As we exited Pallet town, we came upon some plains of grass with few trees. 
There in the grass near some trees was a baby bird-like pokemon.
"Pidgey the little bird pokemon. They can create huge gusts of wind by flapping 
their tiny wings." Dexter said
"Cool. What do you think Tag? Are you up for battle?"
"Vewee." Tag said determined.
"Lets do it. Quick attack."
Tag's hit was true. It knocked Pidgey out.
"Go. Pokeballlll!" I said.
"Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Booong."
"YESSSSSSSS! I caught a Pidgeyyyyyy!" I yelled.
"Veweeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Tag said hapilly.
"Come on out Zipppy." I said throwing my newly caught Pidgey's pokeball into the 
air.
"Pidgey?" The little bird-like pokemon said, confused.
"Hi Zippy. I'm Sydney. This is Tag. You are my very first caught pokemon. Can 
you find some pokemon for us?"
"Pidgey!" The little bird said flying off.
In a few minutes, Zippy returned. "Pidgey! Pid. Pidgey."
"Let's go, Tag. Lead us to the pokemon, Zippy."
We followed Zippy to a flat place. There I saw a puppy like pokemon.
"Growlithe the puppy pokemon. It fears nothing, not even opponents bigger than 
itself" Dexter said.
"Lets get 'em, Zippy," I said, "Gust attack."
Pidgey's gust was very strong. The Growlithe then countered with tackle. "Use 
quick attack."
The Growlithe then used a bite attack, but it missed."Use a whirlwind." I said 
to Pidgey.
"Gooooooooooooo!!!!!Pokeballllllllllllllllllllllll!"I said.
"Bing. Bing. Bing. Bing. Bling. Bling. Bling. Bling. Bling. Bling. Bling. 
Bonng." The pokeball said.
"I've got a Growlitheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I saw a sign ahead. It read`Welcome to Viridian City Gateway to Indigo.` It also 
had 'HOME OF THE UNDEFEATED EARTH BADGE HOLDER. GYM LEADER'S NAME UNKNOWN'. I 
started to the town by climbing the natural rock fence that guarded the town. I 
returned Pidgey and got out my grappling hook. The rock fence was 9 feet tall 
and had few footholds. I threw the grappling hook as high as I could, getting it 
caught on a tight rock. I secured my pokemon's pokeballs by the straps on my 
belt. I then checked my belt pack and backpack and made sure my bags were also 
secure. I then started to climb on the few footholes. It took me an hour. I 
checked my bags as soon as I reached the top. Then I took my canteen and checked 
for water. It was empty. I then made sure I got my grappling hook attatched at 
another foothold. Then after a brief break, I put my things back up and started 
to climb down. At a safe distance, I detached my grappling hook and jumped down. 
I checked my things and made sure everything was secure. Then I met an old man.
"Hello, young trainer. Have you ever been to a pokemon center?"
"No. What's that?"
"Its a place where you can heal your pokemon. You can also stay there and sleep 
or eat for free. Plus there are PC's, phones, and a lobby where trainers talk 
about the newest things and trade pokemon."
"Neat. Where might I find a pokemon center?"
"I'll show you. Follow me." He led me to a red and white building."Here it is."
"Thanks, mister."
"Call me Captain Shomee, youngster."
I walked in the Pokemon Center. It had a counter where a pink pokemon was 
standing by a kind, red haired nurse. "Hello. I'm Nurse Joy. Welcome to Viridian 
City Pokemon Center. How may I help you?"
"I need you to heal these pokemon." I said giving Nurse joy my 3 pokeballs.
"They'll need to stay overnight. Please follow Chansey to the guest rooms."
"Chansey the happiness pokemon. Chansey are almost always found only in pokemon 
centers where they help Nurse Joy's"
"Chansey."
I followed Chansey up 2 flights of stairs when she stopped. The door to the room 
was gold and had a title that said 'Champion's Children Room'.
"Why are you stopping here? I'm not a champion's child?"
"Yes you are." Nurse Joy said behind us. "Your father is on the Elite Team in 
Baltivik."
"What's Baltivik?"
"A huge country south of Hoenn. The young trainers start at a place called 
Pearls of the Sea. That city is a hundred or more islands."
"Really? What else do you know about Baltivik?"
"There are 5 skyports. Only 1 is not accessible to humans. The safari zone there 
is the Eevee Plains, which spans over half of the area of the country."
"Wow!" I said "I don't even know my father, though."
"It's not your fault. Pendl Kamorae, Giovanni's brother took you from your home 
when you were 2. You were put in a orphanage near the biggest police 
headquarters. Your whole family looked everywhere but there, because they 
thought Pendl wasn't that stupid, but they were wrong."
"Do you know where I can buy pokeballs?"
"Down the street at the Pokemon Market. Just 2 doors down the street."
"Ok. I'll be back."
I looked as soon as I got out of the pokemon center. Sure enough, there it was. 
Just 2 doors down. Iwalked to it and went in.
"Do you need anything, sweetie."
"Basic medical pokemon kit and 6 pokeballs."
"500 pokedollars."
"Here," I said giving her the money.
She handed me the package. I went back to the pokemon center. There I saw nurse 
Joy. 
"Here you are. All your pokemon are fully healed." 
"Thanks."
I walked out and went to the gym. I turned the knob to the gym it was locked. 
"What gives?"
"The gym leader is not here. Go through Viridian Forest and when you exit, you 
will be in Pewter city. Find the gym and battle Brock. Good luck." an old man 
said.
"Oh... Ok. Thanks alot, mister."
"No problem. Good luck."
"Here I come, Pewter City. You better watch out!"
