clearing and watched as entered. Alton was going to ask Ann why she was still there, but the girl had vanished. (Must be nice to be a camouflage expert.) Alton thought. He waited for fifteen minutes behind a tree. Just when was starting to worry, Minda and Evan landed behind him, one from the air and the other from the trees. Evan leapt up on a stone, while Minda landed in a low tree branch.
*Wha'cha doing here? * asked the butterfree. "I was waiting to see what you were doing with that rocket and without Evan," He replied with out turning around. "If it wasn't for that girl, I would have been able to change back and sense that butterfree wasn't you." *Couldn't you tell by sight? * Minda asked. "All you bugs look the same to me," Alton said. Before Minda could reply, the door opened a Meyer stepped out of the cabin. Next to him was an azumarill who was listening attentively to something. The aqua rabbit suddenly pointed to the bushes where the focus holders were and motioned something to Meyer. He nodded once, recalled her. Then he reached behind the still open door and pulled out a rifle, which he aimed and fired.
The sound of the shot was loud and the bullet was fast. Evan was kicked off the rock by the impact. He bounced when he hit the ground. The bullet hit him directly in his left eye and had exited out off the back of his head in a bloody spray. *Evan! * Minda screamed. Alton exploded out of the trees changing back into a golem.
A dark brown circle appeared below him. It rose to form a cylinder of brown light, which hardened around him giving him the appearance of being made of stone. It bulged and shattered to complete the change into the boulder like pokemon. The change had finished by the time he had emerged fully into the clearing, so Meyer only saw his pokemon form.
"A golem? If I hit you then I probably didn't do much damage. Still you are rare around this area and in the wild," the assassin mussed. "Go bubbles!" He said re-releasing his azumarill. Alton made the first move jumping high in the afternoon air. His arms, head and legs retracted as he came down spinning into a Rollout attack. Meyer was undaunted and ordered a Bubblebeam attack as the earth shook from Alton's approach.
Minda examined Evan, who was lying face up in a pool of his own blood. *Why did you have to die? I thought we were Immortal? * She said sadly shaking her head about to cry. Suddenly he blinked and leapt to his feet. He looked around, whole, wondering what had happen. *Where's Alton? * He asked at a now cheerful Minda.
Meyer and Bubbles jumped to apart as Alton rushed between them in a near miss. Before they and the dirt and grass he kicked up landed, Meyer screamed out "Surf!" The aqua rabbit summoned to water pillars out of the ground on either side of her as she landed. They fell combined in front of her in a wave, which moved across the ground at a high speed. Alton was still turning for a second pass when it struck him. He was knocked out of his attack. Meyer swiftly fired of a round at the Alton's now exposed head. He swiftly moved his right arm in the way, which took the shot, leaving a round hole in it. Thick dark blood slowly oozed out. The whole of Alton's eyes started to glow light gray. He stuck out his left arm palm up. Brown colored lighting shot into the ground lifting dozens of huge rocks up. *Stone Fist! * He screamed throwing his hand at them.
{Attack: Stone Fist Type: Rock At: 375 or 25 Ar: 90% A large amount of rocks are pulled from the ground and formed in to a spike ball. This is fired at the target. Shock waves from a miss can still cause damage.}
The huge spiked orb cut through the air. But again the two split up, Meyer to the right firing with his rife and Bubbles to the left firing her water gun. However the when the attack hit the ground the entire clearing shook, making them both stumble. A tackle from Minda hit Meyer throwing him backwards and a tree thrown by Evan knocked Bubbles for a loop. Reinforcements had arrived.
"Marzipan, Caesar and Freedom get out here!" Meyer said sitting down from Minda's tackle. A wigglytuff, a togetic and a butterfree appeared in flash of light. "Bubbles, can you still fight?" He asked. The azumarill nodded. "Marzipan, take care of the jigglypuff, your lower evolution. Caesar get Lansky. I have a feeling there might be a trainer near by," He said pulling out a handgun from his boot. "And Freedom, destroy that other butterfree!" Minda and Evan were checking on Alton while he was giving his orders and had now turned back into the fray. Marzipan and Evan charged each other with two different war cries. They collided headfirst with a crack. Minda and Freedom flew up high to engage in an aerial duel. Meyer lowered his gun and Bubbles stood taller as they prepared to re-engage in battle with Alton. No one noticed the togetic fly back to the cabin.
Marzipan attacked ferociously with Rage. Evan was hard-pressed to avoid each blow. Suddenly a spark of energy burst off of him, creating a sparkling barrier. Now her hits did nothing to the sparkling Protect defense. Evan used his time to fire a quick hyper beam which hit the enraged puff dead on. It knocked her back causing her to roll head over heels before it dispersed. *That should stop you, * He said with a smug grin. She leap back up however and released a blood chilling roar to the heavens. *Finally a real fight. Now I don't have to hold back! * screamed Marzipan. (Great. I get the psycho,) Evan thought as the wigglytuff charged him.
