“We did it.” Red cheered, as Lance swung her around and kissed her. Their wings glittered in the darkness, and on their foreheads, the signs of their planets blazed in bright color, gold for Red and blue for Lance.

“Yes we did.” Lance smiled. Princess Ashline lay dead before them, and in their hands they held the Silver Crystal. Galaxia had failed. They had played their roles well, certain until all the other Senshi were dead, and then they had struck.

After all, they had guessed true.

Chibi-Chibi had held Galaxia’s own Star Seed, and now that she lay dead, well, so did the golden queen.

“First things first.” Lance said, as she summoned two crystals, one in amethyst, one bloody red. “We bring back the rest of our family.”

Red nodded, and as they focused the power of the Silver Crystal, Charlotte and Janine appeared, startled and completely healed.

“What happened?”

Charlotte half-smiled. “Well, I certainly never saw this possibility.”

“Are we safe now?” Janine hazarded, even as her eyes saw the golden bracelets adorning her foster parent’s wrists.

“As safe as can be,” Lance reassured. “Sailor Moon is dead.”

Janine folded her amethyst wings – clear like a dragonfly’s – against her back. “Really? Then…”

“Yes.”

A smile began to dawn on her face.

“No more solitary guardianship.” Charlotte grinned. “You two did well. Our trust was not misplaced, Leader.”

Red blushed as she hugged Lance. “Well…”

“Now is not the time for regrets. Let’s celebrate!” Janine cheered.

And they did just that.
