Boy, it’s hard writing four or five pokemon stories at the same time! But at least it’s inspiring, right?

Ash: *grins* Aren’t I cute as a kid?

Shadow: Only because I make you that way, Ashy-boy. If I wanted to do so, you could be a teacher’s pet too, and a school bully to boot.

Ash: *Big teary eyes* NOOO! You can’t do that to me!

Shadow: Well in that case, respect the authoress, and that means no flaming, shocking, malleting, etc. (A.K.A. bow down to me Ash Ketchum!)

Ash: *questioning look* How can I mallet somebody? I’m a guy. And mallets don’t work on girls anyways.

Shadow: Never mind! *Winks* Anyways, thanx for reviewing, I don’t get many for this story though… I wonder why?

Ash: *puzzled look*

Disclaimer: Shadow does not own pokemon. And even if I made any profit off my fanfiction, which I don’t, Nintendo would probably take it, even though they’re filthy rich already.

Chapter 6:

A few weeks passed. Ash grew accustomed to school. He would go from eight in the morning to one P.M. every day, and then he would go home, do his homework, which was usually very simple, and then go play with Sunny. This arrangement suited him quite well. The only problem was that his mom was usually gone until four-thirty.

“Hi, Sunny!” Ash said as he walked home from school.

Hi Ash! Say, why are you all wet? Sunny asked, looking at his soaked t-shirt and jean shorts.

“One of the big kids at school pushed me into a water fountain.” Ash said.

Who? I’ll shock him for you! Sunny said, as sparks flew from her fur. * No one does this to my little brother! *

“Well, I’m not sure what his name is, but he has dark purple hair.” Ash said. “I’d better go upstairs and change.”

Yeah, take a bath too! Sunny said. I’ll keep you company.

Ash started the water running. When the tub was full, he peeled off his soaked garments and climbed in, sinking up to his chin in water. Sunny jumped in, sending water everywhere.

Ash and Sunny had a water fight, and when they emerged, the bathroom was soaking wet, as the influx of water from the tub had totally filled the area with wetness. So after Ash changed into dry clothes and Sunny shook herself out, they got the mop from downstairs and cleaned up the mess. It didn’t take very long to drain the bathroom.

“Well, what do you want to do now?” Ash asked, as he toweled his hair dry.

Why don’t we go outside and explore? Sunny suggested.

Ash looked at his watch. “Okay!” They grabbed some grapes and peanut butter cookies from the cookie jar, before leaving the house. They walked towards the forest outside of Pallet, keeping an eye out for adventure.

A while later, they found it… in the form of an angry old lady.

“How dare you trespass on my property?!”

“Eep!” Ash said, as he and Sunny ran for dear life, trying to avoid the tomatoes she was hurling at their retreating figures.

“That’ll teach you to steal from my garden!” She shouted.

“But we didn’t do anything!” Ash protested, as he and Sunny ran. Sunny zapped the tomatoes flying towards them with Thundershock.

We didn’t even know it was private property! Sunny protested in poke speech. This is uncalled for!

“I agree!” Ash said. They finally sought refuge in a small stream.

Ash giggled as Sunny splashed him. “I guess I’ll be taking two baths today.” He said, a bit morose.

Sunny shrugged as she enjoyed the soothing feel of the water against her luxurious fur, washing away all the tomato juice and skins. It was very relaxing. To her horror, she found herself yawning.

Ash was feeling a bit drowsy also. How had the river suddenly gotten so warm? It felt so soft, like a spell. His eyes glazed over and he toppled in.

The loud SPLASH! Woke Sunny up in a hurry. She quickly fished Ash out, shaking the weariness from his eyes. Ash spluttered, coughing water out from his lungs, but he still looked dazed.

Sunny tensed. * It most be that somebody trying to kill the chosen one! * She immediately pricked up her ears and looked around. Soon, she sensed a presence in the bushes nearby. Sunny erected an electric field around Ash, who was still recovering, before she charged into the bushes…and came face to face with a gigantic Golem.

The golem roared and charged. Sunny quickly ducked out of the way and retaliated with a Pin Missle attack, but most of the needles didn’t manage to penetrate its stony hide. The golem laughed and tried to tackle her again. This time, Sunny lured it into the water, before frying the soaked rock-type with Thunder Freeze. The golem turned into a block of ice and sank to the bottom of the river.

Sunny turned back to Ash, who was rubbing his eyes. She licked his face and then led him home. * The situation is getting dangerous… *
