SA (That's me): WHERE'S THAT NARRARTOR? N: Here I am, you crazy boy. SA: Yeah, yeah, put 
on what happened last time .N: Okay. Now we left off last time where one of those death rockets 
elite shot something. Now remember, the author here is crazy and*Whack*SA: The help nowadays 
is criminal...Back to our story. N: Hey, I didn't finish! *SA slips on duct tape on narrator's mouth* 
Well, Story on chattering off.)

Everyone ducked just in time. Everyone was lucky they escaped a bullet. Every one of the Death 
Rocket Elite, who had a gun, took it out and began shooting in every direction. "INTO THE 
HOUSE!!!! "Brock yelled. They did except for Brock. Charizard was still outside and fainted. He 
couldn't leave the pokémon out on it's own. Brock put his hand inside his backpack and began 
running against the bullets. Every step Brock took the bullets were coming in closer. Brock slipped 
and fell down in the ground. A bullet came out of nowhere. Then suddenly a solid black rocky body 
came out of nowhere. What the hell was that? Brock thought. He looked around himself and saw 
one of his pokémon appear and his little brother, Onix and Jiroo. "Yo, Brock. Looks like I got here in 
the nick of time" Brock stopped looking at the black Onix, who looked like he was smiling and 
giving roars of happiness," You sure did. This mine?" He pointed at Onix
"Yup, got too experienced he got turned to a coal black color. And what about that Charizard?" 
More guns shots came but Onix's rocky hide stopped them. "Oh, yeah. "Brock looked up" Onix, 
stop those guys by binding them. The rock snake nodded and circled the Death Rocket Elite. Then 
suddenly Onix gave those guys a rocky squeeze. "Ahh!" One of the rockets shouted out.

Brock ran towards Charizard with Jiroo following him. Brock took out a small spray. Brock pressed 
the button and a red gas came out. Brock pressed the button of the spray more and finally stopped. 
'Brock looked around and checked Team Rocket. "Still squeezed. "A tiny roar came from Brock's 
side. Charizard had woken up. "Char!!!" Charizard saw Team Rocket's killing team and roared 
loudly. "Simmer down" Jiroo said to the fire dragon. But Charizard didn't take notice. It wanted to 
fight for himself. Why let Onix have all the fun. "Char" Onix looked down at Charizard and nodded. 
Onix flicked its tail and threw down four Rockets. "Ouch! Shit!! A Charizard!! We'r..."Before the 
member could finish Charizard grabbed all four people and flew up into the sky and went around in 
circles. Then finally Charizard dived down and threw the four Death Rocket Elite to the ground.

"STOP!!!"

Charizard looked around. Duplica was standing next to him. Why should it stop when it was having 
fun?
"Charizard, stop. I know how you're feeling when those guys made you use that attack which made 
you faint. But please.... Don't kill them. You'll be sinking to their level. "At these words Charizard 
stopped hitting the rockets. Although he was surprised to see a giant Articuno next to him right 
where Duplica once stood. "Art-talking, -Cun --is--no--hard when you're a pokémon. "The Duplica- 
Articuno opened her mouth and sent a cold beam at some of the Death Rockets. Frozen. Next 
Duplica-cuno sent a great blizzard by flapping her wings. The icebox went flying towards the cold 
mountains of Pallet "That should keep them alive. But I suspect they won't be able to breathe 'till a 
couple of millenniums."

                                            *~*~*~Deep Inside The Forest~*~*~*

There was a great rustling of leaves and snapping twigs. Team Rocket's--Cassidy and Butch--were 
running. Ash and Daniel were following them. "Come back here, you two. "Ash shouted. The small 
yet sharp branches coming out from the trees were tearing his pants. Ash's pants, somehow, came 
back to normal as if the pants were magic sewing back the torn parts. Daniel Ketchum was running 
faster than Ash, yet no sound came out. Ash thought his father had just used agility. But when Ash 
used it, he went faster than him, meaning that his dad was just a fast runner. Ash again used agility 
going at a blinding speed. Ash got hold of someone's shirt. Whack. Ash got punched in the nose. 
The pokémon trainer fell down onto the forest ground with a thump. Daniel came out from behind 
Ash and let out a hand to take pull him up. Ash took it and stood up, then Mr. Ketchum ran off in 
pursuit to catch the two villains. Ash moved his hand, up to the part of his face where he got hit. It 
hurt but the pain was somewhat soothing to him. Just like a phoenix song. Soothing. Phoenix. That 
punch wasn't from Team Rocket. It was from him. From the Ho-oh in him. It was the legendaries 
taking over his body. He couldn't resist. Ash suddenly lost consciousness, but didn't fall. His body 
turned deep black. His body went as black as the black hole in space.

