Three teenagers of various short- sleeved shirts, baggy, faded away jeans, and shadowed wrist guards for the boy's hands lied their backs among the chilly concrete and crimson bricks that fled the building's strength, their hair, all messy and jagged, cascading at their shoulders as they gave each other smug glances. "Satoshi." An auburn haired fourteen-year-old glanced over at his friend within a sharp glare beneath his cerulean eyes, tugging at the fold of his sleeveless ebony shirt beneath his right hand's forefinger. "It's freezing. I thought you'd at least have the right mind to wear a jacket when you go for this kind of outing." Satoshi pushed his ebony hair from his eyes, and shrugged flippantly to his friend's triumph over his 'unsanitary' fall clothing; relaxing his eyelids into darkness when his knuckles scratched against the brick beneath his scalp. "So? I'm supposed to look convincing, ain't I?" "Yes, but I thought you were asking for money, not a jacket." He simply shrugged to his second response, and crossed his right leg over his slouching left one, letting the bottom of his pant leg sag as they folded. The breeze slowly nipped at his neck and watering eyes, but somehow did nothing to his frostbitten shoulders. His eyes pierced a gaze at the rusted tin can sitting among the threesome that were filled with three gleaming silver coins, and a few of brass. To the setting sun, they almost looked like gold. "Besides, we only have what? Forty yen?" Satoshi shot a sharp look at Kasumi who simply sat there looking annoyed and yet restless, "That's not even two percent of what we need to enter one of us in the tournament next year." "Actually, Toshi-chan." Kasumi fiddled with her tangled shoelaces. "We got the forty-yen from the gutter." Satoshi didn't look too pleased. "Besides, I think we would've gotten more if you hadn't sat there waving the can like a crazed idiot and cussing like a drunkard while we wrestled you to the ground. Am I right, Hiroshi?" When Hiroshi nodded, Satoshi grinned sheepishly. "That's what they do in the movies, ain't it?" Kasumi sighed helplessly, and slouched her shoulders, watching the flaming ball of blaze set in the distance. "You baka, we only have till Thursday to receive the money; and yet, it's already Tuesday..." Her eyes seemed to flicker like blazing fire. "God! Wasn't Takeshi and Shigeru supposed to be helping us?" Hiroshi beckoned her sigh, and followed up her sentence. "Yes, they were; considering Shigeru and Takeshi were also wanting to enter the contest with no money on their hands. Guess they were too busy." "Too busy for Pokemon matters?" Satoshi laughed bitterly, letting his elbow slide. "No way." The golden furred creature stirring in his lap gave a gentle purr to the comfort it was receiving next to his bare shoulders, Satoshi's hands occasionally coming across to its forehead. Kasumi gazed over at him, and yet again decided to let out her infamous sigh, making his head cock back in confusion. "Satoshi, besides the fact that me and Hiroshi are doing all the work while you're acting like a complete baka--" Satoshi's head lifted in insolence. "I'm not a baka!" Hiroshi looked over at the bickering twosome, and gave a hearty laugh; recalling how awful Satoshi was at this so-called game of 'beggar.' Even when they had started at the beginning of the day in the grungy streets of Tamamushi; searching for every gleaming object they could find that wasn't a cigarette lighter or candy wrapper, he had still been slacking off in common sense toward the people around him that held even the slightest bit of pocket change. That morning had been restless and hot; the disgusting smells of oil exhaust mixed in with gas and spay paint polluting the once fresh air of the streets. People jogged, hopped, walked; almost any transportation by foot possible, among the sidewalks, and carelessly left their shopping backs at their hips. Teenage thieves that smelled of tobacco and cow leather felt each car lock in the parking lots, and pulled open each one that remained open; stealing the accessories of an umbrella, to even money as high as fifty bucks. Since the police squad was often busy in such cities, none of them ever got caught, unless they robbed a nearby store that held in high profit. Satoshi had even been lazy that morning with those slumberous eyes of his; lying back in high thoughts against the alley way they had decided to play their little game at. Pikachuu, relentlessly doing the same, was curled at his chest; sleepily watching the publics stride past them without a thought. Even when they went down the gutter to look for at least a couple