Shadow Trainer - kage tyurainersu By Shadow Trainer Ash Chapter Four - keep on callin' Youki na kaze ni tsutsumarete utsumuki nagara te wo furu kokyuu ga hora sukoshi hayakute nozoita kimi ga warau mado wo sukoshi dake aketara soko ni wa omae no egao ga nagarete yuku Kasumi raced Marco to the doors of the Pokemon Tech stadium, pratically thowing herself in to get into the tranquil of the tournament. He was not far behind her, although; throwing his fists into the air as he howled and screamed like an indian down the hallway like the idiot he was. Her heart throbbed blood in exhaustion, her mind still screaming in pray that Satoshi, Hiroshi and the others had made it safetly and on time. Grabbing the silver, freezing door handle that entered the stadium, Kasumi yanked it towards her to open it directly; pausing as light spread into her eyes beneath howling and cheering people. The stadium was pretty much an all-out kind of place; every kind of tournament ground you could think of was in there beneath the simple switch of a button--although fire and rock tournaments usually shared the same ground. "It's the first round!" Marco ran up to her shouting and screaming the words she already knew, grinning enthustiastically. "Amande should be in it with her fire and electric types; since it's the blaze round." Kasumi nodded in agreement as she glanced off far into the stadium of various colors, spotting Satoshi's mahogany haired, cerulean eyed friend Amande standing determined and ready for the battle against Aaron; the so called 'school bully' whimp that raised up a gang called 'The Fireblasts' with his Rizaadon. His silver hair shone in the sunlight as the emerald eyes it took glared viciously among his pug-like face, fists clenched around a monster ball that too gave out its own shine. Amande, to Kasumi, reminded her of Satoshi in many ways--which, by her prospect, made since why they got along so well...even if Amande liked to play tricks by the million on the poor boy. It came only too soon when the announcer's booming voice took shot into action, releasing his power over the two trainers. "We're now starting the round with the essence of fire!" The crowd burst out cheering and calling of the two trainer's names. "The two trainers of this round is fifteen-year-old Amande Natome versus sixteen-year-old Aaron Serio! At the count of three, release your first Pocket Monster!" Kasumi and Marco slid down the many stairs leading to the siting levels, searching for an available seat as a familiar set of faces came into sight. "One!" "Shigeru, Hiroshi!" Kasumi gladly greeted them as Marco took his seat next to Kathurine [whom he found] and profited a conversation of bets who would win the round of fire, laughing at each of their pathetic bets of ten yen on Aaron while at least one hundred went on Amande. "I mean, Aaron's tough 'an all, but he thinks he's all surperior 'cause of his Rizaadon." Marco slouched lazily as he counted the thirty yen pieces in his palm that had happened to be sitting in his pocket soundlessly, soon handing them over to Shigeru who grinned. "I betcha Amande even has one herself...maybe a Bakufan, yes?" "Two!" Hiroshi nodded heavily as Shigeru left to use Marco's yen pieces to get a coke and small bag of popcorn. "I'm pretty sure she has a Rizaadon...Satoshi mentioned it once, I think. But I wasn't really paying attention, since...well, ya know, he's the runt as I call him." Kasumi giggled as Shigeru came back in place grinning broadly at his treats, immediately stuffing his face as Hiroshi grew angered, and too started taking all the popped curnals away. "Three!" Kasumi turned to Hiroshi and Shigeru, and shoved the popcorn into their face. "Shuddap you too! The match is starting!" Now both begging over the popcorn, they both dug their hands into the butter as their eyes as well fixed on the match, Marco going over the 'some people are so typical' type of conversation in his mind. Amande grinned as she snatched up her monster ball, letting it fly within ease as a whisper of 'I trust you' escaped from her lips. Within a sharp ray of pallid light, a Hinoarash wailed its arrival. It turned sharply towards Amande who raised her right hand--which, as response, lit its howling flame. Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling omae no tame ni Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling omae no tame ni Aaron looked at her 'pathetically' unevolved Pokemon, and sent his own Pokeball flying, releasing a scar- eyed Buusutaa. It's crimson ears stuck up into the sky across its tan flame, ebony eyes glimmering Hinoarashi's reflection. "It looks like a tight match here, folks!" The announcer's gaping voice echoed across the staidum rapidly, causing Amande to slightly flinch. "Amande's Hinoarashi versus Aaron's Buusutaa!" Just as the announcer's voice faded, the ebony scoreboard placed among the stadium shone the two rival's faces paired with their Pokemon. "It's a two on two battle, so be sure to choose your attacks wisely!" Amande grinned as the announcer's voice yet again faded, determination fully planted across her face as she took her chance to strike first. "Hinoarashi, Honoo no Uzu!" Hinoarashi's jaw became engulfed with fire as a rope of flame decended, crawling like a snake toward the Buusutaa as it howled. "Buusutaa, Kousoku Idou!" Buusutaa with ease dodged the rope of flame, coming back at Hinoarashi within full speed; ready for a powerful Kasmitsuku attack within its might jaws. "Denkousekka!" Hinorashi immediately escaped from the jaws of the mighty monster, slamming its head straight into the chest with full force, digging its tiny claws in with it. Buusutaa flinched within a slight scream of its name, beckoning back with a Keanhousha in which Hinoarashi easily got back with another Denkousekka, continuing to stab as it was thrown back by Buusutaa's paws. Amande, more confident than ever to beat her rival, called out for last measures for his Pocket Monster. "Hinoarashi! Doku Gasu!" Hinorashi's flame lowered into its silky back, its teeth performing a substance that was soon straining from its teeth. Taking his chance, Aaron called out the next attack to be delt within this 'burden'. "Buusutaa! Get it with a full force Ikari!" Buusutaa's flames grew heavily among its back as it began to charge at the small Hinoarashi, claws grabbing the ground heavily as they began kicking up dirt to pounce and sink in its jaws... "Now, Hinoarashi! Let it fire!" Hinoarashi's jaw became engulfed with smog, the slimy substance attacking the leaping Buusutaa into confusion. It came to back to its four legs and began coughing and growling heavily to the thick smog, the substance sticking to its eyes like glue. "Now charge a Zutsuki!" Hinoarashi charged at the confused Buusutaa at full force, sending it flying to Aaron's feet--fainted--jumped upon by a surprised attack. "And the winner of the first round is Hinoarashi!" The crowd cheered enthustiastically as Amande pressed Hinoarashi into a big hug, watching as Aaron, upset and dimwitted, returned his Buusutaa; nearly kicking its monster ball. "Well, looks like Amande has this match made." Marco slouched backwards into his seat, turning towards Kasumi within that grin of his. "Hey, where's Satoshi anyway? Thought I'd never see a day when 'ol Sato- kun would miss a match." Kasumi seemed to almost glare to Hiroshi's content, Kathurine giving Marco a hard shove for being stupid in such terms. "He'll be here, Marco. Just wait...Satoshi always comes to his matches." Hiroshi nodded heavily, remembering the day Satoshi had been late at his match during the Sekei league...yet, their 'ol Satoshi always got through someway or another, even if the Roketto Dan were hard on his trail. "Well, since we know Amande is going to win this match, I'm gonna go get some more popcorn." Shigeru grinned sheepishly at the basket of popcorn he and Hiorshi had spilled while fighting over it during the match, reaching his hand into his pocket to only bring up five yen. "Five yen!? That's only enough to get that nasty octopus jerky Marco likes so much!" Marco glared at him in clenched fists, giving him a dark look of superoity. "What's wrong with Octopus Jerky?" Shigeru laughed at Marco in continuous measures as he shoved him to the side of the stadium rail, pushing the five yen into his palm, while answering smooth and sure of his answer. "What ISN'T wrong about them, Marco?" Pushing the five yen in his pocket [while thinking of the jerky he would buy with it] Marco continued Shigeru's unique challenge. "Hey! It's special in it's own--er--unusually unique way!" Kathurine, Kasumi, and Hiroshi bit back a few laughs as Shigeru just looked plain annoyed at Marco's immaturity. Sighing, the group left the stadium in slow tracks, talking endlessly about the battles they were going to face soon enough as the clock clicked three, only to have Marco stop by a stand to get some Octopus Jerky and get pushed down the stairs by laughing Shigeru. *~&~* Taka naru omoi wo mune ni mezameta asa wa setsunakute nigedashite mo mitsumete itai negai wa kanaerareru kono kaze ni notte omae no soba made konna ore dakedo sagashiteru "Sir...they're here." The microphone's voice had a small shimmer of a woman's voice on the other line as Sakaki pressed his shadow over to listen intentinally, grinning broadly as he pressed the button to recall his voice. "That may be news of excellence. Bring them in." The office door window unlatched within a sharp click, allowing the outsiders to enter within no problem of intefering. The room smelled stuffy and of