Chapter 13: Time Jump @ phantomness.net

The rest of the year passed easily enough, and soon summer dawned. Gryffindor won the house cup, the bloody bastards, but then again, that was obvious.

After all… Everyone _knew_ , quite well, which house Dumbledore favored.

Ash went back to Indigo, with Harry in tow.

Lance teleported them back, ignoring the train.

And so it went on…and on…

Four years later

            “Kyogre! Spout!”

Patrick gasped in shock as his Groudon fainted. “Impossible! You can’t have Kyogre!”

            “Why?”

“Because! I do!” Patrick said, throwing out his own.

            < Master ball… > Lance observed.

< Tch. How useless. > Ash replied. Lance began disabling the master ball, while Ash swapped pokemon.

Harry was elsewhere, he had become a rather high Rocket Agent, and Giovanni had considered retiring from Team rocket.

< Still… if the legendaries can fall that easily, we are having problems. >

            Ash nodded.

            “Kyogre, Spout!”

            The Kyogre blinked.

“Looks like you just caught and didn’t bother to train it.” Ash said happily. ‘Well then… Pika-chan, you’re up!”

Pika-chan grinned and transformed, before using Flaming Thunder.

            She loved that move.

Poor Kyogre… well, not really. As soon as the attack finished, Kyogre fled. Literally. Who knew legendaries were that fast?

Lance muttered a few quick invisibility spells; those would last until Kyogre wanted someone to see him.

            Baka trainers.

She adjusted the silver bracelets on her arms and grinned. Well, at least she was Chosen.

Nearly impossible to beat, yes… that attribute certainly came in handy.

Harry came out a few minutes later, noticing a fainted trainer. “What happened now, Ashura?”
Ash grinned. “Well, someone wanted to attack Viridian Base with a handful of legendaries, so we took care of him…”

Lance was staring straight ahead, as her fingers wove and twisted and a web of threads glittered and sparkled.

            “She’s weaving?”

“Magic web.” Ash explained. “It’s one of her fortes.”

            “Oh.’

“Done.” Lance said, as the fabric of the dimension shifted and little pockets of safety wrapped themselves around the selected species.

            “Arigato, Lance-chan!”

“No problem.” The trainer sighed. “Soon, though, the reckoning will come… it will be a glorious day for some.”

            “And defeat for others.”

            “Yes.”

They shared identical smiles. No matter what, everything would work out in the end. Their bodies met in an ancient dance, and all worries were wiped away. Why worry, really?

END FIC

Why did I end it here? Because the plotbunny died! Sorry!
