Ash woke to a warm feeling of being kissed. He blinked for a second, before he purred as he gazed up into his lover’s eyes.

“Morning, love.” Lance crooned.

“Morning.” Ash grinned. He felt Lance move, heard the creak of bedsprings, and beamed brightly as the Dragon Master lay down next to him.

“Better get up soon. You have a match in an hour.”

Ash grimaced. “That’s one part I hate about being Champion.”

“Could be worse, love.” Lance retorted, and Ash had to agree. “Now let’s see about a shower, shall we?”

Ash just grinned. The day promised to be fun!

Wasn’t it wonderful when every new day was an adventure?
