*****Chapter 12: Sweet Chin Music Revival***** "You killed him. YOU KILLED ASH!" yelled Melody as she held is head in her arms. "And you're next. You're all going to follow Ash who was following Misty." Once Matrix said that, Misty kicked up. She walked over to where the cage had broken. She grabbed the steel block that was hanging and climbed it up to the top of the cage. She walked over to the right corner of the cage and flipped her bloody hair back. When she flipped her hair, it stuck to her mirrored vest; it was like someone had dumped a bucket of red paint on her head. Blood flew up as she flipped her hair. She started performing the 'Heartbreak Stomp'. Matrix's face went pail white. He slowly turned around to be met with the most powerful 'Sweet Chin Music' Tracey had ever seen. It was more powerful than anytime he saw Shawn Michaels do it. "That was for Jade." She said Matrix flew back, his feet off of the ground. He flew off of the cage and landed face first on the plank of barbed wire. "That was for my dad." Misty walked over to Ash, she looked at his bullet wounds. "Ash, you can't die. I know you can hear me, now get up. Get up…" Misty was cut off someone hit her in the back with a chair. She stood up and turned around, but only to be hit again in the face. She stood still for a few seconds. Jesse had shot the person before they could hit Misty again. But finally, Misty began to fall back. Before she fell to her end, someone grabbed her hand. "Don't let go Misty." "Ash?" she said almost out of it. "Don't' let go." "I…can't…hold…on. My…hand…is…slipping…" As Misty 's hand slipped, Tracey and James grabbed onto Ash's feet and pushed him over the edge so he could grab her hands again. He did it; he got a grip on her wrists. The doors all flew open. There were dozens of masked soldiers with assault rifles. "Ash, wrap it up." "Don't let go Misty." "What's the point of holding on? I have no life, I'm…a…terrorist." "No you're not, now you have a life. You have a dad, and friends…" Misty's hand slipped more. "Misty, you have to pull up too." "I can't I don't have the…strength. I don't care anymore…" her hand slipped even more "No, don't let go Misty Ketchum." After hearing those words she put her foot in one of the diamonds of the cage. She pushed herself up and into his arms. The two kissed and didn't even care that there were soldiers everywhere. "Guys, I'd hate to break this up, but we're about to be shot at...again. God, being a spy sucks sometimes." "Wait, VIPER! COME HERE BABY!" Misty yelled at the top of her lungs. "What did that do exactly? Misty I think you've got brain damage from those blows to your head." Said Jesse The men started coming towards them, when the sound of a V10 engine echoed through the wrestling arena. A red Dodge Viper RT/10 blasted through the glass entrance doors. It fired shotgun rounds at all of the men. It stopped at the very bottom of the cage. Misty climbed down and sat in the drivers seat. "Hey baby. Did you miss me?" "Vroom." The Viper revved up as Misty asked the question. "Al right, let's go kick some ass tag team style." Misty slammed the gas pedal and the car was gone. She had two shotguns and a mini gun firing at the men. The five agents on top of the cage were climbing down. They went into the ring to get James' car keys that had fallen out of his pocket as he was on top of the cage. A dozen soldiers climbed into the ring and began fighting hand to hand with the five. Misty turned around and saw this; she put the parking brake on and spun the wheel as far as it would go. She accelerated and headed right to the ring. When the car reached the cage, Misty got out. "Go kill all of the soldiers." The Viper drove around by itself and shot all of the soldiers in its path. The soldiers were beating the five. Than Misty came in. She ran at one of the soldiers and gave him a 'Spinning DDT'. To another she gave the 'Van Daminator'. She went to the turnbuckle and climbed to the rope. "Hey!" All of the soldiers looked to her and started heading for to her. She turned around and did another 'Leap of Faith' taking down three of the men. One went behind her and grabbed her around the waist. She kicked him in the crotch to make him let go. She grabbed him around the neck and ran to the turnbuckle. She ran up it, kicked off and slammed the guy's face into the mat, also called a 'Dudley Dog'. The other five gunned down the rest of the soldiers. "I think it's time for us to leave." Said Tracey "I think you're right." Said Misty as she ran to the women's locker room. She walked to her locker and pulled out her military fatigue. She dragged it across the floor behind her as she searched all of the lockers for a back pack. At last she found one. She dumped her clips and grenades inside the bag. She pulled out the two Walthers and put one on each side of her waist. "You ready to go Mist?" asked Ash as he came in "Yeah." She said back as she wiped the blood off of her face. "Let's go." She said as she took out her guns. The two went out the other entrance, which led straight to the hallway corridors. Misty motioned to Ash that there was a guard just around the corner. Ash nodded and then lined himself up against the wall. He stuck his knife out into the hall behind the guard to make sure no one else was roaming. When he didn't see anyone else he forced the knife into the guards back and put his hand over his mouth so he couldn't scream. Ash pulled him out of the hallway and threw his body in a dark corner. He turned around to continue down the hall when Misty who was standing two inches from him surprised him. "What?" "Nothing. Ready?" She asked with a grin on her face. Ash responded with a nod and they continued down the hallways. The other agents were sneaking their ways down the narrow corridors also. There were more guards this time through. James was leading the group of four through the corridors back to the