They a perfect trinity, a triumvate, three in one, and they’ll never, ever leave each other. Red cuddles into Charlotte’s arms during a scary movie as Lance pets his hair. He needs his Aneki and his Aniki, to take care of him, in all ways, and he knows that without him, they’ll swiftly lose their sanity.

Red isn’t stupid. He’s seen what can happen otherwise. Frankly, he sees no reason to leave them. Charlotte and Lance can be soft and gentle, and play parents when he needs them to, and when he wants to be coddled, they never complain.

He thinks he is better off than many other people out there.

Charlotte is fire and Lance is ice, and those two elements fit so blindingly beautiful together. Not, of course, that he thinks of them that way. Polygamy is not his thing. Besides, it would probably ruin the tenuous balance between them.

After a minute, he tugs gently on Lance’s hair, and kisses the Dragon Master.

“What is it, love?” She asks.

“Let’s play…”

His wife turns to look at him, golden eyes glinting, as he gets up to dig out their toys. His sister just rolls her eyes, and gets up. Then she tells them not to be too loud, she needs her sleep. But, she’ll make French toast for breakfast, so they better not stay up too late either.

Lance chuckles, and agrees.

Yes, Red decides, he’s never giving this up!
