A.N.: yea, yea I know its only august but ever since I finished Love You Always I’ve been wanting to start a new project but haven’t been able to think of anything and had nothing to do until I remembered that I had started this story last year I figured I’d just finish it off now and send it in. once again Togapi is not in this story and neither is Brock they would just kind of get In the way in this kind of story. Well that’s about it enjoy.

Christmas, everyone’s favorite day, the one day you wait for all year, the day your suppose to get whatever your heart desires; to bad the only thing I want is the only thing that I wanted was the one thing I may never have, love. It was Christmas eve, about three or four in the afternoon and we were decorating a small tree that pikachu had found near a small lake; as I watched the young fiery red headed girl place the star on the top I couldn’t help but be amazed at her beauty. Magnificent for lack of a better word was the only way to describe her, like a angel and nothing less. “Hey Ash I think were actually finished.” She says to me smiling “That’s great Mist, and it only took us an hour for a two foot tree.” I tell her sarcastically with a smirk on my face. “Ha.. Ha.. vary funny, so what do you think, really?” She asks me. As I the shin of the lights glisten off my eyes I glance over to Misty with a smile. “its Beautiful Mist, Its Beautiful” I say nodding my head slightly. There was already three presents one for me another for Pikachu and the last for Misty. The perfect gift that’s what I wanted for her and that’s exactly what I had gotten her something I knew she would love, and I couldn’t wait to see her face when she would open it.

It was Christmas morning still pretty early, about seven, I was still sleeping, well at least I was until SPLASH I suddenly feel a cold feeling come over me and I jump up just as suddenly as it happened . “AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH what was that!” I scream furiously. “Marry Christmas Ash!” Was the only response I got “Yah, marry Christmas, now can I go back to sleep. I say with an annoyed look on my face. “Of course not silly we have to open our presents; here.” She tells me extending her arm out, giving me a present. “Thanks Mist, what is it?” I ask “Just open it and find out” she says with a smile. I open the box that she had handed me and inside was a trophy I pulled it out and started to read it out loud “To Ash Ketchum the world best pokemon trainer and a great friend. “Its great Mist, thanks!” I tell her happily. I searched around for a sec until I see looking for I, a small rectangular box raped in a shining blue wrapping. As she opens it her eyes seem to swell with disbelief “Ash, its, beautiful how did you ever afford it?” she asks with a gaping mouth as she pulls out a golden heart shaped locket “I had a lot of extra money lying around, and, I just saw this, and, well, I thought it would look, nice on you, that’s all” I tell her blushing nervously. “Its great Ash, I love it, thank you.” she says With joy in her voice. “It was nothing Mist I’m just glad you like it.” I tell her happily.

It was about eleven at night, and we had all gone bed at least that’s what I had thought. I awoke suddenly I’m not exactly sure why I just, did, and as I pick myself I look over to Misty and notice she’s not there. (Were could she be?) I think to myself, It was then when I notice her sitting by the lake. “Misty?” I say “Oh, Ash you surprised me” she tells me jumping a little she turns around to look at me then turns back around and puts her head down. “What are you doing up?” I ask her “Its nothing Ash just thinking, that’s all.” She tell me without looking up “About what” I ask “Just about me and you and…. well…. Nothing.” I stared at her with a questioning look. “I want to tell you thank you again for the gift.” she says still staring blankly but as my eyes began to focus I noticed that she wasn’t staring at into the water she had been staring at something in her hand but still couldn’t tell exactly what it was. “It was nothing Mist really, I’m just glad that you liked it.” I say as I stand and begin to walk towards her. I sit next to her I try to see what’s in her hand but she turns her body slightly and begins to look into my “No really Ash I mean it really means a lot to me.” She says still looking into my eyes. As I stare into her aqua blue I began to feel my heart beating faster and something began to pull me something powerful as I leaned in I could feel my lips meeting hers I held the kiss for about a minute before I broke away as I did so I stared into her eyes again she just stared at me; I had gone to far I didn’t know what to say so I didn’t say anything I just stared blankly at her after a wail I noticed she began to smile she started to lean forward, she did care for me I knew that now and began to lean in as well, once again our lips met; I could now feel her heart betting as well, betting the same rhythm as mine we. I never wanted it to end but it soon did as we parted I finally saw what was in her hand, it was the locket but it was open she had opened it and found the picture I had placed in it, it was us, it was a picture we had taken a few months back, my favorite as I saw this I looked back into her eyes “I love you Misty.” I tell her with all my heart “I love you to Ash.” she tells me back before we lean in again for yet another kiss.