Minda meanwhile, was dodging Freedom's psybeams and retaliating with her own. The dogfight continued for a few more minutes. Both combatants stopped to size each other up. *For one so young you fight quite well, * said Meyer's butterfree. *Thanks, your not bad yourself. But I've got to stop you so, * she said, *Bug Wave! *
{Attack: Bug wave Type: Bug At: 200 Ar: 95% A wave of bug energy is produced by the user. It consumes all matter in its path. }
The energy wave exploded away from Minda. As it roared toward him, Freedom closely studied the move. He suddenly moved just as it hit. It washed over him, but he had found the weakest point so the attack did no damage. He charged Minda with a Tackle, believing that she would be stunned from using that much energy. She surprised him by quickly dodging and firing off a Honey Spit. The rival butterfree however pulled up away from it, in a loop-du-loop. Again they hovered waiting to see who would make the next move.
Alton was getting fed up. While Meyer wasn't doing much damage, he was distracting enough to prevent him from getting the real threat Bubbles. Just when he almost had the quick azumarill, the young assassin would fire at a vulnerable point like his eyes. This would cause him to flinch and miss his target. Finally, He had enough. *Shrapnel Explosion! * He screamed in pure rage. A dome of rock, which quickly exploded sending shrapnel in all directions, surrounded his body. Not even the nimble duo could dodge them all. The two shielded themselves as much as possible as the dangerous rain rushed by. They were shocked when they Alton was gone!
"Did he destroy himself?" Meyer asked his partner. She shrugged and made some signs hand and ear signs that Meyer seemed to be able to understand. A cry made them look up to see Alton floating above them. He released hundreds of stones in Rock Slide attack. The aqua rabbit looked on in fear, as she had no time to dodge. Out of nowhere Meyer slid and pushed her out of the way taking the brunt of the attack.
Evan wasn't doing very well. Marzipan had pinned him with a Body Slam and was currently double slapping the smaller jigglypuff. She then grabbed him by the leg and used Seismic Toss to throw him toward the cabin. Meyer's partner Landsky had finally come out of the cabin. Caesar had told her what had happened and they where both watching from the door. She was holding a crossbow under her left arm and a grenade launcher under her right. Both weapons were pointed at the ground. She ducked under Evan who flew through the still open door. She calmly walked over to Meyer who had just gotten up.
"Catch," She said tossing him the launcher. "Bubbles, Marzipan, Freedom, and Caesar to me!" Meyer cried to his pokemon. "Are we going to say it?" Landsky asked. He nodded as his pokemon surrounded him. Minda floated down next to a confused Alton, as Meyer and Landsky faced them. The sun set behind the trees as Meyer and Landsky started speak.
"Prepare for death,"
"Cause we're its doubles,"
"To destroy the world and ensure devastation,"
"To enslave all people and rule each nation,"
"To exalt the evils of hate and conceit,"
"To extend our will with deceit,"
"Meyer!" he said, staring coldly at the two pokemon.
"Landsky!" she said with a psychotic look in her eyes.
"Team Rocket, controlling each flight!"
"Die now, or in the fight!
"Togetic!" *Right! * Caesar cheerfully cried.
An arrow whistled through the air, landing in the ground between the two sides. "Wrong! The only thing that's going to die is Team Rocket's pokemon stanching attempt," said a familiar voice. Ann jumped out of the trees, landing behind the two focus holders. "Are these your pokemon girl?" Landsky asked. "Sorta. I am watching them for a friend," she responded somewhat embarrassed. "But that doesn't matter, let's fight!" she said throwing down three pokeballs. A smeargle, a murkrow, and a staryu emerged in a flash of light. "Etch, Shriek, and Shine, let's do it!" she yelled. Landsky released her six pokemon, a genger, a gyarados, a Rhydon, a houndoom, a skarmory, and a primeape. "Spill blood, Grimm, Ravage, Trample, Stalker, Raze and Pummel," she said. "Come out Mystic," Meyer commanded releasing his next to last pokemon, a clefable. And the battle was on.
"Come Stalker, let's go after the pretty one," she hissed as she, her houndoom and Freedom cornered Minda. Meyer and Bubbles continued their duel with Alton as Ravage joined in. Trample, Pummel and Etch faced off, while Marzipan and Mystic attacked Shriek. Finally Caesar, Grimm and Raze attacked Ann and Shine.