smoked tabacco, crimson 'R's hanging in all directions of the prepostional's eyes and senses. It was by all chances the boss of the Roketto Dan's office--held by superority. Unlatching the door to enter, a grinning Musashi and Nyaasu, followed by a downcasted Kojirou fled into the room in their pallid Roketto Dan outifts, outcasting their position as rookies. Although, ever since Satoshi, or the jurai-boii of their nightmares, had fled back to Masara, it gave Musashi and Kojirou more choices of Pokemon to steal other than his Pikachuu [and not to be stopped by it as well]. They had grown more surperior, and had become true Roketts that only happened to wear their white uniforms intead of black--taking even murder into a choice if necessary. Sakaki grew quite fond of them because of their new evolution, and now gave them much more powerful techniques of the Roketto Dan...such as Nyaasu's occasional place at his lap where his Perusian usually sat, enjoying a nice cup of warm milk and refreshing pats among the ears. Kojirou, although, never enjoyed the luxury. His emerald eyes often lied silent as if in their own world, remaining almost as if he weren't there. The word had gottten to him so, and, even as he had gotten drunk that night and lied in bed with that...girl...Aque... His eyes squeezed shut as he rememered their shocked faces as they both woke up only to find out a mere month later she had become pregnant. Musashi knocked him out of his thoughts as she spoke up to Sakaki grimly, raising her cerulean eyes up tall in almost a begging manner. "So, boss...you wanted to speak to us?" Her lips raised to her nose in hope for a raise; the temptation to great to resist the wealth of good money. His scratchy voice responded a quick "yes" as his Perusian mewed a sign of affection for its master, cuddling close to his chest as his massive hands rubbed the tan fur of the creature in the same sort of affection. "I need to know if you've gotten that----bird----undercontrol..." Musashi gave a slight nod. "We're almost there, Master! The Yunegeraas' we're using are very powerful-- brainwashing him like water does to a lonely seashell on a river bank." She grinned. "Had to stab that gym leader Natome a few times before I got hold of them--her psychic powers got in our way a lot--but we got free, and no one knows of our entrance there because of our new 'weapons.'" Sakaki gave a slight nod, and glanced over at Kojirou who didn't say anything. "Is the woman dead?" "No sir." Musashi beckoned the knife she had used to kill the woman on the street earlier, pausing to let the blood drip off the blade. "I just stunned her a bit. No big deal." "I see, then." He gaze still hadn't let Kojirou as he remained his now silent self, lavender hair falling in strands beneath his emerald eyes, "and Kojirou?" His eyes arose to meet his. "Be sure to cuopperate nicely...for if you don't..." He took the bleeding knife from Musashi and placed the blade at his neck, letting the glint rush down to the point before speaking again. "For I'll have your neck for the mistake..." He pressed the blade a tad bit closer, letting him feel a slight prick. "And if you make another..." Kojirou took a deep breath. "I'll have your head." He took the knife away, and handed it to Musashi yet again. "Understand me?" When he nodded, Sakaki pressed his microphone down to phone his secretary. "Lead them out, Myou; and make sure they keep a guard on Honou while I'm gone." He gritted his teeth into a grin as Persuain purred louder. "For when I'm gone, I'll be having a slight talk with Rugia." *~&~* Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling omae no tame ni Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling omae no tame ni Mado wo sukoshi dake aketara soko ni wa sou ookinaku mo ga futari no kokoro wo sou tsutsunde yuku sa kitto "Wha...what is this place?" Kasumi let her flashlight's light pour like milk into the deserted hallway, cobwebs and dust clouds appearing everywhere you looked and placed your hand upon. Coughing and sputtering from dust, Amande traveled not far behind, accidently tripping over Marco, who, as casually as he could make it, was pretending to be a lamp-post so no one could 'see' him. Amande, after winning against Aaron when their two Rizaadon's came to match, she had caught up with the group, and, on accident, helped them discover a small passage way near the janitor's office that led to what looked like an abandoned school story. Dust shrouded the dirt covered windows,[apparently it was underground] and left smudges and scratches from various construction. Kasumi pulled her flashlight up to a few of the room's corners, only to shudder at the sight of various cobwebs shrouding the walls and desks of the hallway. Bugs...just what I need... Hiroshi went