There’s something wrong. It’s dark and crawling up inside of him, a missing piece – no, a bottomless void, eagerly trying to devour the rest of him. Red is trying to quash the feeling, but he isn’t sure how to, and what he desperately wants to know is what the hell is going on!

He has the feeling that he’s forgetting something very important, but what?

            Can it possible be someone?

No, he does not think so. If he loved anyone, he would never forget her!

“Is it better this way, to keep him innocent?”

            < Of course… > Serebii says.

Lance pours her self another cup of tea. “If he has no heart, than he cannot be hurt. It makes perfect sense.”

Charlotte nods, helps herself to a scone studded with raspberries. “That does not make it any less of a pity.”

“If I can live without love, he can.” Lance speaks, though whether it is to reassure her self or the others is uncertain.

She can feel the metal cool in her chest. When Serebii announced that Red would not remember, well, there was no point in loving someone who didn’t love her back. She went to Charlotte, and her Father stopped her time while her fellow Guardian slit her chest and gilt her heart with lead.

Now, it did not need to beat.

            Now, there was no point.

Red knows none of this, but he still feels incomplete.
