*Chapter 13: Need for Speed: Exotics Unleashed*

	Misty was now heading straight for a large window. On the other side was 
the outer island. Melody had now sped up to meet Misty's side. The two sped 
side to side through the large window. The shattered glass was thrown 
everywhere. Misty shook off her shirt to get the two pieces off of her. The others 
followed through as the glass shards fell on the windshields and roofs of their car 
with quiet dings.
	Tracey now had the horsepower in his new Ford GT40 to catch up to 
Misty's modified Dodge Viper RT/10 and Melody's Porsche Carrera GT. He sped 
up to Misty's right side and gestured a wave as he pushed the accelerator further 
down to send him speeding even more. 
	"Yeah right." Misty said as she shifted her car into fourth gear. "How do 
you like this?" she yelled to Tracey as she covered his windshield in dust from 
the trail. "Porsche, can you lead the others ahead to the Missile Depot?" Misty 
asked over a walkie-talkie system in their cars.
	"Sure. But what are you going to do Dark?" 
	"I'm going to stay back and make sure no one tries to stop you guys."
	"Got it."
	Jasmine sped ahead of Misty followed by a trail of dust and kicked up 
grass. The yellow GT2 sped by the others with its machine guns out and four 
missiles pointing out of her front side grills. Jesse, Melody, and James closely 
followed her. 
	Ash quickly sped up to Misty's side and rolled down his window. "I'm 
staying with you to help you out!" he yelled over the roar of the two engines.
	"Me too Mist!" yelled Tracey from her left side.
	"Thanks." She looked back to her steering column to look at her weapons 
control panel. "Get you weapon controls out!" she shouted over the three 
engines.
	"Got it!" Ash replied back.
	The three watched as the two Porsches, the Ferrari, and the Chrysler as 
they sped through the now forested trails.
	"Ash! Do you have wheel spikes?"
	"Yeah, should I use them?"
	"Yeah! Tracey! Release your wheel spikes!"
	"Uhh…okay, got them out!"

	Jasmine led the group of four through the forested trail. Her machine gun 
was firing at soldiers as she drove by. She was driving in third gear. Melody 
followed closely behind her in second gear. She fired a rocket as a large defense 
turret popped up just off of the right side of the trail. When the rocket hit the 
turret, the top shot up in the air. It was heading straight for James' car. He 
pushed a button that released wheel spikes. He turned up a slanted 
mountainside. He drove up and drove along side of Melody and Jasmine. He 
continued driving along the side of the mountain until he past the two Porsches 
and the Ferrari. He drove in front of Jasmine and slammed the accelerator, 
leaving her in the dust.

	The three drove around the half grass-half sand terrain for several 
minutes. A Misty slammed on her brakes as she heard a loud sound. She looked 
over and saw the large garage door open up. A group of exotic sports car such 
as Porsche Boxsters, 911 Turbos, Saleen S7s, Mercedes Sl55 AMGs, SLKs, 
Lexus SC 430s,Lotus Espirits, Elises, Jaguar XKRs, Ford Mustang Mach 1s,SVT 
Cobra Rs, Ferrari 360 Modenas, 575Ms, 456Ms, 550 Barchetta Pininfarinas, 550 
Maranellos, Dodge Vipers, Chevrolet Corvettes, BMW Z8s, Z4s, Audi TT 
Roadsters, Aston Martin DB7 Volantes, Vanquishes, Acura NSXs, Lamborghini 
Murcielagos, Diablos, and Opel Speedsters. The cars all had their weapons out 
such as rockets, machine guns. The three saw that they were shooting at each 
other.
	"Little help Perfect Dark." Said a voice over the walkie-talkie system in her 
car.
	"On my way, Raptor." She said as she floored the gas pedal and sped to 
the group of cars. Ash and Tracey closely followed her. Misty drove along side a 
silver Mustang SVT Cobra R. 
	"Help Dark!" he shouted as he looked behind. A black Corvette Z06 was 
tailing him. Misty let her foot up on the gas to let the Corvette catch up. She 
slammed into the right side of the car. Sparks flew from between them. The 
Corvette pulled away but Misty followed him. As he accelerated more she 
pushed a button that fired a missile. It hit the center of his license plate and sent 
the car flying in the air as flaming matter. She drove past in and back to the 
others. She saw a silver Lamborghini Murcielago and a black Ford GT40 speed 
after a group of cars driving towards the Missile Depot. She accelerated after the 
group.

