	I walked back over to the campfire with my newly caught Spearow. "Go 
Speary."
	"Spearow?"
	"Are you hungry? I've got fresh pokechow."
	"Spearow?"
	I got a sixth bowl out of my bag. Then I put some homemade pokechow in the 
bowl. I dug in my bag for my berry pouch. It was empty. Then I looked for my bag 
of pokeblocks. It was also empty. I asked my sister and Lance, "Do you hve any 
spare berries or pokeblocks?"
	"Here." Riley said, giving me some pink and blue pokeblocks.
	I crushed the pokeblocks in Spearow's food. Then I put the bowl in front 
of Spearow."Here you go. This should taste good. My mom made it."
	"Spear?" He pecked at the food, unsure what to think. He nibbled at it 
then took a bite. "Spear. Sppearow!" He said happily.
	Lance watched me work with Spearow. He watched how I got Spearow to eat. 
"How'd you do that?" He asked.
	"Do what?"
	"Work with your pokemon so well."
	"I guess living with Rockets since I was two showed me to be kind not 
harsh to Pokemon."
	"What?"
	"Didn't you know that I was kidnapped at age two by Team Rocket?"
	"Lance, you helped look for her and led Terry and dad on wild goose chases 
in nests of legendary birds. Terry told me over the phone." Riley said.
	"Really? You helped look for me?"
	"Yea. I was Chris's protege and once he left Johto-Kanto elite four, when 
Chris left for Baltivik to be Champion, I was his protege so I got to be 
Champion at age twelve."
	"That's why your Champion? I never knew nothing about my dad until I met 
Viridian city's Nurse Joy."
	I picked up the forgotten bowls and spons and headed toward the stream to 
wash them. "Sydney. Let me wash them." Riley said.
	"Ok. I heading to wash them so I could catch a water type."
	"Let me do them and you go catch a water type."
	"Alright." I headed into the woods toward the stream. I whistled. My 
pokemon came toward me. "Let's go catch a water type!"
	They ran ahead. Pichu stood at the edge of the water. Spearow and Pidgey 
were dive bombing the water. Pichu then jumped into action. She thundershocked 
the water. "Piiiiiiiichuuuuuuu!"
	"Dratini."
	"What's that?"
	"Dratini. the dragon pokemon. Long considered a mythical pokemon until 
recently, when a colony was discovered living underwater."
	"Alright. What's good against dragons?"
	"Other dragons and ice." Lance said.
	"Lance? Why are you following me?"
	"I was out for a walk to find Riley."
	"Oh." I looked at Pichu. "Water conducts electricity so... Pichu use a 
spark attack."
	"Dratini?"
	"Go Pokeball!"
	"Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Koosh!"
	"Dratini."
	"Pichu, thunderbolt."
	"Dratini?"
	"Go Pokeball!"
	"Beep. Boon."
	"Dratini's mine! Oh wow I caught a Dratini."
	"Congratulations."
	"I thought you were going to go find Riley."
	"Well I wanted to watch you catch Dratini since I love dragons."
	"I know."
	Riley came up to me. "Well...did you find a water type?"
	"I found a Dratini."
	"That's great. Hey Lance. Could you give Sydney a ride to Pewter?"
	"Why?"
	"Because she's my sister and I say so and that's where we're going."
	"Oh. But why caint she walk?"
	"I want to help her out. You can't just make her walk to Pewter."
	"Yes I can."
	"No you can't." She turned to me. "Sydney, get on."
	"Ok." I said.
	Within minutes I was in Pewter. I jumped off Dragonite. There in front of 
the Pokemon center was Professor Oak. "Sydney. How good of you to join me. You 
have impressed me. You left second to last and have beat every single trainer 
that started the same day as you to here."
	"Who came after me?"
	"A boy by the name of Terry Ketchum, I do believe. I had never seen him 
before."
	"Where is the gym?"
	"Uhh..Hmmm. I'm not real sure. It's been ages since I've been there."
	"Okay. See ya." I walked into the pokemon center and went over to some 
telephones and dialed mom's number. 
	"Hello?"
	"Hey mom. I'm in Pewter city."
	"How are you?"
	"I'm good. You'll never guess who I met in Viridian Forest."
	"Who?"
	"Lance. And Riley Ketchum, my sister."
	"Wow. So you're doing fine."
	"Uh-huh. I love you. Bye."
	"Bye-bye."
	I went over to the Nurse at the counter. "Hello. I'm Nurse Joy."
	"Do you remember me?"
	"I'm sorry, no. You must be talking about my sisters in Viridian and 
Viridian Forest. We all look alike, so everyone confuses us for another."
	"Oh. Can you heal my pokemon?"
	"Of course. Chansey will lead you to a room to spend the night."
	I followed the pink pokemon up the stairs to a room. There I got my night 
gown on and went to sleep.
