The attack came without warning. The table rattled, spilling coffee and porcelain cups to the floor, as a few of the gym leaders ducked underneath and tried to hold on, while the others just stared in shock.

“Get down!” Lance cried, and Red obeyed without thinking. The Dragon Master draped his cloak over both of them and hissed a command. Blue energy coalesced into a ball around them. Some variant of Reflect, then…

“Don’t move.” The Dragon Master hissed.

Red frowned, confused, but obeyed. Moments later, footsteps sounded.

“So this is what the Elite Four and Gym Leaders really are…. Worthless.” A voice spoke.

“You see? I told you it would work.” Another voice said. That one was familiar. Red almost gasped out loud, but Lance slipped a hand over his mouth.

            President Goodman!

“Yes, natural disasters are of course, regrettable, but no one will know.”

“But sir…” Another voice spoke. “They aren’t all here…”

“It matters little. So what if a few got away? The others are all dead?”

            “What?”

“Did you think the earthquake was my only plan? All of the surfaces here were coated with poison. It’s Arbok Venom, but no one will think to check now that Koga and Aya and Janine are all gone…”

            A muffled thump sounded.

“Oh, so a few of you did survive. Well, being crushed under all those bricks can’t be good for you. So really, it was a mercy killing.”

Red felt as though he was going to be sick, but Lance still held a firm grip on him. Besides, it would be dangerous going out there, right…?

“Sir, I don’t see the Champion anywhere.”

“He’s probably buried under that heap over there. We’ll need pokémon to move it properly.”

Oh no! If they came here, then…!

Lance’s eyes narrowed as he took a tighter grip on Red. The flash of blue light caught Goodman’s attention, and he cursed loudly.

“Which idiot was supposed to block pokémon from teleporting! Damn it, that must have been Sabrina!”

“But sir, she was insane up until a few years ago! No one will believe her!”

“You’re right.” The man said, after taking a few deep breaths to calm down. “Very well then. But if you see any of the gym leaders wandering around, kill them.”

            “Yes sir!”

            “I… it can’t be…”

Lance handed Red a blanket, watching as the Champion continued to shiver uncontrollably. “I know.”

“I’m scared, Lance… what if they found out we got away… then, they’ll try and kill us too… what did we ever do wrong?”

“We didn’t do anything wrong.” Lance reassured him. “They are the ones who have done wrong. And I swear by Lugia, they will pay for it…”

The others were dead. Clair and Lorelei, Agatha and Karen and Will, Sabrina and Morty, Erika, Falkner, Bugsy, Koga, Aya, Janine…!

The list of casualties piled high, and as Red watched the news, he was startled to notice his name there as well.

Did that mean… they thought he was dead?

What would happen to the League now?

Without the leaders, the League swiftly dissolved. The Dragon Master held the Champion close as he sobbed, wondering what would happen to the pokémon left behind, the others who had not been able to escape…

            “I…I want to…”

            “I know.” Lance told him. “I know…”

“We can’t let them get away with this, Lance. We can’t!”

            “I know.”

“What are we going to do?”

Lance’s eyes were hard, and he looked Red straight in the eye as he spoke. “What would you be willing to give up, Red?”

            “What do you mean?”

“How strong is your desire to make things right?”

            “I…I don’t understand…”

“What would you sacrifice to save Kanto from itself?”

That he could understand. What would he give? His pokémon? His position? Maybe… even his life? He shivered.

            “I don’t know…”

“Well, I know.” Lance told him. “So I’d better do it myself.”

“What do you mean?” Red asked. “You’re not running off to save the world, are you? Because if you are, you’re not leaving me behind!”

“We’ll see.” Lance said, as his form began to shimmer blue, starting with his eyes. “Hang onto me, all right?”

Red nodded, and then they teleported again.

They winked into existence on the roof of Indigo Plateau.

“We don’t have much time.” Lance told Red. “Now, listen to me. This is very important. Don’t let anyone enter the pentagram I’m drawing until after I tell you it’s all right, understand?”

Red released his pokémon. “I do. So I’ll just keep everyone away while you use your funky magical powers to save the day? Sounds good.”

            “Pretty much, yes.”

Lance clasped his hands to his chest and began to chant while alarms began to sound. President Goodman cursed as he saw the video cameras.

So they were alive! Damn it!”

With that, he and his pokemon rushed upstairs.

Pikachu’s Thunderwave paralyzed the first few that came through the trapdoor, but not the others. A Pidgeotto went flying off the roof as Aeroy’s Hyper Beam smacked into it, and Gyarados happily sank his teeth into a Jigglypuff with a Bite attack.

Lance continued to chant as more pokémon poured onto the rooftop. Red cursed and ordered a Hyper Beam sweep as he spotted what looked like Lorelei’s Jynx and Cloyster among the combatants. Curses!
Had they stolen the dead Elite’s pokémon and brainwashed them?

It would be cruel, but possible…

“Lance, I can’t keep it up much longer…” Red warned, as Venusaur protected Pikachu with a barrage of Razor Leaf, before shrieking as an Ice Beam impacted her flower bulb.

Lance did not appear to hear Red’s words, but his clothing was shifting, bleeding into robes of pale white… and on his forehead, a symbol began to glitter…

            … Death?

“Now.” Lance spoke, and Red hastily jumped inside the pentagram. All of his pokémon suddenly vanished, but so did the pokémon of the others.

Lance wrapped his arms around Red’s waist with a fond smile as he stared at the men, who had also been sucked into the pentagram. All of a sudden, they all began screaming in agony, clutching their faces as skin melted away from bone…

“Shh…” Lance whispered, as he began to nibble on Red’s neck. Red was horrified to find he growing aroused, even as the men melted away to nothing. The Pentagram glowed then, spreading out, the white lines of it’s pattern expanding…

“You’re going to kill everyone, aren’t you?” Red asked, dreamily, feeling Lance’s hands slip into the front of his pants and free his straining cock. He arched up into that touch eagerly, feeling Lance’s fingers flick over the tip.

“Yes…” The Dragon Master crooned, even as he lifted his hand and tasted spilled pre-cum.  Red trembled against him, as wind whipped around them, the cool temperature blazing his lust into furious flames…

“But you won’t let me die, will you?”

“No…” Lance purred, as Red gave a ragged groan and convulsed, splattering the ground with his seed. Lance laughed, and the pentagram’s area expanded further. Slick fingers moved to his crack, slipped inside him as he moaned, straining to the tips of his toes, feeling power gathering inside his body…

Lance freed himself, and positioned Red as he pistoned in and out of the younger boy, hearing cries of mingled pain and pleasure. Red could feel life humming inside of him, just waiting to be unleashed, and he complied, screaming his surrender to the skies as Lance gave one final thrust and shot his load deep into his bowels…

The pentagram exploded, and he felt as though he could rule the world, as he gyrated wildly on Lance’s cock, wanting more, more…!

Stars exploded behind his vision and then he knew no more.

When he woke, Lance was holding him, and he sighed, leaning his head against the Dragon Master’s shoulder.

            “Is it over?” He asked.

“It’s over.” Lance reassured him. “Everything will be all right now.”

            And Red believed him.