Minda used sleep powder, but Freedom would have none of that and used Whirlwind to blow it away from Landsky. She used the opening to fire of a bolt at Minda, tearing her upper left wing causing her to crash. Stalker then fired a flamethrower before she could reorient her self. She let out a high pitched cry as the flames washed over her.
Bubbles and Ravage were pounding Alton with a duel Hydro Pump. The shield of rocks he caused to fall in front of him had already eroded, and he was taking heavy damage. When the attack ended he opened his eyes for a very lethal, counter attack when he realized Meyer was right in front of him. The longhaired rocket executive fired of his grenade launcher, blowing a huge chuck off of Alton. Then the two water pokemon nailed him again with Hydro Pump.
Etch was dodging blow after blow from Pummel and Trample. With a surprising twist of agility, he did several cartwheels away from the two brutal pokemon. He screamed as brown lighting race from his body. A huge stone spike ball formed from the ground and launched at his assailants. It hit Trample right in the chest, taking her out instantly. But Pummel was unaffected by the attack and began a Thrash attack on Etch beating him into the ground. He grabbed his tail and started to spin him for a Seismic Toss.
Shine span swiftly in place. Water ripped out of the round in two pillars behind him, then rushed forward in a Surf attack. Grimm leapt nimbly aside, while Caesar flew up in the air to avoid the attack. The ghostly gengar blasted the star shape pokemon with Nightshade. He recovered quickly and used a massive Thunder Bolt on Caesar who was powering up a Zap Cannon. It thoroughly fried the cheerful togetic, who fainted. *Who's the master? I...! * started the proud staryu when Grimm rose behind him and used Hypnosis to put him to sleep. Then she used Dream Eater to finish him off.
Ice Beams and Thunder filled the air as Shriek dodged both Mystic's Ice Beam and Marzipan's Thunder. The two moon stone evolutions where keeping her from attacking. She vanished, leaving them with no target. The faint attack finally knocked out Marzipan. But when she reappeared, Mystic fired an Ice Beam, which hit her dead on, unluckily freezing her in place.
Ann's bow did nothing to the armor of Raze. The Armored bird laughed at her attempts to bring him down. He then strafed her with Swift, raining gold stars on her. In a few moments the holders and their new friend where beaten back. Alton was barley conscious, Minda had fainted, Shriek had been frozen, Etch and Shine where both out.
Standing in front of Alton and Minda, covered with scratches and cuts, Ann stood with her last poke ball out. She had recalled her fainted and incapacitated pokemon. She looked at the twelve remaining threats and felt despair. (I only have Heatwave left. And he is just a child.) she thought, (Still..) "Go Heatwave," Ann cried. The poke ball split open and a Magby appeared. The little fellow looked at the fully evolved powerhouses, and ran back and hugged her leg in fear. "If there will be no more delays, give us your pokemon, and we will kill you quickly," Landsky said. Ann lifted up Heatwave and stared directly in her eyes. "No," she said firmly but quietly. "So be it. Ravage; bite off their heads. Just as the large red gyarados was about to carry out the brutal command, a scream of pure power and rage cut through the evening air. The rockets and their pokemon turned toward the cabin to see Evan with his head down crying in front of the open door of the cabin. In his right hand was an intricately craved pokeflute.
The jigglypuff looked up at them with a look of pure fury. The whole of his eyes started to glow dark pink, and the symbol colorless seemed to appear around his right eye. He screamed again, raising both arms toward the heavens. His aura exploded around him. The huge orange-white spark of energy disintegrated the ground around him. "It begins. Ann, please place Minda behind me and stay there," Alton whispered painfully. Ann did just that. She scooped up Minda with her left arm and carried both her and the two pokemon behind the boulder like pokemon.
Meyer noticed this, but he didn't have time to do any thing because the normal focus holder simply vanished and reappeared behind Pummel. The Extreme Speed attack was so fast and powerful, that it took three seconds for the effect to actually hit. The pig monkey pokemon was thrown five feet away to skid to stop under a tree half dead. "Stalker, Grimm, Ravage attack!" Landsky yelled, firing a bolt at Evan. He knocked the arrow aside and caught both Stalker's upper and lower jaws. This prevented him from doing Crunch. He slammed them shut then used Hammer Punch on his lower jaw, sending him flipping back in the air. He did five full flips before he brokenly hit the ground. Ravage tried to Body Slam him, but he caught the huge water serpent and Back Dropped her into a crater in the ground behind him. Grimm lifted him with Psychic, but in a burst of power he broke free. Twin eye beams were the only indication of him using Foresight. Now that he could hurt her with physical attacks, he used Quick Attack. He hit the ghost dead on. Before anyone could do much else, He started to Stomp her. Every hit sent the ghost deeper into the ground. He then stated to walk toward the remaining rockets.