"Pi. "Misty looked down on Pikachu. Those one black eyes of the mouse seemed empty.Misty's 
eyes widened in fear. "Pikachu, what's happening? Everyone including the black Onix and Charizard 
looked down at Pikachu, who jumped up from Misty's arms and did a side slip in mid-air. The 
thunder mouse fell down on all fours and ran out towards the forest. "Pikachu."

"What did it say?" Delia asked. Jiroo looked like he was thinking and then finally looked at 
everyone" I know" he said pointing his finger to the sky. "Pikachu said "Pikachu" Jiroo said with a 
big smile. Everyone fell down anime-style." Jiroo, cut the humor! This is serious "Brock shouted." 
It's the dog star?" Brock looked totally annoyed. "Anyone else know what it said?"

"Yes."

Everyone looked at Duplica. "Well?" May asked, "What did it say in English?" Duplica just looked 
into the direction of the forest with a worried look" It said...Kill. Death. ."Everyone fell silent and then 
looked at the direction of where Pikachu entered the forest. The silence was so quiet that it was 
scary. Everyone stampeded towards the forest.

"Pikachu, to me" Said a deep; yet hollow voice as the speaker outstretched his arm. Pikachu 
jumped onto the arm and looked at its master." Let us kill!" Pikachu just stared at him. Then 
nodded slowly in a spooky kind of way. The pair disappeared in a flash of red light.

                                               (Let's see how Daniel is making out)

A fist came out of nowhere towards Daniel. "Hah, missed me, Butch. You're getting old" Butch kept 
punching as Cassidy was fixing a broken nail "It broke I can't believe it!!" She said, Butch was left 
standing to fight. "Not as old as you, old-timer. You can't even hit me right. At that final note Butch 
sent a heavy punch to Daniel. "Old-timer, huh? Can't hit you right, eh? Did you mean by hitting me 
right like this?" Daniel leapt up with a forward flip and then punched Butch on the nose. Blood flew 
everywhere from Butch's nose. "Rah! Why oo ol' pool. 'Ow dare 'oo hit me." Daniel just looked up at 
Butch. "Easy. By daring to hit you. Did you forget I was the leader of the Death Rocket Elites, 
Butch?"(Writer's interruption: Say this 'Butch' like how James used to say it.)

Daniel looked up into the sky and saw some men fly by. "Sigh. They're not as tough as they used 
to be. "Daniel said as he dodged one more punch from Butch. "Speaking of which, who is the new 
Death Rocket Elite leader?" Daniel leapt backwards to avoid a kick from Butch. "'Oo else? It's 
Sotashi!" Butch replied.

Daniel fell down out of shock and out of Butch's push. "Sotashi ?! That murderer?" Butch smiled a 
evil smile." 'es. Sotashi. Your ol' rival, Sotashi. He's as strong as oo'. Almost looks like oo' except 
pour the buu eyes and plat hair. Can't stand that he's the new 'eader, huh?"

"Not really. A little pissed off but not that much. "Daniel sent out a ball of purple energy right at 
Butch. Butch flew backwards onto a nearby tree and slid down the trunk. "Oh, I'm sorry, did I hurt 
you?" Daniel yelled in a mock voice. Butch struggled to stand up. Then a shriek came from where 
Cassidy was sitting. A dead body fell down next to Daniel and Butch. The body was having a black 
and slightly torn up shirt and a small black skirt. The center of the shirt was having a big bloody red 
R; blood glistened in the red R. Cassidy. Her blonde hair was no longer beautiful. It was shining with 
blood. Cassidy was…"Dead?" Butch said out silently. He turned to Daniel, who was watching 
Cassidy lie down on the ground dead.

"Ketchum! What dit oo' do to 'er?" Butch said in a low and ferocious growl. Daniel looked down at 
Cassidy and then slowly turned to Butch "I didn't do anything."  Daniel said. "I was too busy fighting 
you." Butch looked angry. Very angry "UR LYING." He yelled out. Daniel just looked calm though he 
was scared of the swift death of his former teammate. Daniel closed his eyes "I'm not l-"Daniel 
opened his eyes to see Butch; who was down on the ground close to a tree. Blood oozed out of his 
stomach and then down on his pants. "What the hell?" 