pieces of change to confine, Satoshi only succeeded in getting stuck in opening, and drowning his sneakers in the sewage. He had luckily only had gotten free when Hinorashi melted the metal plate holding the sidewalk accessory together. After that incident had happened, Kasumi went to the next thought of making Satoshi hold the can; which, apparently, only made it worse. He had stopped a slack-dressed couple near the Okonomiyaki shop in the middle of the city, and, without exactly thinking, asked for some money to give his Pikachuu a 'home.' Misunderstanding this situation, the couple actually walked off with Pikachuu--which made Satoshi, Kasumi, and Hiroshi run after them quite a few blocks screaming and cussing. After Pikachuu had been thrown back to them in a very rude tone of manner, finding out their plan to be able to afford to get into the tournament under trickery, each of the kids had been smacked upside the head with their belts and umbrellas--which resolved in Kasumi giving Satoshi an even harder smack later that morning. Hiroshi grinned at his friend's ignorance, and simply shrugged off their bickering, continuously watching the street for new takers. When Kasumi continued, she stopped in mid sentence when she felt a shadow over wrapping her own-- giving her head a lift into the air to face a rather flimsy-looking woman. Kasumi's cerulean eyes gave a leap at the hope of money, but soon beckoned the thought of staying silent about playing 'beggar.' The woman's silvery blonde hair rippled down close to her exterior across a beautifully, ornate dress of cobalt fabric and silver outlining, a golden trim running down the shawl of the dress as she would twist her popping hips. Emerald eyes shone from behind her flimsy bangs as she glared down at her almost evilly, almost as if searching for something on her only she could see. Hiroshi signlanguaged Satoshi to give him the rusting can at the sight of this woman, and, as the gleaming scrap of silver reached his hand, shook it to make the ends vibrate. "Ya need somethin' miss?" Her gloved, pallid hand brushed away at her bangs; knocking them aside to show them her evil eyes. "Not in particular." Satoshi, becoming quite curious that such a fancy woman was hanging by such an alley, crawled up her; brushing aside the various scraps of silk and blankets lying among their area. When he reached her high- heels, he looked up at her, and gave such a questioning stare, Kasumi thought she was going to die of embarrassment. When the woman made the most hideous glare possible out of her crooked eyes, Satoshi spoke in such a cheerful voice that Kasumi almost knocked him dead. "Well, ya must want somethin', or you would've stopped somewhere else!" She shoved her foot at his chest within a quick jerk, making his back give away to the blankets. He simply shrugged it off, counting that it was the fifth time he had been kicked while doing his bid of 'beggar.' "All I need to know of you insolents is if you've seen a teenage child by the name of Caro around these parts...I need to know urgently." Satoshi smiled, shrugged, and grabbed the tin can from Hiroshi, holding it up to her face. "Maybe I have, maybe I haven't. Give me twenty-thousand yen, and maybe I'll tell you." She sneered, and yet again sent him flying next to Kasumi with only a laugh of pleasure; knowing he had succeeded in annoying the woman. "I'm not going to be tricked by some garish brat." "Well," the tin can yet again rose to the air, "you never know if I actually know the answer..." Giving up on the young boy, she stuffed many assorted gleaming coins inside the tin, causing it to clatter continuously. Satoshi grinned, and again spoke enthusiastically, "Thank you very much, ma'am!" She glared with those evil eyes of hers. "Now where's my information, boy?" Satoshi's face cracked into a grin as he handed the tin to Hiroshi. "Nope! Never seen such a kid." The woman seemed to crack with anger as she stuttered back a few steps, steaming in anger as she soon took off somewhere in the distance. When she was gone in the wilderness of the shadowed city, Satoshi looked grimly at the can. "Look here, guys! Twenty thousand yen! That's half of what we need to send one of us to the tournament!" *~&~* kimi no yasashisa ni yudan shite mitari demo nama ni fuan ni nattari yaritai houdai yari makutte kita kedo demo yappa kimi no mune ga ii shinjiru shinjiaitai shirokuro hakkiri shitai hageshisa dake ja nai yasashisa dake ja nai... dakara semenai de kesanai de makenai de dakishimetai hito ha dare? wakatteru hazu ai dake yume dake kimi dake sore sae mo mamorenai ugoki da sanakya kizu tsuite mo