Surge had been waiting for fifteen minutes outside of the café when she showed up. He took her in – shiny blonde hair, big blue eyes, a clueless expression, and a nice rack that barely fit into her little black dress. She had on high heels, also black, and sheer pantyhose. He thought he saw a hint of lace, but tried to ignore it.

“I’m sorry I’m late for our date!” She chirped.

The military man resisted the urge to scowl. “This is not a date.” He stated flatly. “This is a Gym Leader meeting. Did you bring your monthly report?”

“Ooh…” Daisy pursed her lips. “What’s that?”

What in the name of all that was holy had possessed the government to hire this bimbo as a Gym Leader? “You know, how many Trainers defeated you, how many Trainers you defeated, how much money you gave out, that packet?”

            She blinked.

“I never knew about anything like that!” She exclaimed.

Surge resisted the urge to slap her. “What the hell was Brock thinking? He was supposed to give you all the information two months ago.”

Daisy blushed. “We, um, got distracted…”

He snorted. Women! They were so unreliable.

“Then give it to be tomorrow.” He snapped. “I’ll pick it up and turn it in to the President for you.”

“But…” Tears began to fill her eyes. “I’ve never done this before! What if it turns out wrong?”

“Your funeral,” Surge did not even bother offering to help. Airheads should suffer the consequences. He began walking away, heading for a bar. He needed a drink after dealing with this woman.

She stared after his retreating back, speechless. That was the first time her charm had failed on a man!

Glumly, she returned to the Gym. She had better do that paperwork, then…

I'm not sure this counts as a pairing, but I was interested in how these two characters would interact.