	The four exotic cars were coming up to a barricade. There were five cars 
with machine guns and rockets waiting for them to come closer. As Jasmine 
sped around the corner, the car on the far right fired a rocket. It sailed straight for 
the windshield.
	"Oh crap!" pushed a button on her weapons control panel that made her 
front and back windows to shatter. The rocket flew through the car and towards 
Jesse. She swerved out of the ay and left it up to Melody, whose machine guns 
automatically targeted the foreign rocket and blew it out of the air. Jesse turned 
her head around to see Melody and James drive through the fire that spread to 
the trees. 
	Jasmine pushed another button that fired a small ball at the group of cars 
behind the barricade. One of the soldiers got out of his car to throw it back when 
it blew up. A path of fire ignited the area of the barricade. The Chevrolet 
Corvette, BMW Z8, Porsche 911 Turbo, Jaguar XKR, and the Mercedes SL55 
AMG were each blown into the air as the flame traveled underneath their bodies 
up ignited the fuel in their gas tanks. Jasmine and Melody quickly drove 
underneath the cars before they crashed into the ground. James followed the two 
and just missed the Jaguar. Jesse was still speeding through but started to slow 
when she saw a group of soldiers stand behind the flaming cars. She started 
accelerating again and fired a rocket and the flaming BMW Z8. The car shot back 
and hit the group of soldiers while Jesse sped between the Corvette and 911 
Turbo.

	A yellow Saleen S7 was speeding after Ash. It brought out four shot guns, 
two from behind each head light. It fired a shell from each gun. Sparks flew from 
the back of the Murcielago. Ash reached over and pushed a button that lowered 
the bumper of the car. A white fog as blown from out of the back of the car. The 
Saleen could not find its way through the fog. From behind, Misty saw it start 
swerving. It spun out and crashed into a tree. Another car driving by shot it with a 
rocket, causing it to blow up into the tree.
	Misty sped up, trying to catch up to Ash and Tracey. She was only a little 
ways behind Ash but was cut off when a black Ferrari Barchetta Pininfarina drove 
up behind Ash. The Viper got its grip back only after two seconds. Misty pushed 
a button for boost. The car went sailing forward. She was forced back in her chair 
with her hands holding on to the wheel as much as they could. When she passed 
Ash she pulled up the emergency brake and turned the wheel to the right. The 
car drifted across Ash's path and fired at the Ferrari with two machine guns. As 
she continued drifting and the Ferrari drove by, the machine guns eventually hit 
the gas tank. The car flipped over to the left and spun four times in mid air and 
landed on its roof on top of an Opel Speedster. Misty turned the wheel more until 
she straitened herself out to go after Ash and Tracey. She looked back in her 
rear view mirror and saw the blue Opel Speedster blow up underneath the 
flaming Ferrari. Both cars flew up and came back down with the Ferrari still on 
top of the little Opel Speedster.
	As Tracey drove through the forested trail a Millennium Yellow Corvette 
met him on his left side. He continued driving with him next to him for several 
seconds. The Corvette quickly turned over and rammed Tracey. He was now 
pinned against a wall by the red Corvette. Tracey finally got the Corvette to get 
off of him just enough so Ash could get between the two. He pushed the Corvette 
over to the other side. The Chevy battled away from the wall but was over 
powered by the Murcielago's 580 bhp. Ash saw a levy coming on the right side of 
the road. He quickly braked the car and spun around to the left side of the Chevy. 
He pushed the Corvette over to the small levy. "Put the Chevy to the levy, but the 
levy was dry." He said as he rammed the Millennium Yellow Corvette hard into 
the levy causing it to flip onto its right side. Trace quickly pulled to the left as he 
passed the Corvette. He took out his pistol and rolled down the window. He shot 
at the gas line underneath the car's chassis. The car exploded, flying up in the air 
and landing on the other side of the levy.

	Jesse followed the other three exotic cars as a wave of cars accelerated 
behind her. A silver Porsche 911 Turbo shot out Jesse's rear right tire. Her car 
drooped down to the right. She pushed a button on her weapons control panel. 
Her rear right tire re-inflated. "Thank you Tomorrow Never Dies." She said with a 
smile on her face. She pushed another button on the weapons control panel. The 
Pegasus on the back of the Ferrari folded down. A small tube stuck out of the 
back and released a stream of black oil slick. The cars behind her began to slide 
around. Jesse entered a clearing in the trail she quickly turned so that the oil slick 
that just fell was just inches from her tail pipe. She pushed another button for 
boost. A flame shot out of each of the four rear tail pipes. The flame that came 
out of the two right ones ignited the oil slick. A flame began running down the oil. 
When nit reached the cars behind Jesse the flames were shot up to the bottom of 
the chassis where the oil slick had been kicked up to. The cars each blew up one 
after another. The cars following Jesse to help her were weaving through as the 
flaming cars crashed back to the trail. "Thank you Pegasus." 