kizu tsukete mo toomawarishite mo kokoro no mama korogaru mama tsuki nukero Through The Night It didn't take very long for Satoshi to get rather restless in this game. Takeshi and a kid named Marco, one of Satoshi's acquaintances from Pokemon Tech, came by around eight, but didn't stay long to help them collect money. They mostly threw all sorts of different stones at the metal dumpsters in a nearby ally, and soon joined up with passing Shigeru to go grab some cokes at the local gas station known as 'Mike's'; apparently named after the guy who owned it. Kasumi, Hiroshi, and Satoshi had joined them for a while, and had found out that the reason Takeshi hadn't been helping them was for the main matter of his new local job at a breeder's house in Yamabuki Sitei; and that he apparently didn't have time to enter the tournament anyway. Shigeru admitted that he had missed the local bus departing from Masara to Tamamushi that morning, and had sat at the bus stop for over an hour till an unusual lady by the name of Jurieh had given him a ride in her buggy. He also mentioned that the buggy supported two Gyaroppu that unusually had silver-like ebony flames that gleamed like thunder. Marco had told them that he heard of their little game, and just came to rub it in of how stupid they were acting over a tournament; and how they were wasting their time in such 'unimportant' matters; in which Satoshi interrupted to say it was merely a matter of opinion on that subject. After each of them got the varieties of Coca Colas, Sprites, and a Dr. Pepper, they went their separate ways--Takeshi to his work, Shigeru to see Ookido-hakase, and Marco to do whatever he had planned that day. Marco was just that kind of person in those terms--he slacked off a lot, and cursed anytime he felt it likely...adding to the part that he joked more than any human on earth could possibly stand. He seemed like a Hispanic/French counterpart, and held together light mahogany hair among dark skin of the sun. His eyes lied cheery, and seemed to almost shine like a drunkard's smile. He seemed to be like the type that guy high a lot by his act, but by the way he talked and swayed girls, you could tell he was just weird in the 'normal' ways. After becoming too restless for his own good, Satoshi eventually fell to slumber land, taking Pikachuu with him. *~&~* Satoshi opened one eye to the sudden sound of boot stomps, jumping to his feet within a clash of cracking leaves, causing Pikachuu to fly off his knee to battle position. "Someone's coming! Get the can so we can go see if he'll give us anything...!" He grabbed a loose, flowing sheet of silk from the corner of their 'begging' spot; and, as a cape, flew it over his back; tying the ends together around his neck. Kasumi and Hiroshi followed in this abundance of play, watching their friend take off to the cracking sound hidden within the night, his monster right at his heels. His cape frolicked like bird wings to the night air, and dashed turmoil. Hiroshi's black-wrist guarded hand grabbed the freezing, rusted can between his fingers, and went running after him, Kasumi soon following in this act. When Satoshi reached the edge of the sidewalk, sneakers plodding short rhythms into echoes among the ally way, he peered over the side of a building he had come across at the end of the concrete, spotting two tall, shadow-like men that seemed to take upon as their own shadows. One of the two men had dark, shadowy brown hair that cascaded far past his shoulders in twists and shaggy curls, resembling the act of dog fur. His eyes, evil shades of ice, blew icy wind among the air as clouds; an ebony over-jacket bracing over his chest in cuffs at his neck, releasing shiny leather where his legs came about. A cigarette lied tight in his mouth, glowing golden to the now darkened city. The embers shook to the ground like fireflies when the cigarette shook in his mouth, or when his fingers laid it down to his side to blow a smoke ring. His partner was a bit less cloudy, but still looked of a tobacco addicted nomad--red, blazing hair outstretching to the back of his neck like the style of Satoshi's ebony outstretched hair strands. Stout and a bit chubby at the cheeks, the man recoiled in a brown leather jacked that remained fog-like to the smoke the cigarette was giving out, the cuff hooded in cow-like fur. At their belt, one or two Pokeballs rested, ready to be picked for battle. When Hiroshi and Kasumi's footsteps came up from behind him, Satoshi beckoned them to stay silent, picking Pikachuu up in his arms. "They look a bit like hoods, don't they?" His whisper echoed a bit through Kasumi's ears