“For luck,” Lance whispers, before she slips off into the night. Red blushes as he touches a hand to his cheek, surprised. It’s not wholly unexpected, since they are friends, but it still makes him burn.

It’s more skill than luck that makes him a Champion, but luck is nice to have. The Pallet Trainer counts himself lucky when the challenger’s Noctowl knocks itself out in Confusion, and smiles.

Afterwards, he runs into Lance’s room. The Dragon Master is training, but she pauses when she sees Red.

“Yes, what is it?”

“I did win!” Red hugs him, flinging his arms around the startled teen.

She quirks an eyebrow, amused. “I’m sure it had nothing to do with me.”

Red shakes his head, and before she has time to react, kisses her properly. He giggles, seeing those pretty golden eyes widen in shock.

“You don’t need luck either, Lance, but I’m going to give you some anyway!”

“I see…”

Dragonite huffs in annoyance, and the Elite Four’s Leader shakes her head. “You are too cute.”

The Champion beams, and they kiss again, one more time.

And the title is ‘Himitsu no Kissu’ which is Secret Kiss. Yeah, I know I’m throwing around lots of Japanese but since I’ve had to write a 2-page essay in Japanese, my brain’s on that track. Plus I have a huge midterm in Japanese tomorrow…
