There was dirt smudged on Red’s cheeks. Lance raised an eyebrow as the Champion wondered in taking in the crumpled piece of cloth in one hand, the muddy wet patches on his knees, and the dripping hair.

“Should I not ask what happened?”

“You know everything even if I don’t tell you.” Red groused. “Is anyone using the shower?”

“Considering that we share a suite and I’m not in it, no.” Lance said curtly.

Red nodded and slouched into the bathroom, leaving a trail of muddy water behind him. Lance rolled his eyes and went to grab the mop. At least Red hadn’t dripped on the carpet…

Red scrubbed at his skin furiously, anger evident in every line of his body. It wasn’t fair! Just when he had decided to tell Giselle how she felt, she admitted that she was with another boy! And she had hidden it throughout their entire three-month dating period!

            That little bitch…

“Bad day?” Lance asked innocently as Red exited.

            Red glared. “Yes.”

“I don’t suppose there’s anything I can do to help?” The Dragon Master continued in the same tone.

“No.” Red growled. He knew he was being unfair, but he was grouchy and he had perfectly good reason to be irritable!
“That’s a pity,” Lance said, and before Red knew what was going on, the Dragon Master had pushed him to the floor and was straddling his hips.

            “What? Get off me!”

“Why?” Lance purred, and leaned down and kissed him.

Red tried to suppress his hormones, but was wholly unsuccessful. “You-you want to… you’re serious?”

            “Why wouldn’t I be?”

“But I’m not ready for this! I just broke up with Giselle and…”

“Red,” Lance’s voice was cold, but nice, like a splash of water. The daydream was over. “Did you really love Giselle?”

Well no, but that didn’t mean… he wanted… with Lance…

Oh, whom was he kidding? He did want.

“I knew you’d see it my way.” Lance smirked. “Now then, what would you like to do first?”

            “Let me up.”

            “As you wish…”

Red waited until Lance climbed off him, before he snagged the trainer’s collar and yanked him down for a kiss. “Let’s start with this.”

            Lance chuckled, and complied.
