Satoshi and Ash are _not_ the same person.

Chapter 5

While Ash set out for Viridian Forest, Satoshi and Lance took the shortcut and flew to Pewter City.

Within minutes, Satoshi had the Boulder Badge.

Then, it was off to Cerulean, but the gym leader was absent.

            Hmm…

“Do you think,” Satoshi shuddered, “_Misty_ might be the gym leader?”

            “It’s quite possible.” Lance said.

“Hm. Then let’s get the other badges first.”

            And so they did.

Well, let us not forget that Satoshi had almost three hundred different pokemon angels _before_ he hit this world…

            It was very easy.

Within two weeks, he had gotten the badges and was back in Cerulean.
< Maybe you should not wear leather, Deus. All the girls stare at you. >

“But it’s comfortable and I don’t care about them.”

< As you will. > Lance said, as Satoshi yawned.

“Lance, maybe I don’t want to go home?”
< True, there is nothing left there… >

< My mom… I think she’s dead, Lance. Otherwise she would have contacted me. >

            Lance nodded uncomfortably.

< You’re all I have, besides the other angels, but you were always my one companion. > Ash said, hugging him tightly.

Lucky Lance was in doll form.

            Otherwise, someone might pry…

            “Satoshi!”
Satoshi cringed. It looked like Misty had found him again. Oh, joy…

“Misty. Are you the Cerulean City gym leader?”
            Misty looked immensely pleased. “Yes.”

“Then I challenge you to a badge.”

            “Excellent!”

He was not happy when he got to the gym and was notified he’d have to change into swimming trunks since they were fighting in the pool.

            Oh well…

It was no odder than having to find his way through a maze of invisible walls in Fuschia, and fighting atop a volcano in Cinnabar…

            Misty grinned. “Let’s go!”

            “Minun, I choose you…”

Her Starmie stood no chance. Neither did her Staryu, which was weaker. Ash looked pretty wide-eyed himself.

            “Done.”

            “Wow…”

“Misty, have you ever heard of Missingno?”

“Missingno? That’s only a legend, but supposedly it lives near Cinnabar Island.”

“Thank you.” Satoshi blew her a kiss, and then he climbed aboard Pidgeot, and took of. Misty sighed dreamily. * What a guy… *

            Ash felt slightly jealous.

It wasn’t fair! It was like Satoshi had dropped out of the sky and was taking everything he wanted…

He had to get to the bottom of it!

And why did they look so much alike?

            Maybe Professor Oak would know…

            “See anything?”

Lance shook his head as they landed on Cinnabar’s east coast. “Nothing, Deus.”

            “Odd…”

“Missingno is supposed to be around here, right?”

Just then, a scream sounded. A black bulky creature was chasing a girl surfing on a Goldeen.

            Excellent.

            “There it is!”

Lance nodded, as Satoshi enlarged a poke ball and threw it at the creature. Surprisingly, Missingno offered no resistance.

            “Level zero?”

            “No wonder…”

            “Can we go home now?”

            “We can try…”

Focusing, both Angel and Deus concentrated, holding hands above Missingno’s poke ball. There was a glow for a minute, but other than that, nothing happened.

            “Shimatta!”

“Calm down, please, Deus. What do we have to go back to?”

Satoshi stopped fussing for a minute. “…Nothing…”

< Exactly. Please, calm down, Deus. >

Satoshi sighed. “I guess we’re stuck here, ne?”

< I’m not sure. Isn’t it unstable to have two of the same person in one area? >

            “You’re right…”

< I’m sure Professor Oak will figure something out. Let’s go see him. >

            < Hai! >

            “Professor Oak?”

“Ah, Satoshi, I was expecting you.” Professor Oak said. “I ran the scans, and strangely enough, the dimension you came from doesn’t exist anymore.”

            Lance cursed. < I knew it! >
            “Lance?”

< Do you think Robert would actually be smart enough to keep it running? I bet he found an angel to do the dirty work for him since he couldn’t admit he messed up! Destroy the evidence, ne? >

            Satoshi nodded grimly. “I see.”

“I’m sorry, Satoshi, but it seems you’re stuck here for now…”

Satoshi sighed. “I guess I’ll just have to live with it then…”

End Chapter

Completed 8/5/04

End Fic? I’m not sure; let me search for a secondary plotbunny.

I guess it’s the end then, if I think of something else I’ll add it later… this was mostly action/adventure with no romance, oh well. *sigh*
