There is no happy ending for them.

Red’s eyes are blazing gold, except normal gold shouldn’t be flecked with blood, especially not when his eyes are pure crimson. There’s a sword in his hands and a shield protecting him, but that isn’t what he wants. He’d rather be hurt and broken, if only he could have his siblings back…

But he can’t. There’s no way to turn back the clock, and he dodges another barrage of dark energy, feeling the hum of the Sacred Shield around him. It only takes a minute, two, before the Sword’s aim is true and Missingno is impaled on the tip, slowly disintegrating into dust.

No, he decides, before he feels the power ebbing away, there is no happy ending at all.
