Ash sneezed. Gardenia giggled as she patted the earth down around a small Pecha berry shrub. It was nice of him to volunteer to help her.

He was such a nice boy.

Ash added another lump of fertilizer to the row of Cornn berry bushes and patted it down well. “Achoo! Um, Gardenia?”

“Yes?”

Another sneeze cut him off. She handed him a handkerchief, watching as he mopped his watering eyes.

“You’re really good at this.”

She colored slightly. “Thank you, Ash.”

The Pallet trainer grinned, unaware of what he was doing. “No problem!”

Now if only he weren’t so clueless!
