Red doesn’t like wearing glasses. Even if Misty grins and tells him they look cute, he doesn’t like them at all… after all, who ever heard of a Champion needing glasses? Perhaps he should get contacts.

Sure, Lorelei wears them, but they compliment her outfit well, and not his!

“… You seem down.” Lance comments, dropping by with a stack of paperwork. Red rolls his eyes and sighs.

“It’s thanks to that blasted paperwork that I even have these! How do you manage, Lance?”

The Dragon Master smirks. “You don’t really think my eyes are this ugly shade of brown, do you?”

“You mean…?”

“Yes.”

“Damn.”

“Sorry, Red, but it’s something all Champions have to deal with. You’ll get used to it eventually. Besides, I think they look cute on you.”

“Y-You do?” Red asks.

Lance grins as he leans in closer. “Mmhmm.” And before Red knows what is going on, Lance is kissing him and it’s wonderful.

Hmm.

Maybe he won’t toss the glasses after all.
