“Hello, Steven? This is Wallace.” A pause. “I’m reminding you of our engagement for tonight… yes, yes, I know you’re probably very busy. In any case, I will see you at six-thirty in front of the Mauville City Hotel, all right?”

His PokeNav beeps, but Steven pays it little attention. There’s a Sun Stone that’s partially buried nearby, and he needs to retrieve it. He nods to his Beldum, who flies over to help excavate.

Wallace isn’t worried, per se. He smiles as he hangs up his phone. Steven will get the message.

And if he forgets, well… a sly smile covers the Water Gym Leader’s face. If Steven forgets, tonight may well be very interesting.

No, he’s not worried at all.
