            His hands are bleeding by the time he is finished, scrubbed raw. He’s sure the skin is peeling, but he doesn’t care. He glances at the bar of antibacterial soap, wishing that it were enough. Then he reaches for his gloves.

            Germs are everywhere. This is one of the hardships of camping out. He hates germs, he hates them so much! At least in Pokemon Centers, they have clean sheets and lots of towels. If he didn’t love his Pokemon, there is no way he would be a Trainer. It’s filthy, living in the dirt and dust.

            Nurse Joy smiles as he leaves his Center. He paid for all his Pokemon to get groomed at the haircut brothers, so they are sparkling clean, without a spot of grime anywhere. That is good.

            Richie gives them hugs, and then goes to get ice cream, reminding himself to buy antibacterial lotion before he leaves Goldenrod.