ahead of the group, and, being guided by Kasumi's flashlight, began searching the hallway. Peeling emerald paint crept off the walls to show the bare cement that bore the building together, cracks tearing up the abandoned gaps that now belonged to the spiders. Marco simply chewed on his jerky as everyone looked around in awe, searching around for some sort of answer that could lead them to the conclusion of where they were. "Hey guys!" Shigeru's voice seemed to shock within echoes as he yelped for the others, apparently finding something worth seeing. Kathurine, being the fastest of the group, was the first one to reach him, pearing over his shoulder at the so called 'something' he had found. Boxed ontop of each other, wooden crates filled with a rubber-like substance filled to the top within mold as it's company, a horrible stench proceding from the objects. Kathurine immediately stepped back. "Shigeru!! It looks like moldy old octopus jerky!" Her eyes looked at him almost evily as he laughed, her fist ready to pound him as Marco ran up to them. He grinned when he saw the moldy jerky. "I guess the people that used to come here must've had good taste in food accesories!" As he continued to laugh, making Kathurine grow ticked, Hiroshi yelped from another corner with Kasumi for them to come over--this time actually finding something a tad bit useful. In her hand, Kasumi held a small, cobalt squared pannel that read "matsuru gakko," or otherwords "a school of worship." Amande cocked an eyebrow at the pannel, and took it from Kasumi's grasp, running her gloved fingers down the rim of the square. "So lemme get this straight...this is another school story that had been used for some type of worship on Pokemon, or something?" Kasumi nodded. "That's what it says, anyway...maybe if we could find maybe something like a bible or anything religious we could find out about what they studied before my match starts." Agreeing, each of them set out in groups to look for something in particular that could tell them the history of this unique school hall. Shigeru, Marco, and Kathurine went together as one group towards the right of the hallway, as Kasumi, Amande, and Hiroshi went in the other group, and stayed near the left. Kathurine and Shigeru therefor had the worst of the job; they not only had to search the place, but had to keep their wild team mate under control until he badly injured his mind...if he hadn't already. Marco was always skipping and prancing around like a looney during their search, which made Kathurine feel like she was going to die of the embarassment of being his girlfriend. As he raced by skipping like a madman, Kathurine pushed her palm to her forehead, "Why didn't I listen to my mother? You should go out with Walter, Kathurine! Not some lunatic like Marcus!" She sighed, and watched in anger as Shigeru laughed. "You didn't listen to your mother 'cause you have more important things to worry about, of course! Same with all teens...if you hadn't known that until now, welcome to the world of 'puberty.'" Glaring, she continued down the dusty hallway, watching as Marco made giant dust tracks across the tile floor in giant leaps; apparently pretending to be an enthustiastic, retard Hane. Grinning broadly, he ran across the floor to only trip and fall flat on his face, cursing slightly as his head gave a massive thump across the school desk he had fallen in front of. Kathurine rolled her eyes, muttered 'moron', and ran up to help her pathetic boyfriend. As she pulled him up, Marco cursed slightly at the bump that had run through his head, rubbing it continuously. "Somethin' fell on it, and I'm sure it wasn't the desk that did the job!" Sighing, Kathurine searched the dusty area beneath queezing, only to find a golden trimmed, leather bound book that had been bent at the corners from HITTING something hard and thrustful, inked pages gliding down the paper. "Marco! I think you found something...!" Marco grinned as he rubbed his head, greeting Shigeru with a 'I'm better than you' look as he removed a piece of octopus jerky from his pocket to munch on while Kathurine would 'babble' awa about his discovery. Placing a gentle hand on the delicate cover, she traced bold kanji and hiragana letters that spelt out the words of 'Pokemon Kami,' or other words, 'Pokemon Gods.' Eyes now raised in curiosity, Kathurine flipped open the cover to reveal the first page; Marco and Shigeru hanging over her shoulder as she silently translated the words: "Since the beginning of time, the world was made up of only the realms of fire and ice; each combining a mixture that exhausted smoke into the air once they clashed in the empty void they lied upon. "The smoke was said to have combined together with so much power of the elements, that the legendary beasts