as she nudged him to look for somewhere else to play 'beggar,' her right hand coming across his shoulder as Hiroshi gazed about at the two unusual men. "I think 'Toshi is right, Sumi-chan... I don't like the looks of these two men." Upon hearing two people agree on the same subject, Kasumi sighed and remained silent even to the whispers, watching Satoshi and Hiroshi slowly talk without the 's' in their words interfering their silence. The man with the eyes of ice bowed his cigarette, and gazed at his partner. "Are you sure this is where that jackass told us to go? I swore he told us Masara Taun over my cut heart." He huffed out a bit of smoke. "Besides, don't little boys like to travel the woods? Gather mud and smear it all over a girl's breasts?" When his partner shrugged, and casually leaned against a shopping window, the man continued. "I remember back when I was thirteen, I raped a ten-year-old girl after I pushed a handkerchief covered with her mother's blood inside her mouth. Quite a tike I was, wasn't I?" "Sure were, Kyoui. Wouldn't be surprised if you would do it again, ne?" The man let out a bitter laugh. "Sure would...only this time 'ol Bangirasu will be there to help me." His palm rubbed against the one monster ball at his leather, golden buckled belt, letting it feel his affection. "I feel quite content when my pants are being removed to resemble with another...the process so sweet." His partner grinned sheepishly and countered him with his own feelings. "I actually have a thing for the homosexual-type...never could quite get the right feeling for what guys call bishojos." He reached for a cigarette within a metallic clinging in his pocket, which Satoshi figured was probably filled with beer cans. He dragged the cigarette to his mouth, and lit it with a Herugaa imprinted lighter. When the ember started to glow, he took it from his mouth, and continued to speak. "I was thinkin' about goin' down to a gay bar tonight, but couldn't find the right time. A friend of mine tried to get me to go to a Fox Club, but of course, I denied it, since the sight of those girls make me queasy. Besides, we had this job, an all." "Of course." He reached for a gleaming object at his belt. "Gotcha a heater. Thought you might need it. Kyoui smiled. "Thanks. I've been needin' a gun ever since I robbed a liquor store downtown near Hanada...cops have been on my tail ever since. Had another partner like you who crumbled under the faded streetlight in that act...quite entertaining by prospect, ne?" "Yes...but then again, we still need to get our job done." "I noticed that, Myuo." He took a drag on his cigarette. "Heh--that bastard! Ruins all of our special time with s*** such as attacking us with a hanger...like that's ever stopped me before." He sent his cigarette flying, and got yet another. "But then again, he is the leader of the Roketto Dan." Satoshi and his friends had become speechless--here they were, watching two...murders plan out their next victim within a gun in their hand... Beckoning away swiftly from his friends, Satoshi pulled himself to the other side of the wall, and, with Pikachuu tucked toward his chest, started soundlessly moving toward the two men. "Satoshi!" Kasumi hissed in shock, trying to reach her hand out far enough to pull him back. "Get back here! If they see you, they'll...!" Ignoring his concerned friend, Satoshi continued down the brick wall, sneaking down almost like a shadow. Hiroshi pulled Kasumi back within a sharp grasp of his hands, and kept her still as he watched Satoshi make his way forward. "Wait...Myuo." Kyoui thrust his smoking cigarette to the ground, watching the embers sizzle out into the concrete. "I hear something..." Myuo looked up. "Oh really? Time to get out the heater, ne?" Kasumi's eyes widened as Hiroshi continued to hold her back with strong hands. "Naw. I think Bagirasu will take care of it." He grinned, and wrapped his palms around the monster ball, soon letting it tilt onto the ground. "Bagirasu, use your Kaenhousha to light the ally." The crimson and ivory sphere struck the air, and sizzled like a whistle--soon opening within a quick lash. From crystal light, a monstrous sea-green beast emerged, dagger-like spikes pushing up from its back among the deep blue markings impaled among its pallid belly. A bulky tail lashed the air as its jaw became engulfed with fire; letting it free once the embers sparkled like sprinklers at Satoshi's feet. His face shone ashen to the fire and scorching moonlight, the heat of the fire making his heart jump as he hugged Pikachuu closer to his chest. "It's just a kid, Kyoui. Just have your Bagirasu kill 