	A loud roar of thunder echoed over the dozens of roaring exotic engines. 
Misty looked up at the clouds that were now gathering overhead. The black tint 
hid the sun from the dark trails. Misty looked around at the cars driving behind 
her and saw that none of them had their lights on, which she thought was a good 
idea, that way no one would really see them coming. She continued driving down 
the trails until she felt a rain drop. She looked up at the sky and heard rain 
submerging the land. She looked through the small rear window underneath the 
large overhead bar and saw a cloud of rain pouring down behind her. I was 
heading her way and she didn't have the roof on. She floored the gas and 
popped in the clutch to shift to fourth. She let the clutch out hard and forced the 
gas pedal down. She looked back in the mirror and saw the rain disappear 
behind the tall mountain she had just curved around. Up on top of the mountain 
she heard the rushing of water. She looked up and saw a large stream of water 
pour down from the top of the mountain. She turned close to the mountain and 
watched as the water crashed into the ground just feet away from her. "Oh, thank 
God." She continued driving next to the mountain until her car's interior was 
instantly flooded. The mountain had drooped down several feet allowing the 
water to pour directly into her car. She flipped her soaked hair and looked back to 
make sure no one was behind her. She quickly stopped and opened the door. 
Gallons of water rushed to the side of the mountain and down the trail. The car 
continued to be massacred by the rushing stream. She walked to the back of her 
car and said, "Viper, open the trunk." The trunk unlocked and slowly opened up. 
She grabbed the roof of the car and slid it out. As she walked around the right 
side of the car she was shot at by a purple Mustang. She dropped the roof and 
jumped to the other side of the car between the mountain and the car. She 
waited until the Mustang drove off. She reached over to the passenger side of 
the car and pulled her cell phone out of the glove box. She climber through the 
car and turned on the phone. She dialed for the operator and asked for Richard 
Carrington. Her call was transferred.
	"Hello?"
	"Richard. It's Misty."
	"Misty you did it? You killed Matrix well that's wonderful!"
	"Yeah it is, listen, we're in a bit of a problem…" she stopped talking to 
jump to the other side of the car to avoid getting hit by the speeding BMW Z4. 
"Richard we're in a bit of of a problem. Matrix already copied the chip. We're 
driving to the Missile Depot to get there. There are about one hundred if not more 
cars shooting at each other. It's raining over here really badly and I can't get the 
roof on my Viper. I keep getting shot at. I need Ash's cell phone number."
	"All right, it's…"
	"Yep, okay, thanks Richard."
	"Good luck Perfect Dark." 
	"Thanks." She pushed the end button on her phone and turned on the dial 
tone again. She dialed in Ash's number.
	"Yeah?" he asked preoccupied
	"Ash, I need your help."
	"Misty!? What happened?" he asked concerned
	"My car is flooded and I can't get the roof back on my car. I keep getting 
shot at by these crazy European cars. Can you back me up?"
	"Sure I'll be right there."
	"Thanks." She turned off the phone and threw it back in the glove box. She 
sat in the driver seat getting soaked by the pouring water. Whenever a car drove 
by and shot at her, she would fire back with the machine guns. 
	Finally she saw the lights of what looked like a Lamborghini. A person 
stepped out quickly and ran to her. 
	"Look out!" she shouted as a red Acura NSX sped at them and fired a 
rocket at the man.
	The Lamborghini fired a small rocket at the oncoming rocket and hit it 
dead on.
	"You okay, Misty?" the man shouted over the thunder and the distant roars 
of the car engines.
	"Yeah. I need to get this roof up." She said as she squeezed some of the 
water out of her hair.
	"You're telling me. The water feels pretty warm. Do you want to sit in the 
car like it's a hot tub?" he asked with a groin on his face.
	"No! Maybe later, but I need to get this roof on."
	"All right." Ash walked over and grabbed the black roof of the Viper. He 
lifted it up as Misty grabbed the other side. They led it on around the back. They 
held it up as much as they could so it wouldn't slam down when the water poured 
on it. They just barely got it down before it was weighed down with too much 
water. Misty locked the roof on and Ash did the same on his side.
	"You going to be all right from here?" he asked
	"Yeah, thanks Ash." She said as she patted his hand.
	She opened the door of the flooded Viper. Six more gallons of water 
poured out onto Misty's legs making fall back and slide twenty feet down the trail. 
Ash ran after her and helped her get up.
	"I thought you said you would be all right from here."
	"I did, but I wasn't expecting to be washed away."
	"You better hurry up and get your baby out from under the stream. It's 
really forcing too much pressure down on your shocks." Ash told her
	"Thanks Ash." She leaned over and kissed him on the lips before she 
walked back to her car. She sat down on the wet leather seats. She turned 
pushed in the clutch and then let her foot up. She saw a soldier with an assault 
rifle sneak up on her. She looked over to Ash who was about to shoot him. She 
shook her head and grinned. She returned the grin and got in his car. Misty 
kicked down the clutch, shifted into first and let up the clutch as she floored the 
gas pedal. The wheels kicked up the gained water as they tried to grip the 
terrain. The force of the water pushed the soldier back. Her spikes on her tires 
finally gripped the terrain and she was down the trail followed closely by the silver 
Murcielago, which was throwing water fifteen feet in the air. Ash turned his 
windshield wipers on full speed because Misty was throwing so much water at 
him.
	Misty looked up the side of the mountain and saw a line of soldiers all 
aiming their two assault rifles at the two cars. Misty pooped in the clutch and 
shifted into third. The wheels threw the water twenty-five feet up in the air. The 
water hit the soldiers and made them lose balance as they fell to their deaths. 
	Ash saw a clearing up ahead and decided to pass Misty. He popped in the 
clutch and shifted into fifth gear. When he pushed down the accelerator the 
engine let out a fierce and low roar. Misty heard the roar and looked back to see 
Ash coming up fast. She looked at the RPMs and saw that she could shift.  She 
popped in the clutch and went into fifth. She let it out fast and slammed the gas 
pedal. The front of her car and Ash's car were matched. They sped around a turn 
and saw a group of soldiers running after the other cars. They turned around 
after hearing the roars, and saw two ferocious faces speeding towards them. All 
of the soldiers dove out of the way into puddles on the side of the trail. 

