This is my first Shounen-ai fanfic ever......well my first fanfic on this site!

In this fic Ash is 15
              Gary is 16
             Misty is 16
             Brock is 19
But Brock and Misty are only in a few parts ^_^;


    It was a brisk clear Sunday afternoon. Ash Ketchum, a boy with an excited 
gleam in his eyes, was dashing to Professor Oak's lab. He asked Ash to come 
because he had a important task for him to do. ' Man I'm so exicted!!' Ash 
thought happily. ' Oak never asked me to do a task in years! I wonder what it 
is!' He finally reached the lab and went inside. 
   Surpisingly he found his long time rival Gay Oak standing next to the 
professor. He has changed a lot since the last time Ash saw him, which was a 
couple years. He dyed part of his hair blue, his legs have gotten longer, and 
his brown eyes were slightly darker. He was very very handsome. Ash was kind of 
shocked with about his appearence.
   "Well well well long time no see Ash!" Gary said with a smirk. "We'd thought 
you gotten eaten by a Gyarados!"
   Ash gotten annoyed at this. "Heh... your two-bit sarcastic jokes haven't 
changed a bit Gary!"
   "Grrr..Why you..."
  "Boys! Please!" Professor Oak yelled. "I have no use for such childish 
behavoir!"
  Gary stuck his tongue at Ash. "Yeah Ash! Grow up!"
  "That goes for you too Gary!" Oak remarked. "Now I bet you boys are now 
wondering why I asked you here. Well, I have a special task you guys need to do 
for me. It's very important for my research project that I'm working on 
and....."
  "Geez, just tell me what to do gramps,and it's a done deal!" Gary intrupted.
  "Actually Gary, Ash needs to go with you too. This task requires three people"
  "Three people?" Ash asked. "Whose coming with us?"
  "Say hello to Dr. Momiji Hikaru!"
  All of a sudden a dark figure comes walking in. Dr. Hikaru was a tall man with 
glasses, and a scruffy beard, that he was trying to grow. You could tell by 
looking at him that he was a dorky scientist.
  "Hi." He greeted.
 "Dr. Hikaru will join you on your journey....."
 "WHAT THE HELL IS THE FREAKING TASK!!!!!!!!???" Gary shouted angerly.
 "Oh....right silly me!" Oak apologized. "Ash, Gary, you are to accompany Dr. 
Hikaru on his quest in seach for the legendary Zapdos golden grail that is 
located in a forest on the Indigo Plateau. It's very hard to find but I need it 
for the research I'm doing. The reason why you boys are going along with him is 
because he can't do it by himself.....plus he can't do a Pokemon battle."
 "Heh heh I'm totally helpless...." Dr.Hikaru laughed nervously.
 'That's easy for you to say.' Gary thought to himself.
 "So are you boys up to it?" Oak asked them.
 "Yeah you can count on us Professor Oak!" Ash said. "We'll help find that 
grail!"
 "Glad to hear it! Don't worry about bringing anything. I'll take care of it, 
and be sure to bring your pokeballs with you. When you are ready to leave be 
sure to meet up with Dr.Hikaru near the fishing dock."
 "We will" Ash and Gary both left the lab.
  When they went outside they saw Ash's mom, Brock, Pikachu, and Misty.
  "We heard you guys were going some where." Brock said.
  "Yeah, so we came to say "Good Luck" on your journey." Misty smiled.
  "Thank you very much" Ash and Gary both said.
  "ASH!!!!!" Ash's mom came running into him with a bone crushing hug. "Mommy is 
going to miss you soo much!!! Sniff..sniffle"
  Gary snickered at this mother/son moment. Ash's face went red from 
embarassment and blue from lack of air.
 "Mom!! You're crushing me!!" Ash choked.
 She let go. "Opps sorry dear! I geuss I'm going to have to stay home with you 
gone....sniff WAH!!!!!!!!!"
 "Mom...."
 "Hey mama's boy we should get the show on the road if ya know what I mean!" 
Gary said.
 "Ok Gary!" Ash ran towards him while waving "good bye" to the others. "Hey 
Misty be sure to take care of Pikachu when I'm gone!" Misty nodded while Pikachu 
was waving at his master.
  "Hey...Ash?"
  "Yeah Gary?"
  "I have a feeling that this is going to be a long journy." 
 Ash nodded while him and his partner arrived at the fishing dock.