of all sorts were born that day--soon having them give birth to the less surperior monsters we call Pocket Monsters, or Pokemon. "The first born of the elements were said to be the Gods that rule our world to this day--releasing the powers of Gyaryu, the ground God, Aroboi, the Poison God, Kaolan, the Psychic God, Myostern, the Plant God, Koniko, the Fire God, Mizua, the Water God, Raizuol, the Thunder God, Quetro, the Dragon/Normal God, and Baoku, the Flying God. It also predicted in prophecy that two humans born as dencendents would take on as the Gods of Darkness and Light. "The bird beasts, Honou and Rugia, were known to control this power, and of the state of mind of people called of Ambitioners and Shadow Trainers. It was told by legend that if a feather was pulled from the wing of Rugia, it would eventually drive an Ambitioner out of his/her mind in anger; resolving people to their death out of their will. The same went for the Honou feather, only the process went slowly and rationally--only making their eyes turn gold under strong emotions more frequently than their usual life went. "After the process of the feather being taken, the spell can be broken if all the Pokemon Gods release their energy into the subject in one way or another--transforming the subject into their blood's natural Pokemon origin..." Kathurine shut the book, and simply shrugged as dust flew in all directions at the slam. "No wonder they no longer have this floor opened. It taught such unbelievable nonsense." Shigeru and Marco shurgged at that comment. "Ya know, Kathurine...it's just religion; so don't go calling it nonsense." Shigeru frowned as he turned around sharply, letting his auburn hair fall to his nose. "What is it, Geru-kun?" "The entrance..." He paused, and continued to stare. "There's three doors instead of one like earlier..." Marco and Kathurine turned to look at Shigeru's discovery, soon enough discovering he was right. Instead of the one door entrance they had taken, there were now three doors that looked like any of them could be the correct exit. Marco, as curious as he is, went up to one of the doors and examined the wooden brookline, pressing his fingers among a sharp crack jettisoned inside the wood. Measuring it with his fingers, he kept the position, and moved onto the next door, than the next, examining the same spot as earlier. "I can't believe it!! The doors are all EXACTLY the same...! Not an illusion, either...could feel them perfectly." He paused. "It could be a trick ghost Pokemon are playing on us..." Kathurine shivered, examining the dusty walls among them. "That'd be quite weird, really...usually you know if a place is covered with ghosts..." Shigeru nodded in agreement. "But...I guess to find out we'll each need to go through one of the doors." He stared at Kathurine and Marco who nodded reluctantly. "Just make sure you have a protective Pocket Monster with you." Shigeru, Kathurine, and Marco stared at their monster balls at their belts, nodding at each other as they took the different doors that seemed to lead to a darkness of nowhere. *~&~* Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling omae no tame ni Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling omae no tame ni Shigeru cautiously crept through the dark tunnel beneath the door he had entered, his heart beating fast and furious at each step he took beneath his sturdy mahogany boots. Burakki walked besides him just as quickly, crimson eyes gleaming through the darkness as light melted from the pores of its golden rings; causing them to glow viciously and faintly light up the tunnel. Ears up in alert, it kept close guard just in case any ghost Pokemon did happen to wander by to attack it and its master, gleaming golden eyes crushing fear through their bones. "Burakki..." Shigeru's voice quietly echoed throughout the tunnel as he traveled faster. "This tunnel sure is long...I don't think I got the right door..." Burakki sighed, and continued to travel next to its Master without a question, the light shading his face a deep pallid. *You don't have to be so pesamistic, you know.* Shigeru pratically jumped at the sound of the voice he had just heard, looking down at his Burakki questionally as it looked the same back. "Burakki...did you just speak?" Burakki's tail arose to the air, but soon lowered again within the glow of its crimson eyes. *It's not that I spoke, it's that you understood me! I've always spoke this way.* Burakki looked up at Shigeru questionally, sniffing as his boots to his knees in search for an answer. *You smell normal...