Daniel turned around to see rustle of leaves from the trees. As soon as he turned, a huge tree came 
falling down. Luckily, Daniel rolled on the ground just in time before the whole thing came down onto 
him. Mankey's ran out of the trees and disappeared into the other end of the forest. Daniel brushed 
off the dust off his clothes and turned to look at the fallen tree." Who the hell would push a tree 
down to the ground without yelling 'timber'?" 

"Me." A voice that was deep and hollow voice spoke.

Daniel turned around so fast that his jacket made a whoosh sound. He looked at the person 
standing behind the shadows
"Ash?" Daniel said softly. 

"Yes, I am Ash. Master of pokémon."

"Er, … Ash, you're not yet a champion."

"Pfft… How little you people know. I, Ash Ketchum, am not a second rate to anyone. But… I can 
show my power. Pikachu, use your Thunder bang attack." Ash said with a menacing look. (Me, the 
author will use a poké translator.) The bright yellow Pikachu nodded and let out a battle cry.

"Ash, you're not going to kill your own father." Daniel said softly. Ash simply leaned against the tree 
while Pikachu was charging up. "I have no parents. No family. No friends. Not even a home." Daniel 
looked shocked at these words. Pikachu body glowed a brighter yellow. The glow hurt Daniels 
eyes. But Ash stared at Pikachu with no sign of weakness to the light. {"Ready to hit"}
The Pikachu squeaked in poke language. Bang! A sound like a gunshot came from Pikachu; Daniel 
looked at the spot where the thunder mouse once charged up. It wasn't there. Then a hard 
pressuring pain and electricity hit his stomach The "Oof."

"What the hell is wrong with Ash?" Daniel thought." What does he mean by he has no parents. No 
friends. No home? Unless… No, it can't be the Possession of death strike. "  Daniel stood up "Ash, 
you're not yourself. Fight the power of Death Striker." 


A gentle hiss came from Ash's back." Daniel So you do know my power…hiss…I can control 
pokémen
For I can for my own use usually death." The hissing stopped. Daniel looked at Ash; he 
was as still as a rock, being possessed by Death Strike just as he once was. "You may be 
wondering why I have tried to possess... sss your son."

There was no question that he had been thinking that" Yes. I have." He answered.

"You're are becoming quite dense. In fact, you're always dense. (A/N: So that's where Ash got his 
denseness. XD)

" I'm not dense. Not like you. Now tell me why you possessed my son and then let's duel." Daniel 
shouted out in a firm voice. 

''Ss… since you're too stubborn… to admit you're dense. Ss. here… goes ss… It was before I 
think… that you were a headstrong and carefree child…. also containing an ancient power that has 
not been known for centuries…sss Things like that is extremely powerful. So I tried to possess you. 
You were under my power. But then you have controlled your power. I could stay for longer amount 
of time if you hadn't. Do you know why? The reason is because you are too powerful for me. You 
could take over your mind even if you got possessed. You pushed me out of your mind and soul. I 
fell down. My powers were going on and off because you are a powerful being. I sensed where you 
currently were. Thanks to my power of psychic mind. I came here as a shadow in the night. It was 
easy. As I have no shape. I have just my power to possess. I would change my shape at will like a 
Ditto. But, no I wouldn't. I wanted the power of everything in one shape. So I went to pokemen and 
then I was powerful enough. The killings I had done while I possessed you. It was just the start of 
my power. You did not know until you got control over yourself. Until the night you remembered your 
past. To your wife and son. Love. You remembered how to love. I would've taken out your entire 
memory and that would've made possessing you easy. When you remembered…you saw, fought 
and even tried to kill me. You lost. I left. Then you left to come here. I thought if you did not suspect 
where I was, I could possess you with ease and take out your memory. But I saw two pokemen. 
Then it was a perfect way to kill you. I have not yet taken out your son's memory as the possession 
has not lasted two days..sss. And that has leaded me here... to you. Now about that duel?"


Daniel was entranced deeply in Death Striker's voice. The words he had heard were something he 
did not expect to here. Death Striker was here. He wanted to kill, to get revenge on him. Daniel was 
stirred for a few moments after that then he said" Alright, lets duel."