Meyer fired a napalm grenade, seemingly blowing Evan up. "What in the fiery underworld was that!" he said. "How was that jigglypuff that powerful?" Landsky screamed as they recalled their fallen pokemon. "I think poor my poor pokemon need medical attention," she mumbled softly. Out of the smoke and flames a Hyper Beam lanced out. It hit Freedom right in the chest, throwing him back into Marzipan and sending them both into a tree across the whole clearing. It cracked and fell over on impact. Two glowing pink eyes could be seen in the flames. Raze had enough. He couldn't stand the fact that they were losing to a jigglypuff. He divided into his own Quick Attack. Before he hit, he was knocked aside by a Mega Kick to the head. He was caught by the leg and slammed into the ground repeatedly in a Fury Attack. "That's impossible, Quick Attack always hits first," Ann said behind a now comatose Alton.
After he was done denting in Raze's skull, he used Glare on Mystic, paralyzing him on the spot. Mystic turned and fearful looked at his trainer unable to run or fight. Meyer recalled him and sent out the last pokemon that they had, his blissey, Mint. "TELEPORT NOW!" He screamed. *YOU WON'T GET AWAY! OMEGA BEAM! * Evan screamed firing a huge beam of energy bigger than the most two story houses. But Teleport was faster and the gangsters vanished before the beam ionized the ground were they where in a huge explosion. Evan looked at the smoking crater than at the flute in his hand that was amazingly undamaged. (Father.) was all he thought as Ann and Heatwave slowly approached him from behind.
"Um, are you Ok? What happened to set that off?" the girl asked. "No," he replied sadly. "And to answer you other q-q-uestion l-ook in.." he started, and then collapsed crying. Ann looked back and noticed Alton and Minda standing up completely healed. "Immortally has its advantages," Alton said dryly. In a flash he changed back to being human. "Minda go see what made the little fellow so upset that he had to call upon his true power. The two girls walked / flew to the cabin to find out what happen in there.
Minda and Ann looked about the cabin. The main room was a large living room like area. There was a kitchen area forward and to the left of the door. Straight ahead was a hall leading to some bedrooms. This hall had a small table in it. Ann went to look around the main room and Minda fluttered down the hall. The hall contained three doors, two on the left and one on the right. The second door on the left had the table on it. Minda looked in the first left door and noticed it was just a full bathroom. Strangely, there were some curious pink stains on the floor next to the sink. She continued down the hall till she reached the door on the right. It was closed, but with a quick push it opened to reveal a bedroom with two single beds. She floated down the hall to the last door. This door was open just a crack. Expecting another bedroom, she opened the door and looked in. Three seconds later she got over her shock enough to scream.
Inside the room was a man without a shirt lying in a pool of blood. He had numerous cuts on his body some deep others shallow. Apparently, he wasn't dead very long do to the fact that the pool was still spreading. Half of Minda wanted to fly out screaming in horror the other half was equally upset, but knew she had to find out who this person was. Ann ran in a saw Minda floating over the dead man. She stumbled over and managed to turn the body over with a little psychic help, getting sticky blood over her hands and the bottom of her white sneakers. "Who was he?" She asked the butterfly pokemon. Minda still in shock accidentally responded in human speech. "Evan's dad," she said in a monotone.
A short while later, Ann, Alton as a human, Minda, Evan, and Heatwave all stood in front of the shrouded body. Alton had dug a hole in the ground and they were all standing in front of it. The holders had explained the situation to Ann so she knew who they were. She was sad about the death, but excited to me living legends. They group was going to hold a funeral and Evan was going to speak. "Even though he wasn't my biological father, we were really close." (I didn't know Evan was adopted. Then again I don't have parents for my human side either) Minda thought.
"He gave me my first pokemon friend in and always supported me. I always felt that I was missing something in my life, but when I found the truth, that I was an orphan because I was one half of a whole, a part of the Normal focus I never got a chance to tell him. But he knew, and tried to protect me from it. He wanted to give me the chance to live a normal life and even went as far as to ask for help from Team Rocket. They killed him trying to find out were I was and to find out the song that will wake up the Eternity holder. I sorry I can't.." he said turning a running away.
"It's ok," Ann yelled to a quickly retreating Evan. "We should get going," Alton said to Minda who was looking kind of down about the whole affair. "Wait! Will I see you again?" asked the young watcher. "Come to White City on Stadium Island. We will be at the tournament there," He replied lowering the body in the make shift grave. He then climbed out and used a quick Rock Slide to fill the hole. He then rose a marker at the head of the grave. The butterfly landed on his shoulder as he walked into the evening forest. The girl and her pokemon watched him follow the distraught away.
