It’s quite loud on the battlefield, and there’s blood staining the front of her uniform, but she doesn’t care because the silver armor is the only thing saving her from death right now. Her eyes flash angrily as her Atlantis Tide attack slams into another wave of youma, disintegrating their bodies. Red is screaming, and the skies above crackle as her Heaven’s Fury shatters black lightning.

It’s almost ironical, black to defeat the darkness of what the demons have wrought…

Prince Gareth is dead, and Princess Ashline. They both lie crumpled on the steps, and Lance snarls in her mind as she calls fourth the power of her mirror, shielding Pluto from an attack. The Time Senshi gives her a grateful look before her Temporal Vortex attack slams into the masses in front of her.

They would be winning, but even if they won… what would be left?

The Kingdom of the Moon is falling…

Red’s eyes are a wicked blaze of crimson, and she meets Lance’s eyes as the last of the hordes close in around them, the three remaining Senshi of the Outer Solar System now standing in a triangle formation.

            It is time.

They hold up their Talismans, and their planetary powers blaze, and from their weapons come the child who will end this. Queen Delia is dying, and now, it is time to finish the deal.

            Saturn…

Her eyes are fathomless, and she nods, understanding. This has always been her duty. As her Glaive descends, the destruction spreads, and Red is only vaguely aware of whispered promises of reincarnation, as a white glow envelopes her, so warm after the chilliness of death…

She hopes she’ll see Lance again.

This is probably one of my very early Sailor Moon-esque fics. I will put up a timeline someday… until then, there’s just a lot of related drabbles set in the same universe…