* Shigeru beckoned a nervous glance; wondering if that meant a good or bad thing in a Burakki's terms. Without warning, Burakki suddenly pushed its front paws to Shigeru's chest, grasping his yin yang necklace off his neck into its jaws. "Burakki...!" Ignoring its trainer's plead, Burakki continued to push the necklace over and over as it sniffed it in confusion, listening closely as the necklace clattered across the ground without a sound. Scuffing up the necklace in its jaws again, Burakki handed the instrunment back to its master, now in perfect understanding as he put it back on. *Shigeru, your necklace has been posessed...it may seem kind of silly, but it's true. Someone must have somehow transformed the dark side of your Yin and Yang necklace into reality...making you compatible with dark type Pokemon when you wear it.* Burakki paused, and slowly looked up at Shigeru who was examining his necklace in confusion. *Have you been with anyone paticular lately that seems to resemble darkness in any way?* Shigeru shook his head easily. "Nobody I've been by has anything to do with darkness...I guess it might've been a Goosu." *I guess so.* Reluctance reflected in its voice as it responded, knowing it must be someone he knew in paticular... Shigeru continued to walk forward into the tunnel, soon coming across a small crack of light. "I made it, Burakki!" Shigeru raced within heavy echoes toward the crack, peeling it open with both hands almost as if it were paper. Light escaped into his vision as the crack increased, confusion confronting both him and Burakki as they saw themselves now in the rustling hallway of Pokemon Tech, a torn tournament banner being pulled apart in his hands. Turning around quickly, both he and Burakki noticed no door that they had come out of...only a blank wall that seemed to lead to nowhere. *~&~* "Raichuu, use your Furasshu attack!" Marco watched as the orange Pocket Monster squeezed tightly at its cheeks, releasing a glow that faded among the dark tunnel from ways to come. "Arigato! Now let's go! I betcha Shigeru and Kathurine are already lost and waiting for us to go and save their butts." Raichuu giggled as its lengthy tail swatted the air like a fly swatter, tiny paws dangeling at its chest as it rested next to Marco. As they continued to travel down the path, Marco and his Raichuu came to a dead end that blocked their path from the tunnel--and, as he turned around to try another way, saw his path had somehow become blocked that way as well--leaving them both trapped inside the cavern. "Oh dammit!" Marco cursed crudely, looking around at the edges of the cavern, seeing nothing in paticular that could help them escape. He continued to search desperately until he noticed unusual, ash-printed markings illuminating on the roof of the cavern, revealing a crude shape of a hand. "Raichuu! I think that means that we have to get out there and press that marking to get outta here..." His Raichuu nodded, but soon looked confused on how they were going to get up there without a ladder. "Rai...chuu...." "Don't worry, buddy. I can stand ontop of Biriridama and Marumain...they should make the height well enough for me to reach. You can use your tail to keep them from rolling off." Raichuu gladly agreed as Marco released his three monsters into the illuminated cave, ordering his two Biriridama to take its place among Marumain. As soon as the Biriridama did so, they and Marumain rolled in place together uneasily, only to be stopped by the rim of Raichuu's tail. Pacing himself, Marco slowly started climbing up the spheric, Pokeball colored monsters to reach their height, doing his best to keep his balance on their slim areas as they continued to rock uncomfortably. Sweat was pouring down his neck in horror that he'd fall off the good nine feet off the ground. Closer the mark came as Marco reached out his farthest to reach it, only when Raichuu used some of its tail's strength did his palm place its grasp on the marking. The marking seemed to crack almost as if it were a puzzle piece, revealing an entrance that was shrouded in light. Pushing one arm out of the hole, he returned his three Pokemon, and grabbed his Raichuu in the other, pursuing himself up from the crack as he ripped and tore at the slice, his feet dangling inside the cave as he continued to rip at the hole to let himself out. But then, just as his energy left him, making him again fall back into the shrouded hole, he instead found himself siting on his knees, covered in a Pokemon Tech banner that had been ripped into pieces by his fists. Sweating heavily in confusion, Marco hugged Raichuu to his chest as he watched the many students pass by, only to see the same ash-coated marking imprinted on his hand. *~&~* "I hate dark places..." Kathurine shone her flashlight in all directions around the bare tunnel she was walking among, the sharp darkness even repelling the flashlight's spilling blaze back into her eyes. Her Fushigidane slowly trudged behind her in slow