'em." Kyoui's mouth widened into a sharp grin that made Satoshi's teeth sharpen into a glare. "Bagirasu, get that boy with your tail!" Bagirasu's tail lashed at Satoshi with immense force, causing a sharp whistle to strike the air as it flew. The end daggers of the tail struck Satoshi hard in the gut, causing him not only to wince and bleed, but also to knock him cold into the scorching blaze of the Kaenhousha attack stomach first. Slight blood from the upper section of his chest seemed to make the fire burn higher, only to make Kasumi and Hiroshi go crazy in not only motion, but by voice. Even as they let back a scream, the flickering flames seem to drown their voices. Pikachuu, who had flown from Satoshi's hands during his fall, and with a pounce, attached to Bagirasu's snout. Claws and teeth dug into the monster's as hard as rock skin, Bagirasu's snout flying in all directions to get this 'nuisance' off its jaw. "You bastard! Get off!" The monster continued to roar at the golden-furred rodent attaching its claws further and further into its flesh, growing angrier and angrier by the moment. "Bagriasu, get that mouse off with your Ida Nadare!" Bagriasu, with an immense force among its giant foot pad, smashed the concrete, and sent rocks flying up towards Pikachuu, making it not only fly off of Bagriasu's snout unconscious, but made it smack within bared teeth in a flood of rock and dirt. As the Bagriasu noticed Kasumi and Hiroshi's gestures towards their hurt friend, Satoshi, it immediately followed its Master's new orders to get them as well. As its teeth snapped open to reveal a ferocious Kamitsuku attack towards their throats, a wave of darkness surrounded the monster within a tight gesture of swelling umbra. The dark wave seemed to be glowing an eerie silver transported in black as it raveled up the Bagriasu like the ropes of a shadow. "That's it, Gyro! Get it with a Shinsoku!" A sharp black blur encountered the massive monster, and started continuously striking it as it used an attack almost as proportionate as Kousoku Idou. When the blur stopped, Satoshi and his friends noticed that this was no ordinary monster, but a...Myuu. But not just any other Myuu, but a Myuu that shaded perfectly within the darkness. The Bagriasu's body was now drowned in blood; chest bone striking out from its chest as drops of the crimson liquid splashed to the concrete; pale to the moonlight. A large hole was gashed in its chest as if punched by some sort of monster; blood aching from the wound as the skin easily started peeling off from its structure to reveal tender flesh that bled in even weaker ways. Hiroshi's stomach grew weak as he stared at the dying Bagriasu, watching as the dark Myuu sent the monster to death. As the immense creature closed its eyes, and fell forward to death, the owner of the voice that had called out the powerful attack 'shinsoku' jumped into Kyoui's sight, emerald cape flowing like water behind his back. His cerulean blue eyes shone like glimmering ice, and seemed to crack into pieces every time you stared at them for too long. Blonde hair rippled down his neck, and pushed outwards from his ears to form 'upside down' like horns. He wore a mahogany kilt that ran past his knees, and ran beneath a leather belt that hung loosely at his chest. Ebony boots expanded from his feet as a wooden chopped bow lied grasped in his hands. In another, an ornately decorated arrow lied in action position as his mouth prepared to speak yet again. "Finally Gyro and I have found you! You two have been causing mischief all over this city, and I'm ready to stop it! As you probably have already figured, Buraku and Akane are already on their way." He jumped up within a jolt of his legs, and pointed suddenly past the now grungy, ash covered street to the North, his shirt sleeve bowing off his arm as his fist continued to shake. "They're coming from the North, and I wouldn't be surprised if more of your 'friends' are with them. You see, when you join the opposite forces of the Roketto Dan, you have to get passed me before you depend on survival." The ebony Myuu ran to his side within a glide, and pushed itself onto the boy's shoulder, resting like a feather. It gave a short squeak, and then let its Master continue as his mouth shifted to a frown. "I actually feel sorry for your poor Bagriasu. Had to be killed only because it was being possessed by such a bastard man." His arrow ran to his bow. "But, as I always say, sometimes death is better than living...for both are sometimes hell, yes?" Kyou's face twitched as he stared at his dead monster in anguish, watching the blood poor like a river