Chapter Three-Prime Primaverra

The kids (or as they are also affectionately called, "The Twerps")had wandered through the city to the docks, looking for a resturaunt. As they walked along the path nearest the lake (with Misty looking rather disgusted), They spotted an old man who had just brought his boat in, a huge net of fish taking up most of the room on his small deck. While tying his boat up, he noticed the three children gawking at him. His mouth formed a huge, fake, friendly smile.

"Ahoy!" he yelled, waving as he did.

The three of them took that as a cue to come over, Misty leading the way as she stomped toward the boat. She climbed up as if she was scaling an enemy wall, preparing for a fierce battle.

"I can't believe you! Taking all of those beautiful creatures from their home just so you can eat them! You people make me sick!" Screamed Misty, inches away from the suprised man's face. Brock grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her away from him, a look of embarressment on his face.

"Sorry," he began, one arm scratching the back of his head as the other restrained Misty."The girls a little odd." He laughed self-consciensly.

"What?!" yelled Misty, trying to break free.

"A little odd?" said ash belatedly, looking at Misty with his proud I-just-made-a-joke face.

"That's quite alright," replied the man."Everyone's entitled to their own opinions." He paused to look them over."Don't recall as I've ever seen you all around here."

"No. We're just visisting." explained Ash.

"I see." Said the captian, as if deep in thought."Not too many visitors around these parts."He looked at them suspicously."So I suppose you've heard everything there is to here about our fair city?"

"Actually no." answered Brock."What's the story?"

The man smiled, a genuine one this time."Ah... I see." he cleared his throat as he began to talk."Primave City was founded...hundred years ago when a young man named, uh, John discovered...how rich the area is with sea life." He paused and looked at the children."Surely you've heard if Primave's fine quality sea food? Primaverra?"

Brock and Ash shook their heads.

"Yes." said Misty mockingly."And you should be ashamed of yourselves! Someday, there won't be any sea life here; you'll have eaten it all. Your disgusting!"

"Well, Miss, I can clearly see you don't like...bloodshed of water pokemon."
"That's right."She said proudly.

"Well, ya best look after yourself:there's more here to worry ya than whether we eat fish ." He looked at the two clueless boys and smiled. He hooked his net of fish to a hook and then motioned to a younger man who was operating a crane-like device. He pulled up the huge net by the hook and plopped it behind the back of the resturaunt.

"Thanks Captain!"The old man waved back to him.

"Come on kids," Said the captain, climbing from the boat."How about some quality primaverra for lunch; my treat!" he said, tapping his pocket.

"Alright! Free food!" exclaimed Ash following the captain.

"I'm starved!" yelled Brock, stumbling out of the boat after them. Misty grudgingly followed them, completely and utterly disgusted. After a few minutes of walking, they were there.

"Ah yes. This it it.'Prime Primaverra', the best seafood resturaunt this side of Vermillion city." Said the captain, full of pride, with a giddy smile seemingly covering his entire face. He walked loftingly into the building, Ash and Brock following like hungry puppies. Misty, on the other hand, stomped over to an empty bench and stayed outside. Ash, noticing she was no longer behind him, poked his head out of the building's doors.

"Hey Misty, aren't you coming in with us?" She shot him a cold glare. "Uh, Ok then." he said indifferently, turing back into the resturaunt.
