Misty is such a fickle girl, Ash thinks, as he takes another bite of his raspberry ice cream. She’s almost like a female version of Brock, only not as extreme. He’s lost count of how many boys she’s shown interest in, but there’s a reason he is not her boyfriend – she’d probably get tired of him and find another soon enough.

Why go through heartbreak like that?

He takes another bite. This is good ice cream. Brock is hitting on Officer Jenny, but she’ll shut him up soon enough. None of the girls Brock has met on their journey so far has returned his affections, except maybe Suzie.

Maybe if Brock ever settles down, they’ll be boyfriend and girlfriend.

Ash doesn’t like anyone yet, but when he does find someone, he’ll be nice! And kind! And try not to brag too much.
