My Travels with Ash and Friends Ash's Scizor marcavincent@comcast.net A school for the "gifted" (part 4) First, I'd like to thank The Mage of Ice for his reviews. Next, I'd like to ask everyone else to submit his/her reviews, I need feedback! Now, ON WITH THE FIC! Day 2(continued) "I have no special abilidy," I said. Are you sure? "Cut dat out!" as I said this, a chair was raised off the floor and fell to the ground with a crash. The man in the wheelchair gave me a vindicated look. "Okay, whacha say yoh name was?" "My name is Professor Charles Xavier. This is my school for mutants, like yourself," he replied. "And, wha--" The door opened and the two women I first met entered. "This is Dr. Jean Grey," he said gesturing toward the red- haired one, "and this is Ororo Munroe, also called 'Storm'," he introduced the woman who had made the lightning strike. "But, how was I liftit into the air?" I asked. "I did that," said Dr. Grey. I gaped. That voice! "Yes, that was me you 'heard'." The window now had a crack in it. "Professor, I--Who's this?" a kid about my age entered the room. "Marc," I said, "and you ah?" I offered my hand. "Bobby," we shook hands, "but, I prefer 'Iceman'," he said. When I let go, I noticed that I had a thin layer of ice on my hand. "You can get your book, Bobby," said Xavier. "Thanks," said Bobby, "See ya 'round?" "Uh, sure," I replied as Bobby left the room, "I've gotta go, Mistah Xaviah, but--" "We can help you find her," he interjected. To be continued...
