            gNo.h Lance shakes his head. gHe suspects. I do not see how he could have recognized me though, seeing as hefs normally quite dense in this aspect. Lugia knows Team Rocket took advantage of it often enough.h

            The Fire Guardian frowns, as she faces Lance. gHe cannot possibly have awoken yet. We would have felt it.h

            Lance scowls. gAll he feels for me is lust. Nothing else.h

            gAre you certain?h

            gYou are my counselor no longer, Sha-san,h Lance snaps, but then he relents. gBut I have often needed a listening ear, and you have never protested my words. Still, it is true. Obviously, all he wanted was sex. Why else would he sleep with Gary every time my back was turned?h

            Charlotte nods, her eyes narrowed. gThe threads are unraveling once again.h

            gFate weaves a tangled web, but it is our Fate.h Lance sighs. gI just hope I never see him again. Once is enough.h

            He closes his eyes, and Charlotte turns away so he can cry in silence, if he wishes to do so.