measures, sharp eyes keeping alert for any enemies. "Come closer, Fushigidane...you don't know what's in here..." Fushigidane came closer to its master in unison, peering at her in worry, "and don't worry about me, pal. I'll be fine right when we get out of this damned cave and find our friends." Her comrade gave a heavy nod as they continued down the path, a glittering substance catching the side of her eye. Within a hard twist, she glanced at it, shocked at what she saw. "Fushigidane!" She picked up the glimmering rock in her palm, grinning boadly. "They're diamonds...!" She gazed farther up the path, noticing the same glitter persuing all the way down the hall. "And there's millions of them!" Her palms took a big scoop of them from the ground, grinning enthustiastically. "Five of these are worth at least five hundred thousand yen, Fushigidane! We're rich!" Fushigidane watched as its trainer persued as many of the diamonds she could inside of her pockets and backpack, grinning broadly as she zipped her full backpack up closed, finding it a bit difficult near the end where the bulkiness straught through. "Mom'll be so happy! We can finally move to somewhere besides such insolent places we've been living in." Fushigidane's confused glance of all this money business met its trainer's now weary smile. "What's wrong, buddy? Aren't you happy?" Fushigidane knocked over one of the diamonds with its emerald paw as Kathurine shone her flashlight at it, seeing her reflection look straight back at her as well as a mirror of rainbow lights flooding the room in a beautiful constellation. The rainbow lights shone directly towards another wall that held a crack within it, each color dazzeling through the small crack brightly. Kathurine slowly approached the glimmering light, pressing her wrist through the silver-like beam of color, watching as it faded into the colors with ease. Grinning, she took it back out, shocked to still see the colors impailed among her wrist. She looked up above the crack the light was impailing into two and fro like a sword stabbing a knight, seeing a small patch of black ingraved into the granite. Interested, she shone the flashlight's golden milk onto it, seeing the same exact stance she was in right now, only that the light traveled across a round-like object in the picture, reflecting among every piece of crystal that lied in the cavern. Immediately she realized where she was, and what Fushigidane was trying to tell her... this was where the rainbow was created to be sent around the world--breaking scientific matters as she knew it. Getting on her knees, feeling the cold stone beneath her stab her knees into the dust, she quickly unzipped her backpack, grabbing all of the diamonds she could out, placing them in the corner where the others lied; Fushigidane helping fluently. As soon as all the crystal was put back together in the corner of the cave, she shone her flashlight onto the sparkling rocks like she had before, causing them to glow radiant, and to shoot out their light to the gash in the cave; creating the full rainbow. Staring in awe, she watched the rainbow glitter and gleam its film of colors, soon persuing her step with Fushigidane at her side inside the gathered colors of the world. Takeing off into a run, Kathurine and Fushigidane dashed down the path of the rainbow and broken crack, only to find themselves upon the hard, flat rocked concrete of the Pokemon Tech track, blinking in confusion as the glorious colors vanished from her sight. But as she took off running towards the school, afraid of the trouble she might be in with the others, she couldn't help but feel an object pinching tightly at her side, causing a slight bit of pain. Reaching inside her pocket within a stuff of her fist, her fingers hit something sharp and rigid. Interested, she brought the object up forth--for it only to be one of the rocks that made up the beautifully silver decor of the rainbow. *~&~* Shigeru, Marco, and Kathurine eventually found each other [and the others] about five minutes later, explaining each other's journey through the tunnel that lead through nowhere. Amande, Kasumi, and Hiroshi admitted to not finding anything, but gladly took hand of the book Marco had accidently found for a read on how the school used to cooperate. But as the time passed, they each raced off to get Kasumi ready for her turn in the tournament; the tunnel a mystery to all of them...but as a shadowed stranger Kasumi now knew only too well grinned brightly at them for learning a lesson of the ancients, only you and I know the mystery of the shadowed tunnel of nowhere. How can it be you and me? Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling How can it be you and me? Keep on Calling Keep on Calling Keep on Calling How can it be you and me?