	Jasmine sped down the trail with her windshield wipers on high speed. 
She turned around a corner and saw a straightaway. She pushed a button on her 
weapon control panel. A purple tint spread down her windshield. She pushed 
another button underneath the previous that read 'Magnify.' She pushed the 
button. The visual range on her windshield was increased. In the distance was a 
blue outlined building. She touched the building with her index finger to reveal a 
small text box underneath reading, 'MISSLE DEPOT. 1.5 MILES.' 

	Down the trail were visible spectrums of lights being emitted off of the cars 
taillights. Misty and Ash both pushed a button to give them boosts. Ash launched 
forward first followed by Misty. Flames were being spit out of the Lamborghini's 
dual center pipes. Misty ha quite a show coming from her tail pipes. She had fire 
coming out of the two side pipes and the dual reap pipes. She saw Ash speeding 
away from her so she took the only available option. She pushed another button 
near the boost button. Two black Vipers slid fro the top of the steering wheel and 
slid down. They locked in place and then turned so the Viper's heads were up. 
She took her thumbs and flipped the button of the vipers up to reveal a red button 
underneath each. She pushed bother buttons at the same time. Her car lurched 
forward as she was forced back in her seat. The rpms skyrocketed to the highest 
she had ever seen. The speedometer quickly rose to 160mph to 170mph in only 
one second. The flames that came out of the Viper's tail pipes turned from 
orange to blue. The fire that came out of the side pipes was spit out four feet. 
The fire coming out of the back was spit out five feet back. 
	Ash looked into his rear view mirror to see a blue tinted Dodge Viper 
RT/10 speed up to him and pass him with ease. He looked at his speedometer 
that read 160 mph. He looked back up to the Viper and saw the trail of fire behind 
it. The water that the fire touched was pushed back. The Viper shot water thirty-
five feet in the air, throwing it through most of the trees lick branches and leaves. 
	In the rear view mirror for just a second, Misty could see Ash's astonished 
face. He had just seen a V10 American sports car speed by a V12 Italian sports 
car.
	
