New Way, New Life(Part 1) Background: The S.S. Dianne arrives on the shore. Whew! I finally arrived at the Tech. It's August, now, and the semester starts in early September. New students are given registeration forms and each were given a room to stay at the apartment next door. After registeration, They asked me to take the entrance exam. Because of all those years training with Squirtle-Wartorle, I aced the exam with a record score of 100%. The, former record holder was, top class beginner, Giselle, the Mrs. Popular of the entire beginner class because of her looks. After all that's done, the registrarer gave me the room key, it says Rm 609. The apartment complex was right behind the school. Every floor contains about 100 dorm rooms and there's about 12 floors. There are 4 Apartments in all, all on different sides. They are all 12 floors and 100 dorm rooms in each floor. My room was at the western apartment. Every room has a TV, a computer, and a table. Basically, it has everything needed for a regular life-style, a refrigerator, everything. Well, school starts at September 8th and it's only July so I've got about 3 months to prepare and get use to this new life. Soon, I started going on scheduled routines such as working out at the school gym, just outdoor activities. By September 1st, I stood about 5'8, 165 lbs, considered pretty tall for a 16 year old. I packed my stuff in my backpack and started heading to my assigned classes. I started out as a beginner but, quickly moved up to the intermediate classes. Giselle, Mrs. Popular at the school, was, also, an intermediate right after Ash, Misty, and Brock left for Vermillion City. Joe dropped out of school to "start from scratch" for his Weepinbell. After school, I went back to my dorm and studied until 4:30pm. After that, I went outside only to see a lake with trees around them. (To all the fights I've conquered and behold) (The times have changed and I will now move over slowly...) (The truth is I still feel lost without you) (Hard to find a new soul) (The silence takes its toll) The mountain glimpse just reminds me of home. All the memories of home. Happy and sad. (Just sway) (You don't know...) (Just sway) (You don't know...) (Just sway) (And all you want is to find home...) The sun sets right over the mountains. (Theres a light pausing) (Feel the volume of the sky) (Mark your place in time with another question why...) (Time flickers in the night) (Always lookin to be right) The soft breeze. Just feels like I'm home again. I sigh in the sadness. (And all you want is to find home...) (Just sway) (And you don't love) (Just sway) (And you don't know) (Just sway) (And all you want is to find home...) "Hi." I heard a soft voice behind me. I turned back and saw a girl, about my age. She has 3 beautiful strips of black hair, all curled up, 2 reached her cheeks, 1 reached on top of her forehead. 2 narrow strips reached her chest. She was a student because of the uniform she was wearing. I was, also, wearing a uniform(blue shirt and kakis with a tie). "Hey" I replied back. "Hey, weren't you in Mr. Green's class?" the girl asked. "Yeah, how'd you know?" "I'm in that class too!" "Same period?" "Yep!" "That's a coincidence..." I thought to myself. "Are you new here?" she asked suddenly. "Yeah, just enrolled here about a few months ago." "Oh, I see. By the way, my name's Giselle." "I know..." I replied, "I saw you and overheard a conversation, I'm Paul by the way. Nice to meet you." "Well, since this is school spirit, let's battle." Giselle said. "Okay." I said. "Go!" Said both trainers. Out pops Blastoise on my side and a Cubone on her side. "Blastoise Hydro Pump!" I yelled. "Cubone dodge it!" She countered back. The Hyrdo Pump missed the target as Cubone moved swiftly. "Now, Agility!" She ordered. "Blastoise, he's too fast for your eyes, use your ears, wait for right opportunity." I said. 3 steps heard, felling is close. "Cubone Bone Club!" She said. "Now! Go Mega Punch!" I yelled. BOOM! Blastoise socked Cubone right on the kisser, spun around and started crying. Giselle, quickly called it back. "I can't believe I lost." Giselle started kneeling onto the ground. Looked like she was about to cry. I quickly went over to her and said, "It's okay, you fought hard." "I just don't like losing." she said. "I don't like losing either, especially if it's someone you loved and cared for all your life." I said in a deep, toned, voice. (To Be Continued). Whew! Done with the first chapter! I hope I did a good job on it. Comments, questions, etc. Please E-Mail me @ SniperZ92010@yahoo.com. OK, part deux(2 in French)
