The Decision

  Morning had come when the trio left the hospital of Garden Ville. Ash 
stayed close to Misty after getting that letter. Misty was thankful that Ash 
was worried and wanted to protect her but she didn’t want him to protect him 
every single minuet. “ Let’s go see what Garden Ville is like!” Misty 
suggested. “ Yeah not a bad idea.” Brock said. “ I got to check out the 
latest pokemon breeding gear.” Brock added. Ash smiled and said “ Yeah I 
gotta go to the nearest pokemon center anyway.” Misty looked to her right 
and saw a small lake. “ I can catch some more water pokemon maybe I’ll start 
training some other types as well.” Misty said. “ Pika pikachu pi. ( Misty 
are you feeling ok?)” Pikachu asked. Misty looked down and said “ Listen 
Pikachu I’m fine and don’t worry so much because of that letter. It’s 
probably just some dumb prank a teen sent me.” Pikachu nodded and Ash said “ 
What if that letter isn’t a prank?” Misty sighed and said “ Ash...I’m trying 
to get over what happened in the forest ok? Now I’m going to go catch some 
pokemon. Oh could you do me a favor?” Ash and Brock nodded. “ Please take 
Golduck and Seadra to the pokemon center.” asked Misty pulling out two 
pokeballs and putting them in Ash’s hand. “ Alright but please be careful. I 
don’t want anything to happen to you.” Ash said. Misty smiled and gently 
placed a kiss on his check. “ I’ll be fine. Bye!” Misty said before running 
off toward the lake.

  Ash watched Misty run off into the distance and sighed. Brock put a hand 
on his shoulder and said “ She’ll be ok Ash. You gotta have confidence in 
her that she can take care of herself.” Ash smiled and nodded. “ Let’s get 
to that pokemon canter.” Ash said before walking down another street. Brock 
followed and soon they reached the pokemon center. As they entered it Brock 
began his daily routine of having the love bug. “ Nurse Joy!” Brock said 
dreamily. Ash sighed and walked up to the counter. “ Hi my name is Cathy. 
How can I help you?” Cathy said stepping up behind the counter. “ Yes 
please. I would like 6 pokemon to be healed. Four are mine the other two 
belong to a friend of mine. She just wanted me to bring them here.” Ash said 
setting 6 pokeballs on the counter. “ I will have to ask you which one’s are 
your and which one are your friends.” Cathy said typing on the computer. “ 
These two are my friends pokemon. Inside them are a Golduck and a Seadra.” 
Ash said pointing. “ Alright. They will be healed in half a hour.” Cathy 
said taking the pokeballs. After she was gone Ash sat down and looked 
around. Brock was in the corner begging Nurse Joy to go out with him but he 
wasn't getting any luck. In the right of the pokemon center there were some 
telephone’s. “ Might as well see how Mom is going.”  Ash said as he walked 
up to a phone. After dialing he waited and waited but had no luck. Finally 
the answering machine came on. “ You have reached the Ketchum residence. No 
one is available to get to the phone right now so please leave a message and 
I will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you!” the machine chanted. “ 
Hi Mom, it’s me Ash. I was just calling from a place called Garden Ville and 
just wanted to say hi but since your not home I’ll talk to you later.” Ash 
recorded. After hanging up Pikachu waking from his nap started to growl and 
electricity sparked from it’s check. “ Pikachu what’s the matter?” asked 
Ash. Then Ash looked out the door and saw a figure with glaring red eyes 
standing out the door. “ What is that?” Ash asked. The figure looked around 
then suddenly disappeared into thin air. “ Pikachu pika pi pika! ( We gotta 
find Misty now!)” Pikachu said. Ash ran to Brock and got him to follow. They 
ran toward the lake and hoped they would find Misty on time.
