“Yes, I gathered that.” Lance said. “But was it really necessary to fling your book into the fireplace? Those textbooks are rather expensive, you know.”

Red flushed sheepishly. “Sorry, Father.”

“It’s all the same to me. After all, you’re the one who has a test tomorrow morning. So unless you’re planning to fly out to a bookstore and buy a new copy at this time of night, you’ve just screwed yourself over.”

“I didn’t want to study more anyway, and tomorrow’s the final…I did pretty well on all the practical labs so I think I’ll pass.”

“Mm.” Lance said. “So what would you rather do now?”

“This,” Red said, leaning over and giving his father a kiss on the lips. “Since I’m already screwed, why don’t you screw me?”

Lance’s eyes glittered, before he pulled Red over the desk and into his lap. “I can deal with that.”

Red smirked.