" Sss, just as I suspected. Since I have no shape…and have long forgotten my body" A whipping 
sound came from the air." Here my long lost body is" A man that looked around 40 or more was 
standing next to Daniel. The figure was all in black. The man's face was white. Pure white. The 
figures head was shrouded under a hood. The mouth of the spooky man was just a tiny line, 
stretching on his face. Death Striker threw back his hood and two red, snake-like eyes were shown 
as well as two slits where the nose should be." Le..ss battle"


Ash was still standing as still as a statue. Pikachu sitting down on his shoulder eyes as black as 
ever. Death Striker shot out a long, thin and red beam to announce the start of the battle. Brock, 
Delia Ketchum, Duplica, Jiroo, May and Misty saw the beam from over the forest trees. They 
quickly ran over to them. "This is impossible." Misty said. "Duplica, can you transform into any bird 
pokemon to search the skies? "She continued in a commanding voice, which she gave out only 
when she was worried. Duplica looked at Misty as though she was a maniac "WHAT?!" She 
shouted "And get hit by a beams that come protruding towards the sky. No way. Not even if it 
concerns Ashy"

Misty sighed" All right, all right. Don't get all crazy about it. I'll go do it!"

Everyone looked confused." How, Hun?" Delia said. "Easy. I'll just choose…. AHH!" misty fell down 
on her back as a beam hit her stomach. A pokeball fell out of her hand and a white light came out 
forming the shape of a giant duck. " A GOLDUCK?!" Brock exclaimed. "Gold." The blue duck said.

"Ouch that hurt." Misty said as she regained consciousness. "Err….Psyduck's just using mirage. 
Attacks that may be useful like a transform attack."  Suddenly the blue duck with a ruby on its 
forehead turned into a small, orange one with two big eyes." Okay, Psyduck, use your mirage to 
turn into a giant bird. Hum… Like a Pidgeot." A big bang was heard. A white and brown bird with a 
yellow and red mane and tail and sharp talons appeared in the spot where Psyduck was. "Whoa…" 
Brock looked dizzy and fell down. "Brock." Delia shouted out with May, Misty and Duplica.

"Oops. Sorry, everyone thought it was the guy shooting out beams of different light. Got hit two 
times already." A boy with a red and white bandana and black pants with red T-shirt was standing 
next to a giant Crobat. "Crow". "Arm…I got a potion if you want. Oh yea, and my name's Brendan. 
Brendan Birch." May's eyes opened wide and she fainted. "Does she have a blood pressure?" 
Brendan asked.

Suddenly a giant red and blue was coming closer. Smoke was arising out of the sand. The beam 
came closer and closer to the group. "HEAD FOR COVER!!" Duplica said and then morphed into a 
Pidgeot and blew Brock and May's bodies to the other side of the forest. Psyduck, Misty, Brendan 
and Mrs. Ketchum ran over to them but they got caught in the storm of beams and explosions. 
"AHH!!" Duplica, too, got caught in the storm.

Whoa…. my latest part of Ash's decision is huge!! But there's still more to come. It might be larger 
than this. O_o;  

Dumb Questions Section or DQS:

What happened to Ash? Will he regain his sanity? Why did May faint? Since when did Brendan 
come in the anime? Will Brock be all right? What happened to everyone after the explosion? Where 
will this Fanfic lead? Did Mrs. Ketchum forgive Duplica? Where are the other pokemon? –I can 
answer that. In the house XP—will Sotashi come in my fanfic?

Pokedex section:

Onix—Rock/Ground: Block, Tail Whip and Bind. [Block-Prevention of 
attack to pokemon using the move or to someone else. Tail whip--
Hitting people or other pokemon with a tail. Bind—A squeezing 
move.]

Charizard—Fire/Flying: Seismic toss.[ A move which the user catches 
the opponent and flies around in the sky in circles, making the 
opponent pokemon dizzy and then the user throws the opponent to 
the ground.]

Articuno—Ice/flying: Performed shape by Duplica. Blizzard, Ice beam. 
[A move, which causes a Blizzard. Forms a beam of ice. Might 
freeze.]


Pikachu--Electric: Thunder bang. [Pikachu charges electricity and hits 
the opponent with a bang.]

Psyduck--Water: Mirage. [Can change into any form like a transform 
attack. An advanced move.]

 Pidgeot--Flying: Shape formed by Duplica. Gust. [A hard flapping of 
wings causing a windstorm.] 

Crobat—Flying/Poison: Confusion
