“Chocolate?”

Red blinked, before he took the candy bar from Lance.” Thank you.” He said, biting savagely into it. Caramel cream oozed over his tongue and he sighed. “Was I really that obvious?”

“Perhaps not to those ignorant fools in the audience, but I could sense it.”

“I don’t understand.” He fumed. “Why do they come listen to me lecture on pollution if no one ever does anything about it?”

Lance shrugged. “Such is one of the mysteries of life.” She decided not to mention fangirls.

He took another bite of his chocolate bar. “It makes me grumpy, Lance.”

“Oh, of course love. That’s why I’m here to cheer you up.”

Red’s eyes lit up slightly, and Lance pulled him into a kiss, tasting innocence and chocolate. He whimpered as he leaned into her embrace, sighing.

“I’m glad I have you. It makes everything bearable.”

Lance just smirked.
