Chapter 4
The Hospital

     “ Excuse me? Are you Ash Ketchum?” asked a nurse. Brock and Ash had 
been waiting in the waiting room for half a hour to get some reply’s about 
Misty. “ Yes I am.” said Ash standing up. “ The doctor said that you can see 
her now. Please go to room 56 on the right.” pointed the nurse. “ Thank you“ 
said Ash before walking down the hall with Pikachu not far behind. Brock was 
just about to follow when a nurse said “ I’m sorry sir but we only allow one 
person at a time to visit.” “ Alright.” said Brock sitting back down. Ash 
saw that Pikachu was behind him so he bent down and said “ Pikachu could I 
talk to Misty alone please?” Pikachu thought for a minuet then nodded and 
walked back down to the waiting room. Ash opened the door to find a doctor 
by Misty’s bed. “ How is she?” asked Ash behind the doctor. “ Your very 
lucky you got her here on time. She has a  sprained ankle, I had to stitch 
up a cut on her head and, she had some internal problems but they will heal 
over time. If she had stayed out there all night without you coming to her 
rescue she would of died.” the doctor explained. Ash looked down at Misty 
and she was sleeping. “ She’s sleeping right now so your welcome to stay and 
watch her.” said the doctor before walking out the door. Ash pulled up a 
chair and sat down by Misty. He gently put a hand on her cheek and Misty 
opened her eyes. “ Misty...” began Ash but he couldn’t get any other words 
out. Misty put a hand behind Ash’s head and with the other grasping Ash’s. 
Ash lowered his head and claimed Misty’s lips. The kiss seemed to last for 
eternity when Ash separated the kiss and giving one quick kiss. Misty smiled 
and said “ Thank you Ash. I love you.” “ I love you too Misty.” Ash 
whispered pulling her into his arms. Misty rested her head on Ash’s shoulder 
while Ash held her tight to him.

    Pikachu looked in through the door window and cried. “ Pikachu pi pika. 
Wow that was so romantic.” Pikachu said as Brock appeared. “ What’s the 
matter Pikachu?” asked Brock. Pikachu pointed inside and Brock looked 
through the window. He smiled and said “ I knew it! They’re together 
finally!” Pikachu nodded and wanted to continue to watch but Brock pulled 
Pikachu away and said “ Let’s leave them alone now.” Pikachu looked 
disappointed but followed Brock. A week passes and Misty’s recovery was 
quite impressive. Her internal problems were gone and her ankle was almost 
healed. “ What happened to me here? A week ago I was in all sorts of pain 
but now it’s almost gone.” asked Misty trying to stand up. She put her ankle 
down and looked amazed. “ It doesn’t hurt.” Misty said jumping on it. Ash 
walked up and said “ That’s great Misty.” She smiled and then the doctor 
came in. “ Well...your well enough to leave. It’s been a pleasure meeting 
you Misty. Oh and this is for you.” said the doctor handing Misty a 
envelope. Misty opened it and inside was a paper that said “ In he night no 
one can hear you scream.” Misty dropped the letter and started to shake. “ 
What’s wrong Misty?” asked Ash walking up to her. “ That...sentence is what 
whoever or whatever said when it was attacking me.”
