The universe is a deterministic place. Everything has a cause and effect.

Red knew this, of course. He hadn’t been sleeping in all his classes. However, hiding behind Kairyuu’s Light Screen defense while Wataru ordered Ptera to use Hakai Beam on the crazy man with the knife was not fun.

It had ruined his desk!

The man had been standing. As the Hakai Beam sent him flying, Red idly tried to calculate the speed and direction. At this rate, he’d be in the air for approximately half a minute before gravity pulled him back down to earth. It was all physics after all.

Wataru smirked. “So, safe now?”

“Hai!” Red threw his arms around his friend with a grin. Wataru fell backwards, with Red perched on his thighs, arms wrapped around his neck.

“Mm. And I suppose now you’ll be wanting to demonstrate some more psychology on me?”

“Why not?” Red grinned, running his fingers along Wataru’s cheek.

“I have no complaints.” The Dragon Master grinned back, as Red kissed him.