underground port. They found that they were lost when they found a door that led to the Cafeteria. "Not this way James. Turn back around." Tracey said as he approached the door. Jesse was the one in the back. When she turned around the corner she was met by a group of soldiers with assault rifles. "This way! This way!" Jesse shouted as she turned back around. James was the first to run through the doors of the open cafeteria. All of the people inside stood up and looked at them. "Wait! We're friends of Misty Waterman." Melody said. The group of people in the cafeteria reached into their pockets and pulled out pistols and aimed at the four. "Well I can see Misty was the Prom Queen." The four scattered throughout the room and took out their pistols. "Wait! Don't shoot them!" Misty had bolted through the doors and jumped onto a table. "Don't shoot them." The people in the cafeteria took their guns away from the four and aimed them at Misty. "Oh this is not good." "You weren't popular were you Misty?" asked Jesse from underneath a table "Not really. But I wouldn't mind this if Jade were here." She replied back "Wait! What about Jade Misty?" asked a tall black woman. "She's dead." She said as everyone in the cafeteria brought out another gun and aimed it at Misty. "But I didn't do it! Matrix killed her! He put a bullet in her head!" "I don't know about anyone else, but I think that we should go pay Matrix a bit of a visit." Said the woman "Don't think so," said Misty, "You see this blood all over my face and clothes? Well that's from Matrix. He split me open with a chair. I showed up, challenged him to a fight, and beat him. If you want to go kick his lifeless corpse he's lying in the Training Room on the plank of coiled barbwire." "You killed Matrix?" asked a man "Um…yeah. He killed my best friend. He killed my dad and he ruined my life. I think he did that to you too," The group of soldiers barged into the room. They split up and went for the six who were now in the cafeteria. "Get them! Do it for Jade." The people in the cafeteria began beating up the soldiers. Misty started running towards the other five when a soldier stepped between them and walked towards Misty. "Misty." The black girl whispered to her as she placed herself on the opposite side of the table, which Misty was standing next to. "3D." Misty nodded, then she poked the soldier in the eyes. She grabbed around his torso and picked him up. She brought him down when the woman grabbed his head and helped slam him through the table. "Nice 3D, Jasmine." "Thanks Perfect Dark. I learned it from the best." "Yeah, Jade was the best." "Behind you!" Jasmine shouted. Misty ducked as Jasmine flipped over her back and kicked the soldier over a table. He landed at James' feet and looked up at him just long enough until James slammed his foot down on the soldier's head. Another wave of soldiers came in from the opposite door. Jasmine pushed a row of tables past the soldiers. Melody and Ash jumped on the table and rode it past the soldiers as they shot at them with both of their pistols out. A soldier grabbed Ash's legs from behind and pulled him off. "Ash!" Melody turned around to help Ash but was surprised by a wave of soldiers running towards her. She turned back around and ran down the row of tables. She ran towards a wall and ran up it and did a back flip just in time before the tables collided into the wall. While she still in the air she reloaded her guns and fired at the soldiers when her first foot hit the surface of the tables. Two soldiers were beating up on Ash. Misty decided to help her boyfriend by running up to them and kicking them both hard in the gut. When they bent over, she gave them both a 'Stone Cold Stunner.' "Thanks Mist." Ash said as he kissed her. Two more waves now came from the door behind Jesse and the door on the left side of her. She ran to the wall and did a kart wheel then a back flip and locked her feet up against the wall behind her. As she shot forward, Melody slid underneath her and shot the soldiers to her left (now her Jesse's right). When all of the soldiers were down on the ground Jesse kicked off of the wall and pulled herself up with a front flip. Melody was lying on her back with both of her guns aimed at the door. She slid bother of her Berettas into her holsters and then kicked up. Everyone walked to the center of the room to meet. "Good job guys. Thanks for all of your help with the soldiers." "So is that the only reason you came her Misty? Was it just to kill Matrix?" asked Jasmine "No. These five stole the 'GT Precision Missile Guidance Chip." "Did you guys get all of them?" asked a man who was standing behind Jasmine "Yeah we got it." Replied Ash "It?" "Yeah." "Matrix copied it. There's more than one. Ten to be exact. You have nine more." The man told them "What? Misty why didn't you tell us?" asked Jesse "I didn't think he would've copied it. Look, forget about that. We need to get those chips before he launches them." "I'll help you." Jasmine said "What?" "Porsche reporting for duty, Perfect Dark." "Porsche?" asked James "It's my nickname." She replied "All right Porsche, let's load up. You can cover me in my baby." The seven walked out of the cafeteria and back to the Training Room where all of the cars were. The red Dodge Viper RT/10 was now parked next to the other five. "I'll go with you Misty. You can take me to the garage. I'll pick up my car from there and help you out." Said Jasmine as she sat in the Viper. "Hey Viper, what's up." The Viper responded with a rev of its engine. Misty unlatched the roof of the car and took it off. She carried it to the back of the car, "Viper, open the trunk." The trunk door unlocked and sprang open. Misty placed the roof of the car in the trunk and closed. She walked around to the left side and patted the hood as she sat in the car. "Guys, how many missiles were in the room?" "Just one." Tracey replied "Jas, do