	Melody was now just a little ways from the Missile Depot. There was very 
little rain coming down anymore. The straightaway was completely covered by 
layers and layers of leaves and branches. As she approached the tall building 
she saw a tall metal structure. When little drops of rain fell she saw little lines of 
red, cross between the two metal structures. "What is that?" Right before she 
went through she pulled up the emergency brake. She turned the wheel to the 
right and performed a 180-degree spin. She let the brake down and floored the 
gas. As she sprayed water between the two towers she saw lines of lasers. 
Before the other three came she drove in front of them to stop them. Jasmine 
slammed the brakes and pulled up the emergency brake. Melody jumped out of 
the Porsche as Jasmine came in quickly. "Don't hit my car Jasmine, please." She 
said to herself. Jasmine slowly slid in and just barely hit the Carrera GT just 
enough to make the car shake on its shocks.
	"Sorry Melody." Jasmine said as she got out of the car.
	"Why did we stop?" asked James as he stepped out of the Chrysler.
	"I don't know what thing is. It has lasers between the two towers."
	"That's a…" but she was cut off by the roaring of a Ferrari 360 Spider. 
Jesse drifted perfectly around the car and sped towards them. She saw the three 
run in her way and shake their arms in the air at her. She slammed on her brakes 
and down shifted. As she slid by the three she heard them say, "Don't drive 
through the two towers!" Jesse was sliding in and was for sure goingt o go 
through. 
	"If she goes through it's going to set off sentry turrets that'll kill her once 
she passes."
	Jesse was only one hundred feet away and was sliding in quickly. She 
pulled up the emergency brake but continued sliding. Right before she slid in she 
let up the E-brake and pushed the accelerator so she would go forward a bit 
while spinning her tires to the right. When she started turning, she put her E-
brake back on and turned the wheel to the left. She slid slowly into the tall tower 
but luckily did not go through the two. Jesse sighed and got out of the car. She 
looked towards the other three and saw a group of cars coming. They started 
shooting just after Jesse told them to get down. Jasmine stood up and shot at 
one of the cars. She capped the driver who was driving the Lexus SC 430. The 
car slid in between the two towers and was immediately blown up with a missile. 
The cars following the Lexus slid towards the towers. The Audi TT Roadster was 
sliding in first. It turned sideways and was stopped by the two towers. The other 
cars slid into the TT Roadster. The cars were a Aston Martin Vanquish, Lotus 
Elise, Lotus Espirit, Aston Martin Volante, red Honda S2000, and the purple Ford 
Mustang that was shooting at Misty. The drivers all opened their doors and were 
about to get out when a missile that flew past Melody, James, Jesse, and 
Jasmine hit the Mustang. The Mustang blew up and flew up in the air. Another 
missile was fired at the Honda S2000. The explosion pushed the Honda and the 
other cars through the Audi TT Roadster. All of the cars were pushed between 
the tow towers. The drivers all looked up and saw the missile flying at them from 
every which way.
	The four looked to see where the missile was coming from. They saw a 
red and silver car drive slowly up to them. It was Misty and Ash. Misty stepped 
out and shook her hair to get all of the extra water out.
	"What happened to you?" Jesse asked Mist
	"Remember when I took the roof off of my Viper? Well I wasn't expecting it 
to rain really badly. I was driving along side a mountain when a river rushed off of 
the top of the mountain and poured into my car. All of my leather and well 
everything is soaked. I'm surprised everything is still running."
	"Didn't you insulate everything?" asked Jasmine
	"Oh yeah. I guess that's why everything still works." She said with a small 
smile on her face.
	"So how do we get through here? If we cross we'll be killed." James 
announced to everyone
	"There is a wall surrounding the Missile Depot, we have to go through 
here."
	"But how?" asked Jesse
	"I can go through with my Viper. The lasers accept certain vehicles. It 
would accept the Viper and Matrix's Esperante. I can drive you through one by 
one."
	"What about me?" asked Jasmine
	"I don't think your car has the clearance. I wouldn't try either. If you want to 
you can but you might lose your car."
	"I won't try."
	"Good choice." Misty replied.
	Misty got back in her Viper and revved it up. Melody was the first one to sit 
in. Misty drove the Viper through the laser and stopped just five feet in. Melody 
got out and Misty backed through the lasers. She repeated this until everyone 
was in.
	"Okay, everyone ready?" asked Misty after reloading both of her Walther 
P99s.
	"Yeah." They all said once they all closed their pistol slides.
