Jessie sat on the soft green grass of a hill just outside of Blackthorn City. She was tired, and was dying for a new scheme to rustle up some fresh moolah. She stared out at the grass rippling calmly below. It was strangely peaceful in all of these hectic times. Running from the law, being on the heads-up about the twerp and his dorky friends… Well now it felt all relaxing, calming, lucid. She stared at James. His stringy hair, looked surprisingly attractive. His green eyes, looked bright and exciting. She had secretly pined over his furious charm, and non-surprising lack of wit, for longer than she could remember. All she knew was that he probably wouldn't return her feelings, but he would always be her partner in crime. James looked over to the side. He had just eaten his favorite sandwich, and was feeling quite content. Suddenly, with all of this tranquility, he saw something that made his mouth water more than a simple Turkey-on-white. It was Jessie; She had the strangest look on her face. He had surreptitiously been watching her when she wasn't looking. Her long, straight hair seemed to glisten in the sun. He had never known anyone more beautiful. (Although there was a cute waitress at the Dine 'n' Deli, but SHE was more outwardly hot.)No, Not even close to Jessie, but he'd have to keep that secret - she wouldn't take it well. But forever and always she'd be his partner in crime.
