“Ash…” Whitney frowns. “How is saying that I resemble milk a compliment?”

Pikachu giggles. His Master still has a lot to learn about females!

Ash takes another gulp of his chocolate milk before answering. “You’re ordinary, but that’s good!” He protests when her eyes narrow. “I like milk.”

“And?”

“Milk has lots of essential nutrients?” Ash reads off the carton, cluelessly.

Pikachu shakes his head.

Whitney blushes. “I hope you’re not being a pervert.”

“Huh?”

She shakes her head. Living on a farm quickly introduces a girl to the facts of life, but Ash – does he really not know?

“Milk is yummy.” Ash says stoutly.

The Goldenrod Gym Leader chokes, and blushes brighter. “Okay! Stop! I’ll take it as a compliment.”

Ash grins, and doesn’t protest when she kisses him to shut him up before he puts his foot in his mouth again.

He’s such a lovable kid.
