The Tryouts Begin!

At the roof of Gym Leader Castle
"Tell me again why we opened the league." Karen asked.
"We opened it cause after what happened last year we’ll have a normal competition now." Lance answered.
"Giovanni is going to get back at us for being so called traitors." Will said.
"You did the right thing. What are the chances of him doing the same mistake?" Bruno asked.
"A million to 1. In favor of Giovanni." Karen answered.
"With all of our pokemon AND all of the competitors’ pokemon they won’t stand a chance." Koga said.
"Maybe me and Karen should quit being Elite trainers and give Lorelei her position back." Will suggested.
"No. Both of you earned it." A female voice suddenly answered.
The 5 trainers turn around and saw the former Elite member.
"It’s great to see you again." Lance said.
"Thanks. I quit being an Elite member. Agatha retired. Both of them should be here." Lorelei said.
"We’re afraid that when Giovanni attacks somebody going to get hurt because of us." Karen said.
"The reason why I quit was to give trainers a chance to become to Elite members and to have more time teaching others to be better. You belong here." Lorelei answered.
"Lorelei and Agatha are watching the tryouts and competition. They’ll keep out for trouble." Lance said.
The 6 trainers looked down at the many trainers that are waiting to be in the League. Each of the Elite thinking what if Giovanni does attack?
Outside of Gym Leader Castle
Finally I was here. The Tryouts were today. If I was this excited about the tryouts I couldn’t think how excited I would be for the actually competition. Finally the gigantic doors were opened. Hundreds of trainers entered. The Elite 4 were already there.
"Welcome trainers! As you all know only a few of you will be able to enter the competition. So do your best. You will be each divided into smaller groups depending on which region or country you’re from. The gym leaders are already in their towers ready to take on all challengers. Follow the Elite members to your region or country’s main tower. Some of the region and country’s rules have been changed." Lance the dragon trainer explained.
The rest of the Elite 4 is already waiting to lead some of the groups to the towers.
"All Johto trainers follow me!" Karen the dark trainer said.
Other trainers and me followed her heading to the Johto tower.
"You will battle 4 randomly picked Johto gym leaders. If you win all 4 battles losing the least amount of pokemon in all of the battles you will be able to the enter the competition." Karen explained.
Great! Now I won’t know whom I’ll battle.
In the Orange Islands tower
Lorelei just led us to the Orange Islands tower. The Adoption Agency and my parents agreed that I would decide if I wanted to go to my real mom after the tryouts. I had a lot on my mind. Exactly who was my mom? I stopped pondering and pay attention to the rules.
"All of the gym leaders will test you by other skills other then pokemon battles. You must pass each test in order to go on to the next 1. Cissy will race you by surfing with your water pokemon in a giant man made river that 1st start inside the Coral Eye tower and ends at the Sea Ruby Tower. Danny will then challenge you to making ice from water, carving the ice into a sled, and then using it to race to the Spikeshell Tower. You must defeat Rudy by going on a boat and using different pokemon to hit wooden targets and heading to Jade Star tower. Luana will have a double pokemon battle with you. After the battle, Drake is the final orange crewmember you must defeat. You have to pass ALL tests to enter the league." Lorelei explained.
Now that I knew the rules I wasn’t sure if I could do it. How can I possible pass all those tests?
In the Kanto Tower
I was with Gary and Ash when we just entered the Kanto tower by Koga. Gary and me were fine but Ash was VERY nervous. Gary and me tried to cheer him up. We both knew he was nervous about meeting Misty.
"You don’t need to worry Ash! It’ll be great seeing your old friends again." I said.
"Yeah. You 3 had been together for about 3 years now. What could possible happen?" Gary said.
We stopped talking when Koga was about to explain the rules for the tryouts.
"The rules have been changed for the tryouts. The new rules will be the same rules Johto uses. You will be fighting 4 randomly picked Kanto gym leaders. If you win all 4 battles losing the least amount of pokemon you will be able to enter the league." Koga explained.
After that, the trainers talked about whom they might battle. Gary and me were still trying to cheer Ash up.
"You don’t need to worry about what’ll happen! You might not face Brock and Misty in a battle." I said.
"There’s little chance that Brock and Misty will be 2 of those 4 gym leaders." Gary assured.
"Hey Ash!" A male voice suddenly said.
We saw a boy about a year older then us.
"Hey Brock! What are you doing here?" Ash said.
"Left my tower. I knew you were going to be here." Brock answered.
"Where’s Misty?" Ash asked.
"Here." A female voice coldly said.
We saw a red head girl around our age. She didn’t look too happy.
"H-hey Misty." Ash stuttered nervously.
"Hello." Misty said coldly.
"Did she came here by herself?" I asked Brock.
"No. I dragged her here. It’s time Ash and Misty settle this once and for all." Brock replied.
"We need to talk about alone." Ash said.
Looked like Ash had the guts to talk to Misty about what happened. We left, leaving them alone.
In the Earth badge Tower
"Domino, is everything ready?" Giovanni asked.
"Yes sir. Jessie and James are setting up holes and traps all over the Kanto towers. Butch and Cassidy are doing the same thing on the Orange Islands Towers. Me and Mondo are done in the Johto Towers." A blonde female member replied.
"Good. Mondo did you give the supplies to all units?" Giovanni asked.
"Yes sir. All units have everything they need." A brown haired male member answered.
"Good. Then we have everything ready. On my signal all members attack." Giovanni said.
