Warnings: Uh… none, actually, I didn’t even specify if this theme was het or shonen-ai. So um… romance?

They don’t wear wedding rings, or rings of any kind. They don’t invest in jewelry either, those tacky bits of cheap plastic and metal that tarnishes ever so easily. They don’t wear matching clothing, and they don’t coordinate their pokemon to act in synch. Their fighting styles are vastly different, shielding and heavy damage versus pure attack and lightning-fast speed, but what of it?

They don’t need to blend into each other to be in love.

Besides, gold sparkles in a black bird around his neck, trailing down to a locket of clear glass and a key, and the other also has a key, a bladed one, and as long as they are together, it is safe.

Every touch, every moment they are together – every memory made, and forgotten…

That is what binds them together.

And they live with it.
