“Tadaima.” Red called, as he took off his sneakers next to the door, recalling Pidgeot to her poke ball with a flick of his wrist.

“Okaeri nasai.” The Dragon Master replied, as the Champion entered. “We were not expecting you for another week. Did something come up?”

Red nodded, tight-lipped, eyes hard. “Of a sort.”

“Tell us about it.” Lorelei said, coming out of the kitchen with a plate of tea and cookies. Red’s eyes lit up, and he settled himself comfortably on the couch, cuddled between Lance and Lorelei.

Lance said nothing, as Red took a few deep breaths. “You know how the Aquamarine League has a female Champion?”

“Did she make a move on you?” Lorelei asked.

Red flushed and nodded, coloring to the tips of his ears. “It… it was scary.” He confessed. “I mean, we were total strangers and then she tried to kiss me and I ran out of the meeting and then I found that she had booby trapped my room and I had to use Sneasal to Cut me out of the net and I decided that I couldn’t negotiate with her so I came home!” He took another breath, as Lance passed him a cup of tea and Lorelei chuckled quietly.

“Sounds like you had an exciting day.” Lance said. “I must admit though, I’m slightly… jealous.”

Lorelei rolled her eyes and stood, as Red blushed. “I-I see…”

“Want to make it up to me?” The Dragon Master purred.

Red just grinned and kissed him.