from its rotting flesh, ants devouring the flesh as a flimsy meal. To the moonlight, the blood looked like an ebony ocean that had washed over among a tsunami. Clear and subtle. "I'm not afraid of you. Ya see, Master Giovanni told me and Myou here all about you and your so called 'group,' and as far as I have to say, you have no chance against such matters as these." He grinned. "You really think so?" "I pretty much know so, Caro. Myou! Send out your Saidon!" Myou reached for one of the two monster balls at his leather belt, releasing a silver coated monster that roared and howled its name. A horn arose from its nose like a spike from hell; silver blood running like saliva down the point to its snake-like tongue. Its skin rose as hard as rock, and remained stained in the silver substance, rearing on two talon-covered feet that could stomp earthquakes into existence. The silver blood smeared the tar beneath it, and shone the moonlight across it like a mirror. A clawed foot stepped in it, making the blood splatter into the fire where Satoshi lied unconscious, making the flames hiss and pop into the tar like grease. Kasumi gave the boy a glance, and not only realized that this was who that mysterious woman was looking for, but he looked strangely familiar...when she looked at Hiroshi, she noticed he was probably thinking the same thing. "Kasumi..." Kasumi turned around to face Hiroshi, who was picking up the injured Pikachuu that slowly squeaked its name. "These men are part of the Roketto Dan..." When she simply nodded, he struck an eyebrow up; but turned her way to look at the fight. Caro simply struck a gloved hand in a pocket in his kilt, shaking his head relentlessly. "Gyro, you know what to do." The dark Myuu simply nodded, and took off within a dash toward the blood coated Saidon, a silver barrier concealing its body. "It's coming in for a Rokketo Zutsuki, Saidon! So get it with your Noshikakari!" The Saidon let out a vicious roar, and started charging at the impacting Myuu, its immense bladed claws slashing furiously at its ebony flesh. Gyro shook off the blow, and continued to head straight for the Saidon's chest, sending it flying backwards like a rubber ball. The Myuu giggled at its comeback, and fled over to Caro when the Saidon subsided, and reared back onto its talons. "Ugh...I don't need this right now...Saidon, power up with a Kiaidame." The Saidon stood cautiously while its muscles flexed, each bone in its body beginning to grow immensely. Caro found this the perfect chance. He aimed his arrow, and struck it out into the air; causing it to whistle. The arrow plunged into the Saidon's gleaming, right crimson eye, slashing it open to reveal more silver blood pounding down its snout. It roared, and began to charge uncontrollably in rage; horn raged high. Caro sighed helplessly as he dropped his bow, gazing at the pain controlled, now dying monster. "Gyro, Kazeokoshi." The Myuu jumped into the air, and let out a blazing wind from the air, sending it flying to the Saidon-- making it fall down in its own blood. The Bagriasu and Saidon's blood met together, blazing together into a disgusting crimson and silver mix. Myou looked horrified at this, giving Caro a death glare of unstatisfaction. Caro simply shrugged it off, and whispered something to Gyro, in which sent him over to Satoshi. After his short command, he picked up his arrows, and walked over to the trail of the mixed blood, putting a pale hand on the Saidon's hard, and bleeding snout. Pushing his fingers through the blood, Caro swiftly ran his hand across the snout; doing this process continuously as Kyoui and Myou stood glaring in anger at him. Gyro slowly glided like a dolphin over to the unconscious boy, landing on his back like a gentle flower on a summer afternoon; pressing its tiny paws on his back with massive force that its squinty eyes gray eyes began to close. The same eerie silver glow they had seen when it had attacked the Bagriasu shrouded around the monster and Satoshi at once, making them both gleam like the tin can once did. When the shine disappeared, the Pocket Monster opened its eyes, and squeaked a quick "Myuu" before gliding back to Caro. Satoshi slowly opened his eyes--feeling weak all over, and wet just the same. His ebony shirt now shone dark, and glimmered a bit within a hole in the chest. Fire flickered at his arms and hands, not burning a single piece of skin that it touched--only leaving slight heat that made his back shudder to its presence. Pain bolted in all joints of his body, and he could feel his blood flowing down his stomach like a Rizaadon's saliva. But as he examined, there