you know where the other missiles are?" "Yeah, on the other side of Ondlae. That's why you'll need my car." "No, that's why I'll need Jade's car." "You brought Jade's car? "Yeah, I thought it deserved to get some revenge. After all, the GT40 and the Viper are tag team partners." Misty pushed in the clutch and shoved the manual stick into first and peeled out. Misty drove fast into the garage. She slammed on her brakes and left a 100-foot skid mark behind her. As Jasmine got out of the car, she revved the engine. "You sure you want in on this Porsche?" "Yeah Dark. He killed Jade, the girl that I trained with. She was my partner through everything. I'm not going to take that sitting down." She said as she walked towards a yellow Porsche GT2. "Nice car." Melody said as she stood beside Carrera GT. "I like yours too." Jasmine replied "Go Porsche power." Melody said throwing her fist up as she sat back in her car. Jasmine turned on her car and revved up the engine. "How do you like that?" she asked with a grin on her face Melody floored the gas pedal, making her car let out a high-pitched scream. "How do you like that?" she said back. "All right, we need to get those chips." Misty said waiting in her car. "Besides…" she floored her gas pedal making her Viper let out a fierce roar. She took her foot off allowing the Viper to purr softly. "I like mine the best. Now come on, we still need to get the GT40 in on the action. The other five agents were now standing beside their cars waiting to go. They all looked around when a whirling sound echoed thbrough the garage. "Tracey!" Jesse shouted. Tracey turned around and saw a rocket speed for his car. He jumped out of the way just in time for him not to get hurt by the explosion. He turned back around to see his silver Corvette Z06 as it laid in the center of the garage as a flaming mass. Misty quickly shifted into first and spun around to face the man with her car. She pushed a button underneath her radio. Two small control platforms slid from underneath her two steering wheel grips. They slid down and locked. She red light turned on behind the platform and allowed her to read the title of each button. She pushed the button that read 'Heat Seeking Rocket.' She pushed the button to have the entire left side of her windshield turn orange. The man that was standing on the other side of the garage turned red. He stood in his place as he tried to reload his rocket launcher. He slid the rocket in and aimed at the Viper. Misty touched a button underneath the 'Heat Seeking Rocket' button that read '2.' The man finally fired his rocket. A new heat form showed up on her windshield. A small screen located beneath her stick shift and to the left of her parking break turned on. The rocket showed up as an orange object on the smaller orange screen. She touched the rocket with her index finger and pushed the button on the control panel that read 'Fire Heat Seeking Rocket.' A rocket fired at the rocket and hit it head on. She touched the image of the man with her index finger and pushed the 'Fire Heat Seeking Rocket' button. Another rocket shot out of the front of the Viper. The man threw the rocket launcher down and ran down the hall. The missile followed him through the hallway and exploded on him, causing a cave in. "Let's go before any else comes from somewhere else. Tracey, I'll take you to Jade's car. You can drive that. I'm sure she wouldn't have minded. Jasmine, you can ride with Melody." "Okay Misty." Tracey said as he walked from the burning car holding the Corvette symbol from the front. He walked to the purring Viper and sat in the passenger seat. Before he could buckle his seat belt he was shot back as Misty slammed the gas, launching them to the caved in hallway. "Misty! It's caved in!" Tracey shouted to her over the roar of the engine. She quickly reached over and pulled the parking brake up. Tracey grabbed onto the door's armrest as they the car performed a 180 spin. Again he was forced back in his seat as she punched it again. The roaring Viper sped past the other five cars that were now starting to accelerate. Melody floored her accelerator as she attempted to catch up to Misty. She continued to fall behind as Misty sped through the hallways, which were just barely wide enough for a car to drive through. When Misty saw the way that Melody blew through she followed that. She sped through the rest room and through the large open room. She continued speeding through until she reached the underground dock. Misty and Tracey both got out of the car and walked to the Black GT40. "GT40, start up." The car turned on and revved up three times. "Okay, listen up GT40, Jade's dead. I'm giving you a new owner. His name is Tracey Michaels." Misty nudged Tracey to get him to speak. "Hey…GT40." The car revved up one time but held it for three seconds. "Wow, it likes you." Misty opened the door and let Tracey sit down. "Okay Tracey, flip this switch to reveal the weapons control panel." When she flipped the switch two vertical platforms slid out from behind the steering wheel. She waited for the two to lock in to place. The platform lit up with a blue light from underneath. "Next you push any of the buttons you need to. You have rockets, boost, tire spikes, machine guns, magnetic charges, oil slick, and heat seeking missiles." "All right. Thanks Misty." "Anytime Trace. Take care of her." "You guys ready?" she asked the others "Hell yeah Mist." Ash said as he walked up to Misty. He wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her close to him. "What are you doing?" "This." Ash leaned over and kissed Misty on the lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck. "Melody, say something." James whispered "Oh for the love of God. Hey, Ben and Jen! Let's go here!" "Sorry Mel." Misty said as she let go of Ash's neck. They all sat in back in their cars and drove up to the hallways and towards the outer island.
