Ash fumed as he watched Paul walk away. What a creep! Even if he had lost to a trainer like that, he would never give up, ever! Pokemon were supposed to be friends! He sighed as he plunked down on a bench.

What was the chance he would run into him in Jubilife City and lose another match? How could he have been so unlucky?

A shadow fell over him, and he scowled. “What is it now?” He muttered grumpily.

“Wow, I never expected to see you here, Ash.”

Wait, that wasn’t Paul’s voice! “Lance?” Ash smiled.

The older trainer smiled at him, cape ruffling slightly in the breeze. “I came to do a trade over the Global Trading System here. Fancy seeing you again, Ash! How have you been?”

            Ash sighed. “Not so good.”

            “Want to talk about it?”

Lance would understand, wouldn’t he? Ash scooted over to make room for the pink-haired man on the bench. “I lost a match.”

            “Well, it happens.”

“Stupid Paul. I tied with him once and lost to him twice… Lance, is it wrong for me to want to make friends with pokemon?”

The Johto Champion’s eyes widened. “Not at all. I think it’s great, Ash.”

            “Really?”

“Really. You obviously treat your pokemon well. Remember in Houen, when you saved your Pikachu from Groudon and Kyogre?”

            Ash nodded mutely.

“You look down.” Lance said. “Wait here.”

He returned with two chocolate ice cream bars, handing Ash one. Ash blinked at the gesture, but took one.

“Thanks, Lance.” He bit into orange cream on the inside. “I… just don’t like losing. And Lance, he treats his pokemon like dirt! Why can’t I defeat someone like that? Am I that bad of a trainer?”

“Perhaps you just need more experience?” Lance suggested.

“Maybe…” Ash scowled. He took another bite.

Lance said nothing as he licked the bar meditatively. It was quite unlike Ash to be depressed.

Ash threw the Popsicle stick into a nearby trash receptacle, and sat back down next to Lance. For some reason, he was feeling strange, watching Lance eat that…

“Maybe I can cheer you up a bit…” Lance suggested, before he leaned over, kissing the surprised boy.

Ash tasted chocolate orange and something else. He turned bright red.

            What…

            Lance grinned. “Did that help?”

“A little?” Ash ventured. It wasn’t the first time he’d been kissed, but it felt a lot better than when he was kissed on the cheek.

“Would you like it if I did more?”

Ash nodded. Why not? Lance was nice. He wouldn’t hurt him, would he?

“Follow me.” They walked back to a motel. Lance took a key card out of his pocket and slipped it into the slot, opening the door.

Ash sat down on the bed. The blankets were scratchy and tan-covered, but after he pushed them off, Lance assured him that the sheets underneath were clean, and they were, starched white.

He kicked off his shoes and socks, wondering what would happen next.

“Take off your boxers and your jeans too, unless you want them to get dirty.” Lance told him.

Ash flushed, wondering how Lance knew what kind of underwear he was wearing. He obeyed.

“Whenever you want me to stop, tell me.” Lance said, and that was when he leaned down and licked the head of Ash’s cock. Ash jumped, not expecting that. It was weird, but also kind of good…

Did he want to do this?

Lance didn’t stop, slowly moving his tongue up and down Ash’s length, and Ash decided that he most definitely did not want Lance to stop any time soon, at least not until… Oh!

The boy threw his back with a groan as he spasmed. Lance chuckled, licking strings of come off his face. Ash was so cute.

Ash blinked a few times after it was over. Did this mean he was gay?

Well, what did it matter if he was? That had been awesome!

            “Better now?” Lance teased.

He nodded, before popping the question. “Does…”

            “Does what?”

“Does this mean I’m gay?” Ash blurted.

Lance raised an eyebrow. “That depends. Technically, no, since I didn’t take you, but if you want my guess, I think you’re bi.”

            Ash crimsoned. “I see…”

The Dragon Master pulled him onto his lap and kissed him again. “You are sinfully adorable, Ash.”

            “Why?”

“Your naiveté is charming.” Lance grinned.

Ash just nodded. They chatted a bit more, before he checked his watch and had to leave. He had promised to meet Brock and Dawn at the Pokemon Center.

            “L-Lance?”

            “Yes?”

“Can we do this again some other time?”

            “We’ll see.” Lance smirked.

Ash grinned, and ran off. “Thanks! Bye, Lance!”

Lance waved, and made a mental note to thoroughly humiliate any trainers named Paul he came across in the future.

End Fic

Completed 9/17/07

I only watched the first 9 or so episodes of D/P. It’s not very interesting… I just don’t like Pokemon anime much.

Hehehe, no, they’re not in love yet, but Lance can be charming! And Ash is dense! Plus they’re not rivals or enemies, and Lance saved his life at least twice, so… ^^