weren't any cuts, gashes, or burn marks... While Caro continued to do his own process, Kyoui reached for the gun Myou had given him earlier at his belt, setting it behind his back. As Caro did this a sixth time, the Saidon began to glow a deep golden that resembled a sun-like color-- soon letting it drain pale as the monster started to fade away as if it were chalk being erased. Once Kyoui raised the heater, a dash ran between his legs [which happened to be Gyro], making him fall over as his fingers jettisoned across the trigger, making a shot run out. But, instead of making Caro lie dead as he had planned, Myou lied bleeding heavily on the chest across the concrete, dead when hit. Right when Satoshi, Kasumi, and Hiroshi were about to make their way out within a run with the money they had; a ferocious bark and a growl of triumph over whelmed their ears. A flash of orange galloped on claws up to Kyoui as another shot ran out; knocking him dead from the backside as a pale flashlight-light shone its eyes through the darkness. When the creature jettisoned back for another growl and bark, the threesome noticed it as a--- "Gaadei!" Satoshi's voice sounded hoarse at the pain he received, and soreness of his bones, but still found the time to yell out the monster's name to confirm their rescue. "That must mean Junsa is here!" The Gaadei stood proudly at the undertaker it had helped round up; orange coat pressing up its back among the ebony stripes it took. Pallid fur hair rubbed its skull and exterior as it rushed over to its blue- haired, officer comrade. Hiroshi took a step forward, as well as Kasumi as Pikachuu gave a slight stir. "Junsa! You came just in time! I thought we were gonna die just a moment there...but of course, we couldn't have gotten as far as we did without Ca--" Kasumi looked around frantically to see no sight of the unusual boy and his shadow Myuu--only the sight of the forgotten Bagriasu, and Roketto Dan members left dead in their own blood. Junsa lifted up her cobalt hat, and looked questionably at them; pondering what the confusion was stating. "It was a blonde haired boy and his...Myuu." Satoshi looked up at Junsa with soft mahogany eyes, and, with the pale light to see, noticed among his ashen skin running blood. "The Myuu saved me...I don't really remember how...just that I got hit by the Bagriasu, then coming back to my senses..." He blinked twice before continuing. "To tell the truth, I was positive I was dead...it was like going through a tunnel or something before being pulled out." Junsa slowly nodded before turning to Kasumi and Hiroshi. "We've been after these guys for a while. They've robbed many liquor stores, and have raped over thirty women the past month." She paused. "You're lucky you're still alive." One of the policemen, a lanky man that seemed stout and rebellious by his eyes, came up to them as almost in a report, putting a pallid-gloved hand on Satoshi's shoulder. When he squeezed, Satoshi felt pain bolt up in all directions in his body, but stayed silent even if it was bothering him so. "You kids had a rough night; and by your looks, I can see you're not from Tamamushi...so get in the car, and we'll give each of you a ride back home." Satoshi, in a light-footed manner, tracked after Kasumi to flashing lights that were held among the police car, soon stumbling over a small package that glittered in a golden fragment--and, as he picked it up, seemed heavy in prospect. His fingers slid through the opening, and with his nails, ripped it open. Inside, Satoshi saw flickering bronze, silver, and golden objects-- glimmering almost as if they were winking at him. Excitedly, Satoshi counted the money; noticing over one hundred thousand yen--which, to his pleasure, was enough to send all of them; even Takeshi and Shigeru, to the tournament. *~&~* As Kasumi slid into the police car, smelling the foul stench of leather, machine exhaust, and donut crumbs, she couldn't help but wonder about that boy, and how he seemed so familiar... She glanced at Satoshi who too slid in the car, placing himself next to her almost too casually for her liking. When she looked hard enough at his eyes, she soon noticed who he looked, and reminded her of--Satoshi. *~&~* Caro watched the police cars drive away motionless across the Tamamushi streets, sighing silently as Gyro cuddled up on his arm in an affectionate manner. Besides him, the Saidon, in a form like Gyro's, too watched--silver blood replaced by a nothingness of black. "I hope I didn't spoil too much by making my appearance, Gyro." Gyro just gave a slight giggle, and started gazing at the clouds rearing above them.
