The only reason that Brock enjoys going to the beach is because there are pretty girls in bikinis there. He enjoys sunbathing, but playing in the water is not as entertaining, especially since none of his Pokemon can join him. On the road, he is used to cold baths in whatever stream, pond or river is nearby.

It is nice being asked to stay in someone’s house overnight, but seeing a bathtub again brings back memories of life before he came out on the road with Ash. Are his siblings all right at home? Is his dad taking good care of them? Will his mom ever come home?

There are no answers, as he sinks into the warm water, closing his eyes to relax.

Well, he will swing by Pewter City later. Until then, he might as well take advantage of the plumbing available.
